Rihanna ‘Not Done Yet’ With Chris Brown?

(Getty Images)

Is Rihanna “not done yet” with Chris Brown? That was the claim from an unreliable website exactly one year ago today. Gossip Cop said at the time that the report was untrue, and it remains false 12 months later.

On February 28, 2018, HollywoodLife asserted that Rihanna wanted to “make peace” with her ex-boyfriend. The blog, which has earned the nickname HollywoodLies thanks to its plethora of wrong reporting, tried to make its article seem plausible by contending it had an “insider,” who supposedly told the outlet that Rihanna was “thinking about meeting up with Chris for dinner.” The same anonymous and untraceable tipster added how Rihanna was “not done yet” with the rapper, who went to jail after beating her, because she allegedly had “some unfinished business” with him.

googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display(‘div-gpt-ad-1526939461036-0’); });

As Gossip Cop noted 365 days ago, the Barbadian singer has been very much finished with Brown. In fact, a few years ago Rihanna told Vanity Fair for a cover story while in Cuba that she and Brown are “not friends.” “We don’t have much of a relationship now,” she further offered.

Gossip Cop will take Rihanna’s own word over HollywoodLies’ unidentifiable and seemingly fabricated sources. It also bears mentioning that just one week before the often discredited website said Rihanna wanted to get together with Brown, it published an article stating the complete opposite. On February 20, the blog’s same anonymous and almost assuredly made-up “insider” contended Rihanna was “tired of the whole Chris Brown thing.”

So, one week Rihanna’s done talking about Brown and then the following week she’s “not done yet” with him? Basically, HollywoodLies concocts a lot of phony tales about the exes, many of which are contradictory. And that’s because the site’s sources, if they even exist, have no particular insight about the two singers.

In the intervening months since the blog posted its provably wrong article, Rihanna and Brown have remained “done” and have never met up for dinner. Instead, she’s been focused on boyfriend Hassan Jameel since 2017. Just one week ago, Rihanna took Jameel to a Lakers game. It’s worth noting, however, that HollywoodLies also knows very little about the singer’s current relationship.

Last June, Gossip Cop busted the blog for falsely claiming Rihanna and Jameel had split. The website inaccurately maintained the singer dumped the Saudi billionaire because she “just got tired of him.” As time has proven, they’re still a couple. We look back at stories from a year ago to show which outlets can and can’t be trusted. In the case of HollywoodLife, its story from last year about Rihanna reuniting with Brown tells you what you need to know.

Jenna Dewan, Boyfriend Steve Kazee Ready To Get Married?

Jenna Dewan Steve Kazee

(Getty Images)

Are Jenna Dewan and her boyfriend Steve Kazee ready to get married? That’s the claim in one of this week’s tabloids. Gossip Cop, however, can exclusively correct this inaccurate report.

According to In Touch, Kazee wants to wed the actress and start a family with her. To make it appear as if it has insight, the magazine alleges a “friend of Jenna’s” told the publication, “They definitely have moved into the serious stage of their relationship,” and there’s already wedding talk. The same supposed source adds, “He wants to marry her and have kids. I’d say that’s pretty serious.”

googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display(‘div-gpt-ad-1526939461036-0’); });

While it’s true Dewan and Kazee, who won Tony and a Grammy awards for his performance on Broadway in Once, are in a committed relationship, they aren’t quite ready to walk down the aisle. It also bears mentioning that it’s rather odd the magazine claims its information came from a “friend of Jenna’s,” and yet the anonymous and possibly fabricated tipster knows what’s going on in Kazee’s mind. Regardless of that typical tabloid flub, Gossip Cop checked in with Dewan’s rep who exclusively shot down the story by telling us, “Does an eye roll count as a comment?”

It’s interesting that In Touch is now reporting the actress-dancer is prepared to get married when just a few months ago it (wrongly) maintained Dewan was having a “tough time” moving on from Channing Tatum. When that article was published, the outlet had another one of its nameless and untraceable sources assert Dewan “hates dating.” In reality, Dewan was already dating Kazee.

And a little more than a week before that untrue tale, the tabloid’s sister publication, Star, insisted Dewan and Tatum’s divorce was off and they were getting back together. In that story, once again the outlet contended it had an insider who said Tatum and Dewan were “holding on to their future and see each other in it.” But there was nothing to see, Dewan’s rep said after again rolling his eyes.

