Anyone hoping that Katie Price and Simon Cowell would take their rumored-fling and make it into something more are going to be disappointed, because it appears that the UK glamour model/reality fixture has become engaged for the third time…to her Argentinian model boyfriend, Leandro Penna!

The pair were spotted out and about in London this past week, with Jordan wearing a massive pink engagement ring, and her spokesman confirms:

“It’s true — they are engaged. Leandro proposed to Katie while they were away skiing recently — and she said yes. They told her children but had intended to keep it secret for a while. No wedding arrangements have been made and they are both quite relaxed about that for the time being.”

Well of course no arrangements have been made – she still isn’t completely divorced from her second husband, Alex Reid!

But hey! If they’re happy – and don’t mind exchanging vows with translators – then who are we to judge?

Any by that we mean he can’t stop using you to garner a little attention for himself.

It’s been two years since his divorce from Katie Price, yet the memory of Peter Andre’s marriage to her haunts his memories still. Peter was a guest on Piers Morgan’s Life Stories this weekend, and he opened up about how their relationship has scarred him for life.

He explained:

“I think that’s what hurts the most about what went wrong a few years ago. Because I’d just come from the worst place in my life. I’m not blaming anybody, but when I finally found happiness (with Price), it was the first time I’d felt good. I felt good about everything. I think that’s probably why I’ve never been able to (move on)… I’ve moved on in leaps and bounds in one way but in another way I’m still a bit tortured inside.”

Yes, breakups can be difficult.

But c’mon! Time to move on! This tortured soul bit isn’t really going to get you anywhere. Let’s try a different angle to get your career started again, okay?

I’m all for young love. But not when it makes cute little pop stars act like cougars on the prowl. Which is exactly what it’s doing to Taylor Swift. And it’s creeping me out.

22-year-old Taylor has been publicly romancing/obsessing over 18-year-old Conor Kennedy for months. Their relationship always seemed a bit strange, considering the fact that Conor still needs to be signed in and out of his dorm. Because he’s in high school. I was willing to give Taylor the benefit of the doubt, though, and not judge her for dating someone who’s still studying for his SATs. Then I read the most recent reports surrounding Taylor Swift’s plans for Conor, which include marriage and fatherhood, ASAP. And now I’m totally judging her.

As someone who seems to take break ups really hard (and then turn them into hit singles), I would expect Taylor Swift to behave a little more . . . tastefully? With a bit more tact, perhaps? Saying you want to be married before the end of the year is okay when you’ve been dating someone for years, at which point I would assume you’ve both successfully completed high school. But when your boyfriend still has a prom in his future? Not the best thing to put out there.

Frankly, I don’t know any 18-year-old boy that gets excited by the idea of being married with children before graduation. At this point, I’m a little shocked that the Kennedy kid is still sticking around. And if you want to keep it that way, Taylor, I suggest you cool it with the stalk-y house purchases, no more crashing weddings, and definitely don’t tell him you want to have his babies! If you really want a future with your student–boyfriend, you should take the whole obsessive thing down a notch. Or 10.

Or, maybe Taylor is displaying such over the top behavior because she just wants to be a little more country and a little less pop? I mean, what cold be more country than marrying your “high school sweetheart” and then having lots of his babies? But if that’s what you’re trying to do, Taylor, then my advice is: set your sights on someone who isn’t a Kennedy.

With Beyonce cheering him on, Jay-Z opened the new Barclays Center arena in his native Brooklyn on Friday.

The rapper celebrated the big night with a nearly two-hour concert featuring hits like “Empire State of Mind,” “99 Problems,” “Hard Knock Life” and “Run This Town.”

Throughout the evening, Jay-Z, who grew up in the nearby Marcy Projects and has always referenced Brooklyn as a core part of his identity, told the crowd how special the moment was for him.

“I’ve been on many stages, been all around the world,” said the superstar. “Nothing feels like tonight.”

Jay-Z is a partial owner of the NBA’s Nets, who have left New Jersey to play in Brooklyn’s new venue.

He’s slated to perform seven more shows to christen Barclays Center.
