T.I. could be facing serious prison time.

Federal officials are reportedly “in the process” of deciding whether to revoke the rapper’s probation after he was booked on drug charges in Los Angeles late on Wednesday.

The performer was released from prison last December. He had pleaded guilty to federal weapons charges after being caught receiving multiple machine guns and silencers.

If officials determine that he violated the terms of his probation, T.I. could be incarcerated for a much longer period.

T.I. (whose real name is Clifford Harris) was arrested with his wife Tameka Cottle (also known as Tiny) on Wednesday after a Sunset Boulevard traffic violation turned into a narcotics investigation.

Officers charged them with felony possession of a controlled substance.

United States Attorney Sally Quillian Yates tells TMZ that the probation office “will make a recommendation regarding Mr. Harris when they have all the facts.”

TV viewers might soon have trouble sleeping.

The team behind Paranormal Activity, the movie that came from nowhere to earn nearly $200 million last fall, is developing a similarly styled show for primetime television.

“The River” will follow the “found footage” horror model that spooked audiences with The Blair Witch Project and Paranormal Activity.

Reportedly, the story concerns the search for a famed adventurer by his friends and crew after his mysterious disappearance in the Amazon.

Meanwhile, the sequel to Paranormal Activity is due to hit theaters in October.

When poor interviewing by paparazzi combines with poor analysis fromHollywoodLife, it’s sure to be a treat!

On Thursday the site posted a video clip of Miley Cyrus being peppered with questions as she makes her way through JFK airport in New York. The paparazzo asks the pop princess about her split with Liam Hemsworth and adds, “You look happy.”

Smiling, Cyrusreplies, “What’s there not to be happy about? I’m breathing.”

If you watch the video, it’s apparent that Cyrus means she’s grateful to have the life she does, grateful to be in good health, etc. She’s alive and happy.

If anything, she’s downplaying the drama of her recent breakup and putting it into perspective.

HollywoodLife has little use for perspective.

According to the site, Cyrus “disses” Hemsworth.

“Miley Is Totally Over Liam!” shrieks the headline.

“Says Of Their Break-Up: ‘What’s There Not To Be Happy About?’”

Wait, what?

Um, no.

She didn’t say, “What’s there not to be happy about?” with regards to the break-up.

Cyrus was responding to the comment that she looked happy.

We know because we actually watched the video.

That is a totally butchered interpretation of what actually transpires. Rather than “moving on,” as HollywoodLife advises Hemsworth to do, the site does its best to gin up controversy where none exists.

In doing so, HollywoodLife reveals itself to be less mature than the teenagers it covers.

Could Bon Jovi be leaving the road for a long stay in the desert?

A rumor everywhere today claims that the blockbuster act has been offered a highly lucrative deal to have a residency at a top Las Vegas hotel.

The story began with the Mirror, an outlet frequently “living on a prayer” with outlandish claims.

So are Jon Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora and the rest of the guys setting up shop in Sin City?

“It’s not true,” a rep for the band tells Gossip Cop.

Like a Vegas magic act, this latest Mirror rumor is bogus.

There’s often an assumption that with fame comes a lack of privacy.

But in a world where stars’ private residences are exposed, and laws have to be drafted to protect celebs fromreckless paparazzi, there’s often a disconnect between “fair game” and “respectful.”

It’s for this reason we winced when we saw one of ETonline.com’s latest photo galleries.

The site boasts, “ET has obtained exclusive photos of Zsa Zsa Gabor on a gurney being rushed to the hospital after she was found unresponsive on Tuesday.”

And sure enough, there are seven pictures posted – which we’re not linking to – of the ailing 93-year-old actress strapped to a gurney and surrounded by her husband and medical personnel.

This is a woman who lived her entire life promoting a glamorous life, putting much value in appearances and luxury.

She is now, sadly, in poor health, and we can only imagine she would never want these photos out (much less taken in the first place).

And while we have friends at “Entertainment Tonight,” and we think it’s a great show, this was an absolutely wrong decision.