It appears the magazine concocted its article right after Valentine’s Day when Kazee posted on Instagram a photo of Dewan, along with a sweet message that read, in part, “Jenna I don’t know what I did to deserve your love but I will always be so thankful that our lives found their way to each other.” Again, as opposed to outlet’s unidentifiable sources, who there’s no proof even exist, Dewan’s rep went on the record to correct the aforementioned stories, as well as the current one about her and Kazee being on the verge of getting married.

Brad Pitt, Jennifer Aniston Vacationed In Cabo After Her Birthday?

Brad Pitt Jennifer Aniston

(OK)

Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston did not vacation together in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico following the actress’s 50th birthday party earlier this month, despite a false report. Gossip Cop can debunk the bogus story. There’s simply no truth to it.

It was widely reported that Aniston jetted off to Cabo with Courteney Cox following her birthday bash, but according to OK!, the actress’s ex-husband was waiting for her when she got there. A supposed source tells the magazine, “Brad wanted his first meeting with Jen after the party to be away from prying eyes, so he came up with this grand plan to whisk her away on a lavish vacation, and orchestrated it with a little help from Courteney.”

googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display(‘div-gpt-ad-1526939461036-0’); });

The alleged insider further contends that Pitt and Aniston “enjoyed couple’s massages, romantic dinners and long talks” during their vacation, and the actress is telling pals he’s “swept her off her feet again. It’s like this is their second chance at love.” The suspicious tipster goes on to assert that at one point during the trip, “Jen told Brad, ‘I never gave up on us,’ and that she always had that glimmer of hope that they’d get back together.”

The so-called “insider” maintains Pitt similarly “poured his heart out” to Aniston during the getaway, telling her “he’s in this for the long haul if she is.” As the story goes, Pitt supposedly gifted his ex-wife with a $ 40,000 Cartier bracelet, and when he slipped it on her wrist, “he told her that she’s his soulmate and that he wants to take care of her forever.” The seemingly fabricated tipster concludes, “He vowed to never break her heart again, and Jen believes him. They absolutely want to make it official, but know they need to take it slow and do it right this time.”

The tabloid’s account of events simply never occurred. Separate spokespeople for both Pitt and Aniston have gone on the record to dismiss the story as fiction. Despite what the outlet’s anonymous “source” claims, reps for both stars confirm they never met up in Cabo following her birthday. In reality, Aniston went on vacation with Cox, as many reliable entertainment outlets have reported. There’s not a single publication other than OK! claiming Pitt was also in Mexico.

Although the ex-spouses are friendly again, they’re not getting back together. It’s worth mentioning, when E! News wrote about Pitt’s attendance at Aniston’s recent birthday party, the outlet made a point of noting, “They definitely aren’t dating or on that path.”

Additionally, Gossip Cop busted OK! last August for publishing a cover story about Pitt and Aniston getting engaged. The following month, we called out the magazine for writing a follow-up story about Pitt and Aniston getting married and having a baby. This latest report makes no mention of any of those made-up milestones. Instead, the tabloid is pretending as if is previous storylines about the exes never existed. This new one involving a Cabo getaway is equally untrue.

Taylor Swift Looked For ‘Embarrassing Secrets’ About Jennifer Lawrence?

Jennifer Lawrence Taylor Swift

(Getty Images)

Did Taylor Swift really look for “embarrassing secrets” about Jennifer Lawrence? That was the claim in a celebrity magazine exactly one year ago today. At the time, Gossip Cop reported the premise was false, and now 365 days later it’s clear that story was completely untrue.

On February 27, 2018, NW published an article that maintained the singer was digging for dirt on the actress after Lawrence asked if Swift and Karlie Kloss were still friends in an interview while promoting her film Red Sparrow. The tabloid asserted Lawrence’s (lighthearted) prying into whether Swift and Kloss had a falling out angered the singer to the point that she wanted to get back at the actress. To lend credence to its report, the outlet alleged it had a “source” who leaked that Swift told Lawrence to “back off.”

googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display(‘div-gpt-ad-1526939461036-0’); });

The same supposed tipster contended Swift was going to gather “embarrassing secrets” about Lawrence and “retaliate.” The anonymous source further claimed Swift felt the actress had her “own baggage” when it came to her “drunk behavior” and “dating life” before she got engaged to Cooke Maroney, and was serious about “getting even” for talking about her in a New For Times interview. The tabloid noted the singer “declared war” on Lawrence, with its insider warning how no one wants to be on the receiving end when Swift “hit back.”

