Former Strictly Come Dancing star Camilla Dallerup has quit I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! after three days. She’d been clearly struggling to cope with the conditions, prompting speculation that she’d be the first out.
Camilla had repeatedly visited the Bush Telegraph to talk about how hard she was finding it all. She repeatedly broke down in tears, she looked frail and her distress was having an effect on the other members of the camp.Â

In last night’s show, Kim Woodburn (How Clean Is Your House?) and Misteeq’s Sabrina Washington tried to comfort Camilla and fed her chocolate. Camilla cried: "I just can’t sleep properly and I can’t think properly. My brain’s not working. It’s only three days in, so what’s going to happen after this? I’m scared because I don’t want to put my health in danger and I can’t think straight."

The shocking departure is expected to be broadcast tonight. Previously, Camilla (whose celebrity supporters include athlete Roger Black, actor Tom Chambers, presenter Gethin Jones, rugby’s Austin Healey and swimmer Matt Foster) had talked about using her dance experience as a way to "team build". In the event, not even her incredible stamina and fitness could help her face the jungle.

Former boxer Joe Bugner is expected to take her place.
