Jenna Dewan Pregnant With Boyfriend’s Baby?

Is Jenna Dewan pregnant with boyfriend Steve Kazee’s baby? That’s the claim in one of this week’s celebrity magazines. Gossip Cop looked into the report, and we’re told it’s not true.

According to the new issue of NW, there are “whispers suggesting the former ‘World Of Dance’ host could be expecting a second child.” The publication then quotes the actress and dancer as saying, “I love the idea of another child… If the desire [for more kids] comes around, it will happen.” After acknowledging those remarks were made before Dewan and Channing Tatum announced they were divorcing, the outlet notes how she now has a “new man” and asks, “Could Jenna finally be ready”?

It bears mentioning the tabloid has no proof whatsoever that Dewan is pregnant with Kazee’s baby. Either the publication wholly made up the premise or perhaps the “whispers” about her expecting a second child were so low the magazine’s staffers heard it wrong. The outlet actually doesn’t even have a source feeding it that information. It appears the magazine is simply speculating based on a photo of her, her 5-year-old daughter Everly, and Kazee taking a walk in Los Angeles.

Near an arrow pointing to a picture of Dewan’s belly while out and about on March 16, the tabloid writes, “Jenna was sporting a rounder stomach than usual as she headed out in L.A. with her man.” That’s not reporting. That’s just guessing about a woman in a flowing dress, at best, and at worst it’s body-shaming. Not surprisingly, the outlet is completely off-base. A mutual friend of Gossip Cop and Dewan’s tells us the magazine’s tale is “ridiculous.”

The tabloids have been wrong before about Dewan being pregnant, as well as her romance with Kazee. Just last month, Gossip Cop busted a story that maintained Dewan and Kazee were ready to get married. In that article, it was alleged she and the Tony-winner were rushing to wed and “have kids.” At the time of that piece, Dewan’s rep mocked, “Does an eye roll count as a comment?”

And four years ago, Gossip Cop corrected one of the magazines when it falsely contended Dewan was pregnant with her and Tatum’s second child. In that phony article, a so-called “source” asserted Dewan was telling people she was “pregnant.” Of course, as we noted then, it wasn’t true.

This time around, NW has nothing to back up its inaccurate narrative. It’s just taking old quotations the actress gave to a magazine and assuming because her dress looked bulky that she may be pregnant. But, as Gossip Cop has said before, the only thing fertile here are the imaginations of the people who work at that tabloid.
