Dr. Phil did NOT ask Josh Duggar and his dad Jim Bob to take a lie detector test, despite a report that hit the web this weekend. A rep for the “Dr. Phil” show tells Gossip Cop the story is entirely “false.”

On Saturday, RadarOnline blared, “Tell The Truth! Dr. Phil Challenges Josh Duggar & Jim Bob To Televised Polygraph Test About Molestations — Will They Accept?” In the accompanying article, the webloid alleged Dr. Phil wanted the “admitted child molester and his ’19 Kids & Counting’ dad to take a lie detector test on his daytime talk show.”

“Even though the ‘Dr. Phil’ show is on hiatus, a formal offer was extended to Josh Duggar and Jim Bob, to be guests on the program,” a so-called “show insider” claimed to RadarOnline. “Producers want Josh and Jim Bob to take lie detector tests about the girls he molested as a teenager.” The site went on to allege that Dr. Phil’s “line of questioning would involve the “identity of the victims,” and quoted its supposed source as saying, “Dr. Phil also wants to know if Josh has committed any other acts since he was sent away for counseling.”

But RadarOnline’s “show insider” is either misinformed or made up, because no “formal offer” was ever “extended” to the Duggars. In a statement furnished to Gossip Cop, a spokesman for “Dr. Phil” says, “There is absolutely no truth to the story whatsoever and is completely fabricated by RadarOnline.” Fans eager to hear from Jim Bob will have to wait for Wednesday’s “Kelly File” on Fox News, during which Megyn Kelly will interview him and wife Michelle. What tragic and devastating news.

On Saturday, Beau Biden, the son of Vice President Joe Biden, passed away from brain cancer at the young age of 46.

Beau, and Iraq war veteran and who served as the attorney general for Maryland, leaves behind a wife and two young children.

Joe released the following statement regarding his son’s untimely passing:

“It is with broken hearts that Hallie, Hunter, Ashley, Jill and I announce the passing of our husband, brother and son, Beau, after he battled brain cancer with the same integrity, courage and strength he demonstrated every day of his life. The entire Biden family is saddened beyond words. We know that Beau’s spirit will live on in all of us—especially through his brave wife, Hallie, and two remarkable children, Natalie and Hunter. Beau’s life was defined by service to others. As a young lawyer, he worked to establish the rule of law in war-torn Kosovo. A major in the Delaware National Guard, he was an Iraq War veteran and was awarded the Bronze Star. As Delaware’s Attorney General, he fought for the powerless and made it his mission to protect children from abuse. More than his professional accomplishments, Beau measured himself as a husband, father, son and brother. His absolute honor made him a role model for our family. Beau embodied my father’s saying that a parent knows success when his child turns out better than he did. In the words of the Biden family: Beau Biden was, quite simply, the finest man any of us have ever known.”

How heartbreaking. It’s clear Beau’s family loved him beyond words.

President Barack Obama also added his condolences, saying:

“Beau Biden believed the best of us all. For him, and for his family, we swing our lanterns higher. Michelle and I humbly pray for the good Lord to watch over Beau Biden, and to protect & comfort his family.”

Considering Joe already lost his first wife and only daughter in a tragic car accident in 1972, we can’t imagine how feels right now.

Our hearts go out to Beau’s family and friends during this difficult time.

Adam Levine gets butt naked in the music video for Maroon 5’s new song, “This Summer’s Gonna Hurt Like A Motherf*cker,” which was released Saturday night. The black-and-white video starts with Levine getting out of a shower and baring his bare behind before getting dressed for a performance. Watch the video below.

The video for “This Summer’s Gonna Hurt Like A Motherf*cker,” co-directed by Levine, is pretty amazing in that it was all shot in one take. It begins with Levine coming out of a shower and then throwing on the clothes in which he’ll perform. He then makes his way through the underbelly of Wembley Arena in London, doing a number of concert rituals, including low-fiving a member of his road crew and huddling up with his band. Levine continues on until he gets to a ladder that leads to the stage.

As he psychs himself up, Levine takes a mic, puts in his earpieces, and hops onstage, where we see the other members of the band and the crowd at Wembley going wild. Once onstage, Levine dances along a runway that takes him into the crowd while still singing “This Summer’s Gonna Hurt Like A Motherf*cker.” After he finishes the song, the camera still follows him backstage and into a waiting van that drives him and other Maroon 5 members away.

Incredibly, the music video was only shot two days before its release. Check out the video below of Adam Levine first getting butt naked and then taking viewers in one uncut take through a stage performance of “This Summer’s Gonna Hurt Like A Motherf*cker.”

Courteney Cox is not having her ex-husband David Arquette “give her away,” despite a new inaccurate report that was widely spread. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this claim. Cox’s rep tells us it’s completely untrue.

According to a story that was first published in the magazine Closer, and then spread by publications like the Belfast Telegraph, Cox wants Arquette to walk her down the aisle when she exchanges vows with Snow Patrol rocker Johnny McDaid. A so-called “insider” for the tabloid magazine is quoted as saying, “[Cox’s] father passed away in 2001 and she’s been telling friends it feels natural for David to ‘give her away’ given how close they are and how happy they’ve been for each other to move on.”

In addition to oddly saying in normal conversation how the actress’ dad died “in 2001,” the magazine’s supposed “insider” further says that Cox’s daughter “Coco wants to be involved in the wedding, and Courteney knew how thrilled she’d be to have her dad playing such a big part.” The  suspect “source” adds, “Johnny found [Cox and Arquette’s] friendship odd at first, but Courteney gave him a list of heartfelt reasons why she wanted him to walk her down the aisle, and now he has a deeper understanding of their relationship.”

This is all very heartwarming, but it’s entirely made up. Arquette is NOT giving Cox away at her wedding to Johnny McDaid. Cox’s rep exclusively tells Gossip Cop, “It’s not true at all.”

Kelly Clarkson is out with another new music video, y’all!

The Since U Been Gone singer – who’s tallied nearly one hundred number ones on the Billboard Music charts – is at it again with Invincible, the video for her new single off the album Piece by Piece.

In the vid released to YouTube, Clarkson belts it out amongst floating white boxes, and as the song progresses, those boxes crack and break to reveal… well… you’ll just have to see it to find out!

Rita Ora just had herself another hater: A$ AP Rocky.

One particular song on the rapper’s new album, At.Long.Last.A$ AP, caught everyone’s attention, “Better Things,” and it seems to talk trash ’bout the songstress.

“I swear that bitch Rita Ora got a big mouth/ Next time I see her might curse the bitch out/ Kicked the bitch out once ’cause she bitched out/ Spit my kids out, jizzed up all in her mouth and made the bitch bounce,” he raps.

He then continues to diss her in a recent radio interview with Annie Mac on  BBC Radio 1, “To all the Rita Ora fans and to Rita Ora herself, keep going, you’re still beautiful baby girl, but next time – keep your mouth shut and I’ll do the same.’
