‘Mad Men’ star Christina Hendricks flaunted her famous curves in her Golden Globes dress (which was designed by ‘Project Runway’ winner Christian Siriano). New York Times Fashion critic Cathy Horyn did not approve, posting in her blog:

Not pretty Christina Hendricks in Christian Siriano’s exploding ruffle dress. (As one stylist said, “You don’t put a big girl in a big dress. That’s rule number one.”)

Christina’s new husband, Geoffrey Arend (they married last October), let People know he thought Cathy was completely out of line.

“I was just upset about the whole Golden Globes dress thing. I thought she looked so gorgeous. And that New York Times blogger saying that… It’s so ridiculous,” he said…

“What was nice was seeing the entire internet come after that blogger. That was really cool. It was the first time I saw just a solid block of ‘You’re crazy! What’s wrong with you? You should be ashamed of yourself!’ [in the comments.] And honestly, the Grey Lady should be ashamed of themselves to print a picture like that, that they widened!”

Apparently, Geoffrey was right about the picture, according to Cathy’s own admission:

“The photo was slightly distorted inadvertently due to an error during routine processing. The photograph has been replaced.”

And it took Geoffrey calling them out on publishing a distorted photograph to get it corrected? Talk about MEAN!

What do you think of Drew Barrymore’s new look? She decided to switch things up with some hair extensions last Monday, according to Us Weekly.

Drew once said in an interview that she likes to change her look to avoid attention.

“I love my life. I really do. But there are moments I battle with it. Some days I want nothing more than a brilliant mask so I could look like someone else and go wander the streets and be free,” she said. “I’m very peeved Halloween only comes once a year.”

Well, if she truly did get the hair extensions last Monday, then she got about four or five days of anonymity.

Miley Cyrus is to star in a remake of French film ‘LOL: Laughing Out Loud’. Sounds deep. 🙂

The 17-year-old actress has already been cast in the movie and is rumored to be appearing alongside Demi Moore.

The original film – which starred former Bond girl Sophie Marceau -tells the story of a mother and daughter struggling to maintain their relationship following a marriage breakdown.

Sound interesting to you? I think many teens will be able to relate to the plot. And Miley always puts on a good show. Might be one to watch.

Matthew McConaughey and his girlfriend, Camila Alves, celebrated her 28th birthday with friends at BeauRivage Restaurant last night in Malibu. The small group dined on Mediterranean food and wine in a private room filled with festive decorations.

I love how Matty took the balloons back. The restaurant is just going to throw them away right?!

Nicole Kidman has donated $250,000 to Haiti.

The actress was one of five actors to promise the Caribbean island $50,000-a-year over the next five years to help the people of Haiti rebuild their lives. Who else made the pledge?

Penelope Cruz, Javier Bardem, Gerard Butler, and Daniel Craig.

The money will go to the Artists for Peace and Justice’s Haiti relief fund.

The donations were made during a fund-raising bash held by filmmaker Paul Haggis – who also founded the charity.

Paul – who worked on ‘Terminator Salvation’, ‘Quantum of Solace’ and ‘Casino Royale’ – has pledged to spend every penny donated on emergency relief and on the purchase of much-needed medical supplies.

How wonderful!!

Britney Spears and Jason Trawick were snapped heading into LAX to catch a flight today. Perhaps she’s taking some time to vacation and rest up after all the touring she did?

Britney just updated the “BS Alert” section of her website. She continually shoots down the false headlines of the tabloids. Another round of BS stories was stamped out today. Among the false headlines: Britney Feels Trapped, Britney On The Brink and Britney Blows Up.

Do you think it helps to squash the rumors that she’s posting them, calling them on their false information?

Well, wasn’t that the party to be invited to for the week? Earlier this morning, I posted pictures of Nicole Richie and Nicky Hilton meeting up at Madeos to have a girl’s night out with several of their friends. Turns out that Rachel Zoe was also in the mix. Here she is arriving to the restaurant wearing thigh high boots and Chanel. Naturally.

So nice to see the girls are all friends again!

They are together – in public!!! How wonderful for us as this is truly a rarity. Check out this shot of Ben Affleck meeting up with his wife Jennifer Garner in Los Angeles. The two looked very happy to be with one another – just look at her smile.

Looks like their children were being tended to by a nanny or family member and these two actually got some alone time in this week. Parents of very young children can really appreciate the feeling right!?
