Has Bradley Cooper been “pushed to the side” by Lady Gaga as she “turns her attention” to Jeremy Renner? That’s the premise behind a new magazine report. Gossip Cop can correct this latest claim about the singer telling her A Star Is Born co-star to “move over” for Renner.

According to In Touch, Gaga was in a “love triangle,” but she recently cut out Cooper for Renner. To back up its tale, the tabloid alleges it has a “source” who maintains Renner and Gaga “have been spending a lot of time together.” The outlet then notes how they hung out on March 14 when Gaga performed at the Los Angeles venue, Black Rabbit Rose, after Renner was at the December opening of her residency at the Park MGM in Las Vegas.

Gossip Cop is not sure how those two times constitute “spending a lot of time together.” Regardless, the outlet’s unnamed, untraceable, and possibly phony “insider” asserts Gaga and Renner “hit it off” in December, but she was “still engaged to Christian Carino at the time, so nothing happened,” though there was “definitely chemistry.” The same supposed tipster adds how Gaga’s “crush on Bradley appears to be subsiding,” leaving Cooper “bummed.”

It bears pointing out how the tabloid’s sister publication, Star, currently claims Gaga is “torn” between Cooper and Renner and doesn’t say anything about her having “pushed to the side” Cooper. It’s as if In Touch and the other magazines owned by the same corporate parent are trying to play every angle of this purported “love triangle.” But the truth is nothing romantic went on between Gaga and Cooper, who has a longtime girlfriend in Irina Shayk, nor is there anything to indicate the Oscar-winning singer is in a relationship with Renner.

When posed a question about her connection to the Avengers star, Gaga’s rep told Gossip Cop there appears to be nothing to the dating rumors. Additionally, there are no photos of them together that would give the impression they’re anything more than pals. Also, E! News recently confirmed there’s nothing going on between Gaga and Renner.

It’s hard to take In Touch seriously when only three weeks ago it published a cover story that falsely insisted Lady Gaga proposed marriage to Cooper. In that bogus article, which was also entirely based on an anonymous “source,” it was contended Carino “would be devastated if he found out that she’d proposed to Bradley.” Curiously, there was no mention of Renner with whom it now claims she’s had “chemistry” with since December.

Of course the story was a lie, as was the magazine’s article from October 2018 which Gossip Cop busted that swore up and down Cooper and Shayk were going to split up because of Gaga. A skeptic might argue the tabloid just prints rumors or whatever it thinks may be happening. But that’s not reporting, and as a result the outlet is frequently wrong. Maybe the publication should “push to the side” its Gaga sources and look for new ones.

Is Katie Holmes “broke” and “moving back in with her parents”? That’s the premise behind a magazine article that also falsely alleges the actress’ “relationship with Jamie Foxx is over,” and she’s now “single.” Gossip Cop can correct this inaccurate story.

Using a photo of Holmes dragging a piece of luggage, Woman’s Day maintains Holmes is “heartbroken” and “moving back in with her parents.” The tabloid notes how the actress “recently wrapped up filming her latest movie The Boy 2 in Canada and returned to the U.S., but instead of seeing Jamie, she immediately went back to her apartment and packed her bags.” A so-called “insider” is quoted as saying, “Katie thought she’d found the perfect person when Jamie came into her life, but when Jamie declared he was single, it proved that they’re on different pages.”

The clueless or possibly even made-up source adds, “It’s no surprise Katie’s turned to her family for support.” Then, at the end of its error-filled story, the magazine randomly asserts with no proof that Holmes is having a tough time landing good roles, and she now “has to watch her wallet, too.” But the truth is the actress has been working steadily, and while the single mom films around her daughter Suri’s schedule, she still has completed in the past year or so the TV-movie “No Apologies” and the movies The Boy 2, The Secret, and Coda.

