Kristen Stewart Tweets! Or Doesn’t! Tabloids Don’t Care!

When it came to “Twilight” and its stars this week, the tabloid covers were quiet.

Too quiet.

Gossip Cop had serious doubts the weeklies could avoid Forks-ing something up badly just days before “New Moon” opens worldwide. And guess what? Australian OK! couldn’t just stay quiet enough! The mag also satisfied our curiosity about where the tabs get such great insight into Kristen Stewart.

The story titled “Rob & Kristen Reunited!” mostly just sticks old quotations and filler from Stewart and Robert Pattinson’s international publicity tour into a blender. But then, while discussing how “there’s no better place to learn the language of love than Paris,” OK! mentions casually, “‘Hectic week. Need time to relax and rewind,’ Kristen Tweeted.”

Wait – what?

Kristen Stewart is on Twitter?

That’s huge news! And completely fabricated!

As everyone – except OK! – knows, Stewart does NOT use Twitter.

If outlets are going to make up fake Tweets from celebrities to support otherwise redundant, empty stories, Gossip Cop wishes they’d at least invent more interesting ones.