Albeit very dramatic, the tale was entirely inaccurate. One year ago, a Swift confidante assured Gossip Cop the magazine’s story was absurd. Now 12 months later, it’s clear Swift wasn’t looking to expose “embarrassing secrets” about Lawrence, who made an off-the-cuff remark.

The two women are actually longtime friends. Back in 2014, for instance, Lawrence playfully photobombed Swift on the Golden Globes red carpet before the two shared a hug. And just a few months after the bogus story about Swift having “declared war” on Lawrence, the two had another cute moment at the premiere of The Favourite in which the singer’s boyfriend starred. Before the film began, Lawrence playfully “crashed” Swift and Joe Alwyn’s rare night out in public.

In the intervening year since it was claimed Swift wanted to “hit back” at Lawrence, the tabloid hasn’t gotten any more reliable with its reporting about the women. Shortly after that tale, Gossip Cop busted NW when it wrongly insisted Lawrence wanted to date director David O. Russell. We also corrected the magazine when it falsely alleged Swift and Alwyn were engaged.

Gossip Cop looks back on occasion at stories from the previous year in an effort to help visitors figure out which outlets they should or shouldn’t trust. Clearly, that publication failed. In fact, the only thing that has been truly embarrassing are that outlet’s articles about Lawrence and Swift.

Jennifer Aniston Bonding With Brad Pitt’s Mom Again?

Brad Pitt Jennifer Aniston Mom Jane

(Getty Images)

Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt reunited at her 50th birthday party earlier this month, but is the actress also bonding with her ex-husband’s mom, Jane Pitt? That’s the story in one of this week’s tabloids. Gossip Cop, however, can exclusively debunk it.

“Jen & Brad’s Family Reunion” reads a headline in the latest issue of NW. The accompanying article says Aniston has “regained her friendship with Jane” now that she and Pitt are back in touch. “Jane was the kind of caring and trustworthy mom Jen always wanted, but never got from her own mother,” a supposed source tells the magazine. “Jen and Jane shared such a bond, and now Brad’s given them the go-ahead to talk again.”

googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display(‘div-gpt-ad-1526939461036-0’); });

The alleged insider further contends that Pitt forced his mom to cut off all contact with Aniston while he was married to Angelina Jolie, but he’s no longer concerned with how his estranged wife feels, so “Jane and Jen are picking right up where they left off.” The seemingly phony tipster adds, “Jane simply didn’t have the same kind of relationship with Angie… and I think she always secretly hoped Brad and Jen would find their way back to each other.”

The tabloid’s premise is complete fiction. Gossip Cop reached out to a rep for Aniston, who tells us on the record that the magazine’s report is “nonsense.” Despite what the outlet’s anonymous “source” claims, the actress’s spokesperson confirms that Pitt hasn’t encouraged her to reignite a friendship with his mom.

Additionally, this isn’t the first time the magazine has published a phony article surrounding the actor and his mother. Last year, Gossip Cop busted the outlet for making up a story about Pitt’s mom pushing him to “stand up” to Jolie amid their custody battle. It seems the publication has a habit of arbitrarily dragging the movie star’s mom into his personal life.

For further proof that NW isn’t trustworthy, Gossip Cop would like to point out that the outlet spent most of last month coming up with a variety of stories about Pitt dating Charlize Theron. The two stars aren’t in a relationship and never have been. Meanwhile, the magazine wrongly reported in January that Pitt was in a secret romance with Julia Roberts.

The tabloid isn’t any more accurate when it comes to reporting about Aniston. Last year, Gossip Cop called out the magazine for falsely claiming Aniston was secretly dating Leonardo DiCaprio after being introduced to him by Pitt. The outlet’s many different narratives about both stars have more in common with fan fiction than they do with journalism.

Truth About Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie Going On ‘Secret Getaway’ To Finalize Divorce

Brad Pitt Angelina Jolie Divorce

(Getty Images)

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are not going on a “secret getaway” to work out the details of and finalize their divorce, despite a new report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct the story. We’re told it’s entirely untrue.

