On Friday’s episode of “The Graham Norton Show,” celebrity guests Orlando Bloom, Amy Schumer, John Boyega and Goldie Hawn revealed how fame complicates dating. Watch the funny video below!

Star Wars: The Force Awakens actor Boyega first noted that prior to the release of the blockbuster, Bloom had advised him to “try and secure the love of your life” because it’s difficult to navigate the dating world in the public eye. Boyega then recalled going on a date in New York City with a girl who didn’t know he was famous, but when she asked what he did for a living, the actor pointed to a giant Times Square billboard of himself wielding a light saber and said, “That.”

The actor went on to admit the relationship didn’t work out as a result, to which Schumer joked, “Once you see a guy with a huge saber…” Bloom next told a story about being recognized by a female fan in a supermarket shortly after the release of the original Lord of the Rings. “This woman came up behind me and she whispered in my ear, ‘Are you my elf?’” the actor divulged. “And I was like, ‘No, I’m a garden gnome.’”

Schumer was then asked if men started treating her differently when she became famous, but the actress emphatically replied, “No. Honestly, comedy does not lead to d*ck, trust me.” She added, “For women, I don’t think it really helps. And guys are like, ‘I love a funny girl!’ They’re lying. They love to hang with a funny girl, but they’re not like, ‘I can’t wait to hit that.’”

The comedienne presumed her Snatched co-star Hawn had a different experience because she’s a “supermodel that danced her whole life,” but the actress admitted to having also had difficulties in her love life. Hawn revealed she once vomited on a first date when the guy attempted to kiss her, saying, “I literally rolled down the window and threw up. I said, ‘I’m so sorry, but you make me sick.’” Watch the funny video below!

On Thursday’s “Scandal,” the White House was locked down so Olivia and everyone could team up to fight Peus and Ruland. Here are the most important things to know about “Mercy,” the 12th episode of season 6.

The show began the morning after Olivia and Fitz hooked up, with her visiting her father in protective custody. Papa Pope wanted to flee the county, but Fitz warned he was “still a prisoner.” A guilt-ridden Abby lashed out to a clueless Leo as Frankie’s widow called on the White House to honor the people’s vote. Charlie gave Huck the cold shoulder over his closeness with Quinn, and Jake buried Liz in the woods, where David gave a brief eulogy.

Ruland, the scheming woman, reminded Mellie that they’re in charge, and her partner Peus ordered Olivia to get Jake’s resignation so he himself could be vice president. Jake refused, but Olivia warned they’ll kill him otherwise. So, at a press conference, he stepped off the ticket. At the same time, the others orchestrated a scheme that trapped Ruland in a secure White House room with Abby under the guise of a drone threat, controlled by Huck, that required a lockdown. The goal: To end Ruland and Peus’ hold on Mellie and the presidency.

As they all brainstormed how to take them down, Cyrus suggested he instead be nominated as Mellie’s new vice president. Papa Pope was asked for his input, but wouldn’t contribute until Fitz admitted, “We need your help.” Even then, he refused, calling it a “suicide mission.” He and Fitz squabbled, as did Mellie and Cyrus. The president even needed to be held back by Jake, and Rowan suggested he was only getting “mercy” because they all knew the battle was already lost.

Cyrus later confronted him for killing Frankie, and the two threatened to kill one another, but Cyrus backed down. Fitz comforted David over his insecurity for being targeted by Ruland, and Jake accused Olivia of only fighting this hard because she was seemingly back with Fitz. “You know he’s not the answer,” he told her. She in turn called him “jealous,” and said she wasn’t looking to be saved, and had already saved them both. Now Mellie needed to be saved.

Marcus vowed to protect Mellie, and encouraged her not to “give up.” He urged, “You’re a leader. So let us worry about the gun to your head. We need you to do your job.” Amidst this, Ruland accused Abby of lying about why they were locked down. With time running out, Mellie resolved to name her own vice president and extended her hand to Cyrus, who now said he didn’t want it. Olivia said the person would have to be “pure,” “unimpeachable,” and “brave.”

Meanwhile, with Charlie MIA, Huck told Quinn her fiancé thinks they have “feelings” for one another. She later tracked him down and told Charlie that he did see “love” between them, but it wasn’t a love like theirs. Towards the end, with Ruland still locked up despite the lifted lockdown, Mellie seized the opportunity to address the press. She announced her new VP pick: Frankie’s widow, Luna Vargas.

Olivia told Ruland afterward, “I took Mellie back. I am now her chief of staff and you are now our prisoner.” She was then cuffed, with Liv saying, “You can’t take Olivia Pope. Olivia Pope takes you.” Now she and Abby were ready to fight Peus, but a promo for next week suggests devastating consequences.