There is a report today that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have moved out of their purported “love nest.”

Supposedly, the couple stayed there every now and then when their respective filming schedules permitted.

A real estate agent for the property claims Pattinson and Stewart “are no longer renting the home,”according to E! Online, which also cites a source who says, “It wasn’t as private as they hoped.”

And that’s the real story here.

Whether or not Pattinson and Stewart have left the residence, whether or not they stayed there in the first place, it was not the media’s business to share specifics or photographs.

Gossip Cop made the point last month,when tabloids like Life & Style and outlets like HollywoodLife stooped to revealing pictures of the site even while acknowledging the couple’s well-documented desire for privacy.

Kudos to E! Online for admitting that its own (past) contribution to the feeding frenzy was a mistake and declining to divulge any new information it’s learned about Pattinson and Stewart’s private spots.

If only Life & Style, HollywoodLife and similarly invasive outlets would follow that example.

“EXCLUSIVE! Britney Spears Didnt Hang Out With The Glee Cast At ALL While Shooting Her Episode!” squeals HollywoodLife in yet another exclusively wrong story.

“Even though the Glee cast have been gushing about meeting Britney Spears while she shot an episode of their show,” writes the site, “an on-set source tells us that the pop princess barely had any interaction with the Gleeks at all!”

Let’s get this straight: So the cast has been “gushing,” but HollywoodLife’s source knows that they’re all lying?

Uh, huh…

Adds the ill-informed “insider”: Britney wouldnt talk to any of the actors and demanded a special trailer with a fence around it… because her people didn’t trust her to say something stupid and have it leaked.

Speaking of “stupid,” if HollywoodLife knew anything about the Life of a Hollywood star, they would know cast members all have trailers to hang out in during downtime between scenes.

But more importantly, when they were all on the set, Spears got along great with the “Glee” stars, which is precisely why they’ve been “gushing.”

Once again, HollywoodLife is falsely creating drama, where there is none.

HollywoodLife should take a cue from “Glee,” and start singing a different tune.

George Clooney is set to direct his next movie, Farragut North, a political drama adapted from a play about campaign workers.

But while Paul Giamatti, Chris Pine and Philip Seymour Hoffman have been among thebig names bundled together as done deals for the project, major roles have not been officially set.

Clooney “will direct,” his rep confirms to Gossip Cop, but the casting — including at least one of the names mentioned above — has not beenlocked down.

A rep for Pine tells Gossip Cop it’s “too early” to say whether he’ll play the lead as has been rumored.

Clooney last directed 2008’s Leatherheads.

Does “Mad Men” star Christina Hendricks have a fashion problem?

Yes, according to Scotland’sDaily Record, which explains that while it’s normal for Hollywood actresses to be “given amazing frocks to wear by high-profile designers keen for the free publicity,” Hendricks hasn’t had the same experience because she’s curvy.

“People have been saying some nice, wonderful things about me,” the paper quotes Hendricks as saying. “Yet not one designer in town will loan me a dress.”

She supposedly continues, “They only lend out a size 0 or 2. So I’m still struggling for someone to give me a darn dress.”

There’s just one not-so-small problem: Hendricks never spoke to the Daily Record, according to her rep.

(Not to mention the fact that another source tells us the paper is way off-base with what they claim to be the actress’ measurements.)

And one needn’t look any further than last weekend’s Emmys for proof that the Record’s claim of designer woes isn’t accurate.

“She had plenty of options for dresses,” her rep tells Gossip Cop, “and decided to partner with Zac Posen, who created the gown she wore to the Emmys on Sunday. She loved being able to collaborate with Zac.”

Adds the rep, Hendrick “looked beautiful and felt great the entire night.”

It’s a shame news outlets are trying to take that away from her.

Gossip Cop reached out to the Daily Record for a comment regarding Hendrick’s rep’s contention that the paper never spoke to her, but we haven’t received a response.

Guess they’re not speaking to us either.