According to RadarOnline, Jolie and Pitt are planning a “getaway,” where they can privately settle their differences and put an end to their custody battle and divorce. The site, which has published a number of provably false stories about the two, now asserts Jolie and Pitt believe “a change in scenery” will help them get over whatever obstacles they still have blocking their divorce. After noting how they’ve spent a “fortune in legal fees,” the outlet quotes a so-called “source” as saying they feel they have a better shot of being able to “hash things out” in a “relaxed setting outside of L.A.” over the course of a “long weekend.”

googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display(‘div-gpt-ad-1526939461036-0’); });

The alleged insider further claims Jolie and Pitt will not “sort things out alone.” They will have their legal representation accompanying them, adds the purported tipster. Almost bizarrely, the same seemingly fabricated “source” notes how the estranged spouses will have “separate rooms.”

By all accounts, the two have a difficult time even sitting in the same room together. Last month, for example, Pitt and Jolie were photographed having a heated discussion in a lawyer’s office. Why would anyone even think for a second they might share a bedroom again?

Clearly, whoever concocted this phony tale or fed it to outlet is not familiar with how lawyers bill their clients. While the habitually debunked blog notes how Pitt and Jolie have already dropped a “fortune on legal fees,” it maintains they’re going to spend a “long weekend” outside of Los Angeles trying to finalize the divorce. But when lawyers have to travel for business, as they would for this supposed “getaway,” every single minute away, meal, and hotel room is billed back to the clients, meaning it would be much more expensive than them meeting locally.

Notwithstanding how the article’s premise is illogical, Gossip Cop still looked into the claim. We’re told by sources within Pitt and Jolie’s camp that the story is wrong. Curiously, both seem to have alluded that an end is perhaps in sight.

It bears mentioning RadarOnline has posted many untrue stories about Jolie and Pitt, and it’s not necessarily a reliable source when it comes to them. For instance, the site reported Jolie and Pitt were getting back together around Christmas 2017. The outlet alleged then they “haven’t ruled out a full reconciliation.” Of course, that was totally inaccurate.

Gossip Cop also busted the blog when it falsely contended Jolie regretted divorcing Pitt after he had “fallen” for Neri Oxman. Not only didn’t Pitt ever date the MIT professor, but also his estranged wife has been pushing to end their marriage. Actually, Jolie filed papers to finalize the divorce by the end of 2018.

Additionally, the same website posted a couple of articles about how each of them wanted to publicly blast the other. Gossip Cop first corrected the outlet when it incorrectly reported Jolie wanted to do a tell-all TV interview about Pitt. That was followed by an equally bogus tale about Pitt planning to dish about Jolie on Jada Pinkett Smith’s podcast. Those stories were 100 percent wrong, much like the latest one about Jolie and Pitt going on a “secret getaway” to finalize their divorce.

5 Wrong Rumors About Ryan Gosling, Eva Mendes

Ryan Gosling Eva Mendes Rumors

(Getty Images)

Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes’ relationship is frequently the subject of false tabloids stories. Gossip Cop has debunked many bogus stories about the couple. Here are five wrong rumors.

Just last week, Gossip Cop busted Star for falsely claiming the couple was splitting following months of nonstop fighting. Two of the major issues between the pair were said to be the actor’s friendship with his First Man co-star, Claire Foy, and his supposed refusal to have a third child. The magazine further contended that Gosling and Mendes were headed for a custody battle over their two young daughters. Earlier this month, however, Gosling and Mendes were spotted in shopping for flowers on Valentine’s Day, proving they’re still very much together.

googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display(‘div-gpt-ad-1526939461036-0’); });

Last month, Gossip Cop called out NW for wrongly reporting that Gosling and Mendes had been “living separate lives” for more than a year. According to the outlet, the two had nothing in common and hardly spent any time together. But just weeks before the phony story was published, Gosling and Mendes were spotted hiking in Los Angeles with their two kids. And far from “living separate lives” for more than a year, Gosling and Mendes were spotted house hunting in Pasadena last April.

Last June, Gossip Cop debunked an OK! story about the couple expecting twins. The tabloid maintained that the actress was pregnant with a baby boy and girl following a string of IVF treatments. A source close to the couple, who wasn’t able to speak on the record, assured us last year that Mendes wasn’t expecting. Eight months later, it’s clear the actress was never pregnant with one child, let alone two.