Harry Styles is getting hit up with some tough questions on his promo tour.

The Sign of the Times singer was recently on French television program Quotidien when he was asked why he won’t personally talk about politics. He replied:

“I don’t really comment on politics. To me, I think anything that brings people together is better than what keeps people apart.”

The One Directioner was then asked why he is so supportive of gay rights and women’s rights when he won’t comment on politics, to which he responded:

“That doesn’t feel like politics. Stuff like equality feels much more like fundamentals. I feel like everyone should be equal. That doesn’t feel like politics to me.”

We think we understand what he means, but in a world where gay rights and women’s rights are constantly on the verge of being eroded, then it does become political.

Harry probably just wanted to dodge that question so it wouldn’t open up the floodgates to even more political questions.

Earlier, the multi-hyphenate was questioned about his album, with the host wondering if it really is about a particular woman as Harry mentioned in his Rolling Stone interview. Harry clarified:

“The album is more about me than it is about anyone else. I put a lot of work in it, so I don’t feel like it revolves around a woman.”

Hmmm…Do you believe him, Perezcious readers???

Not every celebrity couple is shipped!

Just take a look at Anna and Josh Duggar. Fans were SHOCKED when the twosome announced they were expecting their fifth child together, mainly because Mr. Duggar put his wife through TWO different scandals in 2015.

In fact, while the 19 Kids & Counting star was in rehab, reports claimed Miz Duggar was contemplating divorce.

Nonetheless, after a handful of years, the duo are powering through their problems — despite the public’s dismay. Sadly, the Duggars aren’t the only couple the public’s been against.

On Wednesday’s “Empire,” Angelo proposed to Cookie while Giuliana’s past with Lucious was revealed. Here are the most important things to know about “Love Is A Smoke,” the 14th episode of season 3.

The show began with a flashback to Lucious and Giuliana’s relationship and a song he wrote for her called “Crazy, Crazy 4 U.” Their romance happened 15 years ago, while a clueless Cookie was imprisoned. All Lucious told her now was that Gia was “dangerous” and shouldn’t be working with Andre on the Vegas deal. Flashbacks throughout the hour continued to show their relationship, which included Lucious wanting to buy a Vegas club until a married Gia played him, taking $ 10 million.

Cookie told Lucious Angelo was ready to propose, and he said he’d “fall back,” but warned the relationship wouldn’t compare to the one they had. Angelo went to Jamal for a confidence boost, and Jamal promised “Cucious” was over. He also urged his “stepdaddy” to go grand with the proposal. Andre gave Cookie his blessing, though Hakeem was less than thrilled. But when Cookie thought he was going to pop the question, Angelo actually asked her to make a joint TV appearance.

Giuliana wooed Tory for her Vegas club opening, which Andre and Shine were cool with, as long as Lucious wasn’t involved. He later told Cookie he only met Gia “once,” and insisted that his family have nothing to do with her. Andre was determined to move forward, though while Lucious conspired to get Tory back on his side. Shine, however, later lured him to the office, where Gia pulled a gun on him. He emotionally confronted her about her betrayal, and she tearfully said she spent more than a decade in an abusive marriage. “Lucious, I killed my husband for you,” she confessed, saying she could only pay his money back now if he signed off on the Vegas deal.

Amidst all this, Anika went to Tariq while wearing a wiretap as Cookie and Lucious listened in. They thought she “stepped up for us” and deserved “props,” convinced they could get Tariq in trouble. Anika spent the night for the sake of the scheme, but actually turned down most of his advances so he wouldn’t find the wire. Lucious later told Tariq all his actions with Anika were recorded and the FBI was looped in. He told his half-brother to go on the run, and gave him money to do so.

During the TV interview, Angelo proposed on camera. Cookie didn’t actually answer as he slipped a massive ring on her finger. Afterward, she called him out for putting her on the spot and said it was “happening too fast.” He concluded she was still in love with Lucious, prompting her to admit, “I still have feelings for him.” She confessed their recent kiss and he lashed out about the illegal things he’s done for her, unaware that the mic was capturing their private conversation. When he realized, he cried, “My mama was right. Your whole family is poison. All y’all are garbage. Every last one of you.” And mama vowed the Lyons were now “going down.”

Lucious successfully courted Charlotte, the head of the Vegas gaming commission, and told Andre he was out of the deal. Giuliana was impressed, particularly when Tory sang the song Lucious wrote for her. Andre was furious, telling Shine, “Get your men together. We’re gonna take him out.” The show ended with a distraught Cookie seeing Lucious and Gia kiss.

