Elton John spoke with BBC Radio this week and told them that he will be performing at Prince Williams’ Wedding in some type of capacity. He told the station that he will “probably” perform, but then quickly joked “I’ll probably be outside busking.”
Okay so his response to BBC Radio wasn’t a resounding yes, but given that he performed at Princess Diana’s funeral and that he’s a long time friend of the crown, there’s a good chance he’ll sing something at the ceremony.
In the meantime Kate and William are busy planning their wedding, with official invitations for the April 29 ceremony expected to go out soon.
So will Sir Elton John perform. A spokeswoman tells PEOPLE:
“It is all speculation” and “Nothing has been determined. We are still in discussions. They are only now sitting down and starting to think about things.”
Our guess is that we won’t know much until the wedding date draws closer, after all the British Royal Family are famously known for their extreme privacy during personal matters.

It looks like J. Lo, Danity Kane, Mary J. Blige and various other artists looking for their next big hit will have to look elsewhere. Wynter Gordon the hit making song writer behind those and other stars hits has announced that she’s exiting the third party song writing game for a while so she can focus on her own career.
According to PopEater:
After bringing Atlantic Records executives to tears during her showcase, Wynter is finally taking center stage and putting the finishing touches on her debut album, ‘With the Music I Die,’ due out in 2011.
Some of Gordon’s song writing credits include four songs for Jennifer Lopez: What Is Love”, “What Is Love Part II”, “Starting Over” and “Everybodys Girl”, a collaboration with Flo Rida on his hit “Sugar” which she co-wrote and several Danity Kane songs: “2 of You” and “Do Me Good” among others.
Are you excited for Wynter Gordon to release her first solo project? I’m not a fan of her genre, but it’s always nice to see musicians who can write and perform their own music.

Jessica Simpson’s fiancé Eric Johnson gave her three-stone ruby engagement ring, but he didn’t take her out to a fancy meal or plan a get away to give her the stone, instead he hid the ring inside a pair of shoes and then had her pause the show Parenthood so he could propose to her.
Simpson told SIRIUS XM‘s The Morning Mash Up:
“He had the ring in his shoe at my house somewhere,” while adding, “I was like: Why hide it in a shoe? But it worked. I had no idea.”
Johnson proposed on November 11th but not before asking her family’s permission and according to Simpson, somehow her family managed to keep it a secret, even though they are terrible at that sort of thing:
“He had talked to my mom and dad and my sister three weeks before he asked me,” she says. “I can’t believe all the Simpsons kept a secret.”
Simpson has had an exciting few months, an engagement, her Happy Christmas CD and now she says her music “is my number two priority, next to love.”
Remember the last time love was her number one priority?