Gossip Cop busted the Enquirer in October 2017 for alleging Gosling had dumped Mendes over her so-called “jealous streak and reclusive behavior.” The outlet further contended that the actor had moved out of the Los Angeles home he shares with his girlfriend and their two children. The phony story was poorly-timed. Just days before it emerged, Gosling and Mendes were spotted holding hands at a “Saturday Night Live” afterparty following his gig hosting the sketch show.

And finally, Gossip Cop called out Star in March 2017 for falsely claiming Gosling and Mendes were splitting over the actor’s La La Land co-star Emma Stone. The publication said Mendes was “consumed with jealousy” over her boyfriend’s closeness with his co-star, and it had led to a “blowout fight” that resulted in the actor storming out of their house. This was just one of several bogus articles about Stone supposedly tearing the couple apart. The fictional love triangle only existed in the fantasy world created by the tabloids. Gosling and Mendes are still very much together.

Brad Pitt, Jennifer Aniston Went To Oscars Party Together?

Brad Pitt Jennifer Aniston Oscars Party

(Getty Images)

Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston did not attend an Oscars party together, despite a false report. Gossip Cop can correct the story. It’s simply not true.

Prior to Sunday night’s Academy Awards, New Idea published an article claiming Pitt and Aniston were preparing “to reveal their relationship to the world” following their reunion at her 50th birthday party earlier this month. A supposed source told the magazine the exes were “finally ready to make their new romance official” by attending an Oscars bash as a couple.

googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display(‘div-gpt-ad-1526939461036-0’); });

The alleged insider further contended the ex-spouses have been secretly dating for months and hiding their romance from Angelina Jolie, but “they’re ready to take the big leap and hit the awards circuit together.” “They’re finally putting their foot down against her and want to go public,” added the seemingly phony source. “For the first time, Brad is putting Jen in front of Ange.”

The suspicious tipster went on to say that Aniston was nervous about attending an Oscars party with her ex-husband due to all the “scrutiny” that would follow, but she was ready to come out of hiding and believed showing up together at an Oscars party would be “the perfect opportunity to let the world know that they’re back on track.”

Like many phony tabloid stories, the passage of time has proven this premise to be untrue. Pitt and Aniston didn’t attend an Oscars party on Sunday night, either together or alone. Vanity Fair’s star-studded afterparty included guests such as Lady Gaga, Charlize Theron, Miley Cyrus, Liam Hemsworth, Jamie Foxx, Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez.

Those at the Governors Ball included Barbra Streisand, Spike Lee, Rami Malek, Mahershala Ali, Mike Myers, Dana Carvey and Lupita Nyong’o. And celebrants at Elton John’s afterparty included Caitlyn Jenner, Taron Egerton, Jamie Bell, Kate Mara, Tiffany Haddish, Heidi Klum and Diana Ross. It’s worth noting, many of those mentioned above party-hopped and showed up at multiple events. Nowhere to be found, however, were Pitt and Aniston.

It’s clear New Idea’s “sources” are either woefully unreliable or flat-out nonexistent. This is the same magazine that Gossip Cop busted last week for absurdly claiming Pitt and Aniston got married at her 50th birthday party. This latest article makes no mention of the two being newlyweds. Earlier this month, the publication said Aniston was upset about Justin Theroux having a baby with Laura Harrier. The actress’s estranged husband isn’t dating Harrier, let alone having a child with her.

Last month, the tabloid concocted a storyline about Pitt dumping Aniston for Charlize Theron. None of these stories are based in reality, and they’re not particularly consistent either. The outlet doesn’t even bother to stick to its fictional narratives, but instead jumps from one to another.

Brad Pitt, Jennifer Aniston Becoming ‘Hollywood’s Golden Couple’ Again?

Brad Pitt Jennifer Aniston Hollywood Golden Couple

(Getty Images)

Are Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston reclaiming their title as “Hollywood’s Golden Couple”? That’s the claim in one of this week’s tabloids, which says the ex-spouses have slowly rekindled their romance. Gossip Cop can debunk the bogus story.