Reese Witherspoon is not “playing matchmaker” for Jennifer Garner, despite a new tabloid report. Gossip Cop can not only correct this claim, but also give insight into the making of this fake news story.

Life & Style alleges in a new article that if “Witherspoon has her way,” her close friend Garner “won’t be single for long.” An individual the magazine refers to as an “insider” is quoted as telling the tabloid, “Reese loves to play matchmaker, and she’s on the hunt to find Jen a new man.” The supposed source adds, “She’s already planning to host dinner parties for Jen just so she can meet potential suitors.”

After noting how Witherspoon married agent Jim Toth, the alleged “insider” says, “Reese advised Jen to go for a guy who works behind the scenes rather than another big star whose ego could get in the way of their relationship.” The publication then name-drops Kate Hudson and Jessica Biel as others who are “rallying around Jen now.” “After a rough few months,” contends the outlet’s questionable source, “Jen is finally seeing that there is life after Ben [Affleck],” from whom she recently filed divorce.

Allow Gossip Cop to explain the background of this speculative and inaccurate tabloid article. First, Garner and Affleck put in their divorce papers on April 13. Then, three days later, Witherspoon and a number of Garner’s other gals pals went out in Malibu to celebrate the newly single star’s 45th birthday, which was the next day. On Garner’s actual birthday, Witherspoon posted a throwback photo of the two of them, along with a sweet message that read, “Happy Birthday to my gorgeous friend #JenniferGarner who always laughs at my jokes and my bad dance moves! Love you!”

So once it was established that Garner is getting divorced, and that she and Witherspoon are super tight, the tabloid spun its story about the “Big Little Lies” star is going to find her friend a new man. As the magazine noted, “Reese loves to play matchmaker.” Glaringly omitted, of course, are the people for whom the actress loved playing matchmaker in the past. Additionally, throwing in a bogus detail like Witherspoon purportedly planning to “host dinner parties” for Garner and her “suitors” doesn’t make the article any more accurate.

And while it’s true the two women are dear friends, Witherspoon is not going into the matchmaking business for Garner. A mutual friend of ours and Witherspoon’s tells Gossip Cop the publication’s story is wrong. A rep for Witherspoon could not be reach for comment.

Matt Lauer has not been “replaced” by Megyn Kelly, contrary to a new tabloid cover story. Gossip Cop can separate the fake news from the real news in this sensational and misleading report.

Before even delving into this latest In Touch cover story, it’s important to note that this is the same tabloid that wrongly claimed in January that Lauer and Kelly were in a feud. Then in February, the gossip magazine falsely alleged Lauer was “dumped” at the “Today” show in favor of Kelly. Both of those were made-up cover stories.

Now here we are in April with the third installment of this untrue saga, which appears to be wholly manufactured by the publication. The headline in the latest edition announces, “Shakeup At The ‘Today Show’: Matt Replaced By Megyn.” As evidence, the magazine points to speculation that Vladimir Putin is being courted for an exclusive sit-down with Kelly. A so-called “network insider” maintains to the outlet that Lauer “would have gotten that interview,” if it weren’t for his new colleague.

“She’s not only replaced him in the interview but as top dog at the network,” contends the magazine’s source. But what’s particularly eyebrow raising is that while other outlets have suggested Kelly could be in line for a Putin interview, the tabloid actually takes its assertion even further, outrageously claiming it would be a “joint” interview with Putin AND President Donald Trump. Say what?!

Despite concerns about Trump maybe having ties to Russia, it’s completely preposterous to allege the president may do a joint sit-down with the leader of an enemy nation. What’s even more absurd, though, is In Touch pretending to have such a scoop. That’s right. None of the established news magazines or respected political reporters and pundits have this. The tabloid that blared in 2014 that Kim Kardashian’s marriage to Kanye West was “over after 58 days” busted wide this supposed bombshell.

With that in mind, it’s hard to take any of the gossip outlet’s specious claims seriously. Despite the tabloid’s dramatic characterization that Kelly’s “in” and Lauer’s “out,” the veteran anchor remains the face of “Today” and, in large part, NBC News. That is not changing. He will continue to nab big interviews, and Kelly will snag some of her own, too. The notion that Lauer has been “replaced,” says an extremely well-placed NBC News insider, is “totally false.” And as for the contention that there will be a joint Putin and Trump interview, and that it will be conducted by Kelly, our impeccable source calls it “laughable.” What’s not laughable is charging people $ 3.99 for fake news and pretending it’s journalism.
