David Beckham can’t stop showing his love for his children with tattoos!

Just weeks after getting inked with four-year-old Harper‘s name on his neck, the dad of four has gotten another brand on the other side of his neck — this time for his first born and eldest son Brooklyn Beckham!

David wrote:

“I’ve always called Brooklyn ( Buster ) since the day he was born…. Love you Bust @brooklynbeckham”

Aww! We just teared up a bit!

The Grammy winning singer just singed with online education company MasterClass to teach a course focused on — what else — singing!

MasterClass is a virtual education platform which makes it possible for aspiring performers or athletes to learn directly from the world’s best! The company currently offers courses from Dustin Hoffman (acting), Serena Williams (tennis), and James Patterson (writing)!

Miley spoke from backstage, covering herself only with the curtain — which resulted in a nip slip on live TV!

Then with the help of 30 drag queens and The Flaming Lips, Miley finished the show with a bang!

Justin Bieber performed “What Do You Mean?” at Sunday’s 2015 MTV Video Music Awards, the first live performance of his new song. He broke down crying at the end. Watch below!

As Gossip Cop has reported, “What Do You Mean?” premiered on Friday, and broke the record for the fastest song to hit number one on iTunes. The track is Bieber’s first solo single in years, and the lead song for his upcoming album, which will be released in November. All of that made the VMAs the setting of his most important gig in a long time.

Rehearsal photos had indicated that Bieber would be joined by male and female backup dancers dressed in all white, as Gossip Cop previously reported, with performance basked in flashing lights. When it came time for the real deal approximately one hour into the ceremony, Bieber actually began with “Where Are U Now.”

He then segued into “What Do You Mean?” and did a voiceover midway through, talking about his journey, and the mistakes he’s made. He was then lifted into the air, and when he came down and the song ended, the superstar burst into tears. It seems the emotional moment of Bieber’s big comeback really got to him.

And Bieber’s big night is set to continue. Around 11 p.m. Eastern, the music video for “What Do You Mean?” will debut via Vevo. The clip co-stars Xenia Deli and John Leguizamo. Gossip Cop, of course, will have it posted as soon as it’s out. In the meantime, check out a clip of the “What Do You Mean” performance below.

Another victory for progress!

The University of Texas in Austin removed a statue of Jefferson Davis, the former president of the Confederacy during the American Civil War.

In a statement made in a letter to students and faculty, UT president Greg Fenves said:

“While every historical figure leaves a mixed legacy, I believe Jefferson Davis is in a separate category, and that it is not in the university’s best interest to continue commemorating him on our main mall.”

Davis’ statue will be taken down from the public outdoor space upon which it sits, and be moved into the Briscoe Center for American History on the university’s campus.

The removal — which took place Saturday — comes after a court ruling against the Sons of Confederate Veterans, a group that was working to ensure that Davis’ statue remained on public grounds at the university.

The group has vowed that they will keep fighting, though, with their lawyer Kirk Lyons saying:

“What has happened was a cultural atrocity—this is a discretion [sic.] of art… Hiroshima is coming. Greg Fenves will rue the day.”

Whatever you say, Mr. Lyons.

Either way, great to see that progress continues on places like college campuses!

Taylor Swift had Avril Lavigne as her special guest on Saturday’s 1989 concert at Petco Park in San Diego, and the two music stars sang the latter hit “Complicated.” Watch the video below.

Swift introduced Lavigne by saying, “She’s one of my favorite artists, and we’ve been texting all week. Today, I got to meet here. Please make some noise. Avril Lavigne is here!” And with that, the two launched into “Complicated.” Swift and Lavigne sang the song as they strutted up the runway and, at times, had their arms around each other as fireworks blasted off behind them.

After the show, Lavigne posted on Instagram, “@taylorswift …… She is a Doll. Thank you Taylor for having me up on stage and thank you San Diego #Complicated #Grateful.” She also tweeted, “Such a Pleasure to perform ‘Complicated’ tonight with @taylorswift on her #1989 world tour! She ROCKS.” For her part, Swift tweeted later, “So incredible sharing the stage with @AvrilLavigne! ‘Complicated’ is such a brilliant pop song and I just love her.”

Earlier last week, there seemed to be a misunderstanding that tied together Lavigne and Swift. After Swift supposedly “liked” a Tumblr post that showed photos of how she gets up and close with her fans, contrasted with pictures of Lavigne and other singers who were snapped standing at awkward distances from theirs, Lavigne tweeted, “Comparison is judging and judging a person does not define who they are it defines who you are. We all Love our fans.” Lavigne added in another tweet that featured a collage of her closely interacting with fans, “So let’s keep it all about the love and stay positive.” It should be noted, though, that Swift never directly shaded Lavigne or even commented on the comparison.

Obviously, there was no bad blood between the two women because they happily performed Lavigne’s “Complicated” on Saturday night in San Diego. Check out the video below of Swift and Lavigne.

What happens when Miley Cyrus hears honest opinions about her?

The question probably tinkered on Jimmy Kimmel‘s mind when he sent Miley to the streets of Los Angeles to ask questions about herself… but dressed as an Australian reporter named “Janet!”

“I think she’s starving for attention and that’s why she’s doing it all crazy like that. She’s missing something somewhere,” an interviewee says.

Miley also talked to another man who told her that she has no problems with her, but prefers Taylor Swift. Ouch!

“I think she lost her mind in the Hollywood madness,” a woman says.

Good thing there were two eager teenagers who related positively with Miley and her song, “We Can’t Stop.” They even twerked with “Janet!”

She can’t please anyone, but she definitely is a sport.

Next to the Grammys, the MTV Video Music Awards are considered music’s biggest night, and a number of top performers will be taking the stage at Sunday’s 2015 VMAs.

Nicki Minaj, who infamously had a wardrobe malfunction while performing at last year’s ceremony, will be opening the show. The rapper is the only one to have their time slot specifically revealed, so fans of Justin Bieber, Demi Lovato, and Pharrell will have to stay tuned to the tube. Bieber’s performance will mark the first time he sings his new single “What Do You Mean?” live.

Close friend Tori Kelly will also be hitting the stage, as will The Weeknd, giving the first television performance of “Can’t Feel My Face.” Macklemore, joined as always by Ryan Lewis, is expected to do their new song, “Downtown.” Most surprising may be the collaboration between A$ AP Rocky with Twenty One Pilots, though there’s speculation host Miley Cyrus might have her own unexpected musical bit, too.

Of course, there will also be performances before the ceremony officially kicks off. Walk The Moon is slated to perform “Shut Up And Dance” during the pre-show, while Nick Jonas will not only be singing “Levels,” but he’ll also premiere the track’s music video.