On the heels of Pitt attending his ex-wife’s 50th birthday party earlier this month, In Touch has decided to publish a bogus story about the exes being on the path to reuniting. According to the magazine, neither of them has been “able to let go,” despite both moving on and marrying other people following their divorce. “Brad and Jen have realized that they never really stopped loving each other,” a supposed insider tells the outlet. “In the end, true love won out.”

googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display(‘div-gpt-ad-1526939461036-0’); });

The alleged source further contends, “Once they were single again, they realized they could pick up where they left off. It all started with baby steps. They’re taking things slowly and seeing where this will go.” The seemingly phony tipster concludes, “It just goes to prove that they’ve always been the love of each other’s lives.”

In reality, the ex-spouses are friendly again, but they’re not getting back together. E! News reported that Pitt attended Aniston’s birthday party to support her as a friend, but “they definitely aren’t dating or on that path.” Meanwhile, “Entertainment Tonight” noted that Pitt didn’t stay at Aniston’s party for very long. “He came to support her, spoke to other friends of his that were there and headed out,” said the outlet. The exes are on good terms these days, but the idea they’re falling in love again simply isn’t true.

Additionally, it’s quite odd for In Touch to say the ex-spouses are “slowly” rekindling their romance. Gossip Cop busted the magazine last month for publishing a phony cover story claiming Pitt and Aniston were having a baby girl together. The unreliable outlet seems to have forgotten all about the imaginary pregnancy it came up with in January.

Here’s another thing the magazine seems to have forgotten. Back in October, the publication insisted that Pitt and Aniston were expecting a “miracle baby” together. And last August, the tabloid contended that Pitt and Aniston were going on a honeymoon in Italy following a so-called “backyard commitment ceremony.” None of those imaginary developments are mentioned in this latest article, which dials the scenario way back without acknowledging all of the previous claims made about the exes. The publication seems to think its readers have a short memory span, but Gossip Cop doesn’t.

Miley Cyrus, Liam Hemsworth Arguing Over Whether To ‘Raise Family In Australia’?

Miley Cyrus Liam Hemsworth Home

(Getty Images)

Have Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth been arguing over whether to “raise a family” in his native Australia? That was the claim in one of the tabloids exactly one year ago today. At the time, Gossip Cop said it was untrue, and after the fires in California destroyed their Malibu home last November, the couple has made even clearer where they want to live.

On February 25, 2018, Life & Style reported Cyrus and Hemsworth were clashing over where to eventually bring up their kids. The magazine asserted Hemsworth wanted to return to Australia, where much of his family still lives. The outlet even noted that Hemsworth’s brother Chris is “much happier” living Down Under than in Los Angeles.

googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display(‘div-gpt-ad-1526939461036-0’); });

To give the impression that its story was based on inside information, the publication contended it had a “source” who had learned Cyrus and Hemsworth were constantly “fighting” over where to “raise a family.” The tabloid’s alleged tipster insisted that while the singer was happy putting down her roots in Malibu, Hemsworth didn’t want to be “surrounded by [entertainment] industry people” all the time. The magazine further maintained Hemsworth isn’t “dazzled” at all by Southern California and wanted to bring up his children in Australia.

But after digging and talking to sources in Cyrus’s camp 12 months ago, Gossip Cop reported both the singer and actor were on the same page about making Malibu their home. Actually, in the wake of the wildfires that burned down their house there, the two couldn’t have been more vocal or supportive of their beach community. In fact, days after their house was reduced to rubble, Cyrus and Hemsworth donated $ 500,000 to The Malibu Foundation, a relief organization created to assist those in need.

Following the announcement of their gift, a rep for Cyrus explained that Malibu is “very special” to the couple, and they wanted to offer help to the neighborhood that “created so many beautiful memories” for them. Hemsworth himself posted a message on Instagram, following the devastating fires, in which he thanked the community for pulling together, before adding, “I love you Malibu.” Significantly, the home they lived in was actually bought by Hemsworth, not Cyrus.

Currently, the newlyweds have been spending a lot of time in Nashville, where they wed, until they rebuild and move back to Malibu. Hemsworth is not angling to have his wife move to Australia. It was false 365 days ago that Cyrus and Hemsworth were fighting over where to live, and it’s even more apparent now the tabloid was wrong.

It bears mentioning how Life & Style has not been terribly accurate when it comes to tales about the couple. For example, Gossip Cop busted the outlet back in 2016 when it incorrectly alleged in a cover story that Cyrus was pregnant. And the article a year ago today about them arguing whether or not to raise a family on Australia was similarly off-base. Simply, time has proven the publication to be unreliable about Hemsworth and Cyrus.
