Is Kylie Jenner being warned to “dump” Kris Jenner as her manager? That’s a rumor circulating in the tabloids. Gossip Cop looked into the claim and can reveal the problems with this story.
As Gossip Cop exclusively reported earlier this month, Kylie is getting her own reality show called “Life Of Kylie.” Kris is an executive producer on the project, just as she is for all the Kardashian-Jenner series. But according to Life & Style, the “pushy momager could destroy” her daughter’s “big chance at TV stardom.” One could argue that Kylie already has TV stardom, becoming a household name precisely thanks to Kris and “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.”
Nonetheless, the gossip magazine maintains Kylie is being urged to “dump Kris” so the matriarch doesn’t make the new show a “stale retread of fake ‘Kardashians’ drama.’” The tabloid actually has a lot of nerve calling out “KUWTK” as “fake” given the fake news it prints every week, including a number of previously articles falsely claiming Kylie was pregnant. Now a so-called “source” claims to the outlet that Kylie envisions a “modern and different” kind of program, but her mom’s involvement “jeopardizes this.”
The publication also asserts another reason “firing Kris may be the smarted move” is because of the controversy surrounding Kendall Jenner’s Pepsi ad. With Kris at the helm, the outlet’s supposed snitch contends Kylie “could easily end up in the same scenario.” Of course, the Kardashian family has weathered a number of scandals over the years, only to emerge more famous than ever. Naturally, the magazine doesn’t give Kris any credit for that, even though she’s the mastermind behind the clan’s empire.
So, will Kylie actually give her momager “the boot”? Unsurprisingly, Life & Style doesn’t go that far. Rather, it’s said the teen is “petrified” of actually firing her mom. That’s a built-in excuse. So when Kylie doesn’t actually part professional ways with Kris, the tabloid can simply say she was just too scared to pull the trigger. Not to mention, we’ve been down this road with this publication before.
In 2015, Gossip Cop busted the outlet for a cover story wrongly claiming the Kardashians, plus Kendall and Kylie, fired Kris as their manager. At the time, we suggested the tabloid fire its obviously ill-informed insiders. The magazine either didn’t take our advice, or simply replaced its old sources with more illegitimate ones. Or these sources are actually non-existent and just made up by the publication.
In any case, Life & Style was off-base nearly two years ago and is still off-base now. Gossip Cop is told by one of our reliable contacts that Kris will remain a producer on “Life Of Kylie,” despite these alleged concerns. While it’s possible Kylie will take on additional advisers as her career grows, there is no dumping of her momager on the immediate horizon.
