Emilia Clarke commanded two audience members on Monday’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live” to “fight to the death” after the fans of her “Game of Thrones” character interrupted her interview with the talk show host and demanded to fight for Khaleesi’s honor. Naturally, this was all part of a bit, and no audience members were actually injured, though Clarke had instructed one fan to “kill” the other. Watch the funny video below!
The sketch began when a man from the audience stood up and shouted, “I demand to fight for your honor, Khaleesi!” At first, Clarke told Kimmel just to ignore the disruption since that sort of thing “happens quite a lot.” But when another man from the crowd jumped up and accepted the challenge to battle for Khaleesi’s approval, Clarke, who could no longer ignore the disturbance, said, “Yes, you can fight for my honor. Thank you. Go for it.”
After bowing down to Clarke, the two men then took off their shirts and engaged in a sloppy, awkward wrestling match, which Kimmel described as “kind of a slap fight.” After one guy finally managed to pin the other one down, Clarke asked, “Will you kill him now?” The man was confused because he only wanted to fight for her honor, not commit a homicide, but Clarke (now channeling her Khaleesi character) shouted, “I now command you to kill him!”
The bit ended with Kimmel suggesting the audience member kill the other “Game of Thrones” enthusiast outside, so he could finish up interviewing Clarke, who was actually on to promote her role in the upcoming Terminator Genisys. Speaking of comebacks, Janet Jackson had a better one. *wink*
During the 2015 BET Awards last Sunday night, the queen just made her grand return to the stage when she was bestowed with the “Ultimate Icon Music Dance Visual Award!”
“It’s been a very long journey. My heart is so full. Thank you God for making everything possible. I am so grateful for the support you’ve always given me,” she says.
Though we weren’t treated to any performance (from her), contemporary music superstars Tinashe, Jason Derulo, and Ciara gave a “rhythmic” tribute to her most famous choreographies.
Of course, that’s just the start, as Janet recently gave us a taste of what’s to come through her sexy new single, “No Sleeep.”

Katy Perry in a fight with nuns?! Say it ain’t so!
Crazily enough, it’s true. The pop star is currently in the midst of a real estate legal battle over a former convent located in the hills of Los Feliz in Los Angeles.
Katy and restaurateur Dana Hollister BOTH want the villa-style, multi-acre former convent for themselves, but there’s some issue with who legally owns the property.
Archbishop Jose Gomez insists the property belongs to the archdiocese, while the five remaining Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (who used to reside there) say it’s theirs.
In fact, about two weeks ago, the sisters signed the property over to Hollister for $ 15.5 million, while the archdiocese was still finalizing its deal with Katy, who offered to pay $ 14.5 million in CASH for the convent.
But the pop singer might still be able to claim the convent as her own if it is determined that Archbishop Gomez is the true legal owner.
Apparently the nuns, particularly Sister Rita Callanan, don’t really want the convent to be sold to Katy, even though the 30-year-old sang Oh Happy Day and showed them her Jesus tattoo during a visit in May.
Sister Rita even looked the singer up online:
“Well, I found Katy Perry and I found her videos and … if it’s all right to say, I wasn’t happy with any of it.”
Sister Rita was also perplexed by videos of Katy’s Super Bowl performance in February:
“I thought, is that a way to make money? Maybe I could fly around. I could be the flying nun.”
HA!!!
But Katy Perry aside, it’s clear that the five sisters have bigger issues with the archdiocese. Sister Rita said:
“We have given many years to this archdiocese and we have served them well. For the archdiocese to … put us under a bus and run over us, I’m sorry, it was just too much for me.”
It’s up to the lawyers and courts to figure out whether Katy Perry or Dana Hollister will get to sign their name to the deed, though Ms. Hollister has already moved in.

The 2015 BET Awards are on Sunday, and over the course of the live broadcast from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, 22 winners will be announced from the fields of music, sports, and acting. Leading with the most nominations are Nicki Minaj and Chris Brown, who both have six nods. Right behind then are Lil Wayne and Beyonce, who each have four nominations. Gossip Cop has a full list of winners below.
The awards are being hosted by Anthony Anderson and Tracee Ellis Ross, who are both up for acting awards. Anderson is competing against Indrid Elba, Kevin Hart, Terrence Howard, and Jussie Smollett, while Ross is facing off with Viola Davis, Taraji P. Henson, Gabrielle Union, and Kerry Washington. The Best Movie nominees are Annie, Beyond The Lights, Selma, Think Like A Man Too, and Top Five. And vying for Sportsman of the Year are Stephen Curry, LeBron James, Marshawn Lynch, Floyd Mayweather, and Chris Paul.
In addition to those competing for awards, Smokey Robinson will be given the Lifetime Achievement Award, Tom Joyner will receive the Humanitarian Award, and Janet Jackson’s getting the first-ever Ultimate Icon Music Dance Visual Award.
There will also be a number of performances at the BET Awards by, among others, Robinson, Brown, Minaj and the “Empire” cast. Who do you want to win? Gossip Cop will have the full list of winners as soon as the show begins at 8 p.m. EST.
