On the day his movie is set to make some serious waves at the box office, Eclipse producer Wyck Godfrey had some interesting things to tell Time magazine.

“Everyone is talking about whatever is going on between Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart,” says his interviewer. “Is that good for business?”

“Do you want the honest answer? I haven’t even thought of it that way,” replies Godfrey.

When the interviewer presses, “That’s not the honest answer,” Godfrey responds in strikingly open language.

“It really is. I honestly don’t think of it in terms of business. It doesn’t affect our core business at all. The thing I do think about is, Oh my God, I hope they stay together. Because it could be awkward on set in the next movie if they have a huge falling out. It’s like, Wow, they have to portray this love story through two more movies. God, I hope they stay together; please stay together. That’s what affects my day-to-day.”

Referring to the publicity questions about their real-life relationship has generated, Godfrey continues, “I don’t feel it’s out there anymore. Do people still report on it? If you look at people who have a stable personal life, the rags get tired of them. I think we’re heading to that place where they are together and that’s their life and we better find someone new to create drama out of.”

“Pink is in talks to become a movie star!” reports Showbiz Spy, which goes on to claim the singer “is among the frontrunners with movie bosses to play violent comic book heroine Tank Girl in a new movie adaptation of the cult comic.” 

According to one of Showbiz Spy’s sources, “Pink is an exciting prospect and her character lends itself to this new version of Tank Girl.”

Uh huh…

However, warns the unnamed source, “It really depends on whether she has the acting talent to play the lead in what is aimed to be a blockbuster franchise.”

Wow.  That would be so cool.

Want to know what would be cooler?

If this story were remotely true.

Pink’s manager – who would know – tells Gossip Cop, “Never heard anything about it.”

The Kardashian sisters are going from reality drama to scripted drama with guest-starring roles on “90210,” Gossip Cop can confirm.

Kim, Khloe and Kourtney will appear as themselves on the CW show’s season three premiere this fall.

It remains to be seen how much cash The Twilight Saga: Eclipse takes in when it opens this week, but fans will have ample opportunity to catch it.

The movie is set to debut on a record 4,416 screens on Wednesday, beating the previous domestic release high of 4,380 (Iron Man 2).

There is no official word on the final number of theaters offering midnight showings.

Zack Taylor, who once (wrongly) claimed to have images from a purported Ke$ha sex tape, is up to his old, dirty tricks.

The blogger has posted shots of a woman stripping in front of a webcam… and implies that it’s current “Bachelorette” Ali Fedotowsky.

Fedotowsky “is the latest celebrity to be allegedly caught in a nude photo scandal!!” crows Taylor, who explains that a “source” tells him Fedotowsky stripped a few years ago for an “unknown guy” who now is looking to sell the shots to a tabloid.

“We cannot confirm or deny that the photo in the middle is of Ali, but I can’t wait to see more if they’re real!!” he says.

Not knowing who is in the photo — or even having an image of her face — sure didn’t stop Taylor from suggesting that it’s Fedotowsky.

He can stop salivating. It’s not her.

A source at ABC tells Gossip Cop the shots of the woman with her back to the camera are not of Fedotowsky.

We’re also told that while Taylor said there’s been “no comment” from Fedotowsky’s “reps” or ABC, the blogger never actually reached out to anyone connected to the show.

Nice try.

Controversial former Miss California Carrie Prejean will marry NFL quarterback Kyle Boller at The Grand Del Mar hotel in San Diego on Friday, according to a report.

Prejean became nationally prominent after answering a question from Perez Hilton on same-sex marriage during the 2009 Miss USA pageant. Her opposition to same-sex marriage (and subsequent lobbying) set off a feud with Hilton, sparked a media and political debate on free speech and civil rights, and initiated a year of personal drama for Prejean.

Among other controversies, Prejean was alleged to have used pageant funds to pay for breast implants, was discovered to have taken nude photos and made a sex tape, was dethroned as Miss California for breach of contract, and accused Larry King of “being inappropriate” during a bizarre interview in the midst of Prejean’s claims that there was a media campaign against her.

The couple became engaged in February after dating since last year.

Liev Schreiber might be going to Tahiti, but it’s the New York Daily News that’s obviously on vacation.

The paper claims the actor planned the island getaway to “contemplate the state of his five-year relationship” with Naomi Watts. According to a Daily News source, while Schreiber and Watts are technically “together,” the couple has “not been getting along lately,” so Schreiber decided to take a break from the “tensions at home.”

Schreiber’s decision to skip a press junket for his upcoming film Salt and head for the tropics with friends — but without Watts or their two children — is spurred by a need to “sort things out mentally,” alleges the source.

When Schreiber’s camp explains to the Daily News that his vacation is a diving trip “and his boys are too young to go,” the paper sneers “Isn’t that what nannies are for?”

To no one’s surprise, Perez Hilton and others pounced on the story as a sign Schreiber and Watts could be “heading toward Splitsville.”

It’s no shock to learn that the Daily News and Hilton are completely off base.

“The nanny comment is just creepy,” a rep for Schreiber tells Gossip Cop, wondering why actors are now condemned for being “hands on parents.”

The rep points out that it’s entirely understandable that an actor who’s been doing a nightly Broadway show for months might want to go on vacation and relax.

She calls the paper’s “ridiculous” claims “frustrating and cheap.”

Maybe it’s time for outlets that print speculation instead of logic to consider taking a break themselves.

Get ready for a star-packed “Entourage” season finale.

Eminem and Christina Aguilera top a star-studded list of guests slated for the September 12 episode, which will also feature Minka Kelly, John Cleese, and Super Bowl MVP Drew Brees.

Both Eminem and Aguilera play themselves, with Aguilera performing at a party as a favor for her “agent,” Ari Gold, played by Jeremy Piven. Series creator Doug Ellin calls the finale “pretty dramatic.”

Athletes Ryan Howard, Jordan Farmar and Kevin Love will also be part of the festivities.

The battle of the famewhores continues!

Jordan Katie Price is apparently up in arms over her ex-husband Peter Andre‘s claims that the who knows what she’s famous for anymore glamour model has banned him from seeing her son Harvey, and is looking to take legal action against him!

Andre has repeatedly stated to the press that Price has refused him visitation until he has a specially qualified nanny present to accomodate Harvey’s special needs.

But Katie herself a source close to Katie says:

‘Kate takes great exception to this continual suggestion that she is stopping Pete seeing Harvey. It is incredibly unfair. The fact is that Pete took forever to organise a suitable nanny who is capable of meeting Harvey’s special needs. There was the ridiculous story about the bruises and then the false stories on the ban on seeing Harvey. Now Katie feels seeking legal advice is her only option.’

Honestly, we don’t really get the problem.

What is he going to be sued over? He’s telling the press she hasn’t let him see Harvey, and she hasn’t!

Obviously, the only solution is for both of them to shut the eff up and stop whoring themselves out for publicity, and that will never happen…so whatevs!