Now allow Gossip Cop to examine this wrong report. For starters, Holmes and Foxx are still involved. In fact, they were photographed last week taking a walk together in Central Park. Also, it was never proven Foxx said he was “single” at an Oscars party. It was actually claimed by a blog known for manufacturing phony stories, and then regurgitated by a slew of other sites that didn’t bother to fact-check it. But it wasn’t true.

Having established that Holmes is neither “single” nor “heartbroken” because of Foxx, let’s look at the narrative about the actress “moving back in” with her mom and dad. The tabloid tries to bolster its premise about Holmes having “packed her bags” and “turned to her parents for support” by using a photo of her with a suitcase, but the picture of the actress leaving her home with luggage was from when she and Suri traveled earlier this month to visit Syrian refugees living in Greece. Lastly, as noted above, Holmes has shot a number of movies in the past year, and is far from “broke.”

Basically, everything the outlet claims is provably wrong. However, Gossip Cop is not entirely surprised, considering how off-base several of its previous articles have been. For instance, we busted a piece that insisted 10 months ago that Holmes was having Foxx’s baby.

Obviously, they didn’t have a child together, nor did Holmes and Foxx adopt a daughter from New Orleans, as Woman’s Day also contended. And it’s interesting how the publication now says the actress is “broke,” but fewer than six months ago, it swore up and down Holmes and Foxx were buying a $ 56 million penthouse in New York. While none of the tabloid’s claims check out, and it’s been an unreliable source of information about Holmes and Foxx in the past, Gossip Cop still reached out to the actress’ rep who confirms the magazine’s latest tale is untrue.

One of this week’s tabloids claims Jennifer Aniston has been casually dating both Brad Pitt and John Mayer at the same time. The story is completely false. Gossip Cop can debunk it.

According to OK!, the actress has been secretly seeing both her ex-husband and her ex-boyfriend since they attended her 50th birthday party last month. A supposed source tells the magazine she’s romancing both of her exes because she has a new outlook on life and is “going to say ‘yes’ to as many dates as possible and enjoy herself, but not get too attached.”

The alleged insider goes on to say that Aniston is keeping things “very casual” with Pitt, adding, “She has a history of jumping into relationships, so with Brad she plans to keep it easy — no strings attached. They don’t want things to get messy.”

As for Mayer, “They’ve been seeing more of each other over the last few weeks,” says the suspicious tipster. This time around, however, Aniston has supposedly “made it clear” that he can’t discuss their relationship with the press as he did following their 2009 split. “She told John that if he wants to spend time with her, he needs to keep his mouth shut this time, and he’s agreed,” adds the seemingly nonexistent “insider.”

The tabloid’s article is a work of fiction. Gossip Cop checked in with a rep qualified to speak on Aniston’s behalf, and we’re assured she isn’t dating either of her exes. Despite what the magazine’s anonymous “insider” claims, the actress’s spokesperson tells us on the record that she hasn’t rekindled a romance with either Pitt or Mayer.

Gossip Cop already busted OK! last month for falsely claiming Aniston and Pitt vacationed together in Mexico following her birthday. Separate reps for both stars assured they never took a trip together following their brief reunion at her party. Reputable entertainment outlets such as E! News have also confirmed that Aniston and Pitt “definitely aren’t dating or on that path,” despite his attendance at her birthday bash.

Back in December, Gossip Cop called out OK! for making up a story about Aniston having an “intimate reunion” with Mayer. That bogus report even included a section about the musician asking Pitt for permission to date the actress because he had heard a rumor they were “getting back together.” That entire narrative was also dismissed by Aniston’s spokesperson.

This latest article is attempting to combine both storylines and create a crazy love triangle between Aniston and her two exes. None of it is based in reality. The actress is on friendly terms with both Pitt and Mayer, but she’s not dating either of them again.

One of this week’s tabloids claims Drake forbids his friends from bringing fast food into his house because he’s a strict vegan. The story is completely made-up. Gossip Cop can debunk it.

“Drake Makes Pals Slurp On Sidewalk!” reads a ridiculous headline in the latest issue of Star. The accompanying article says the rapper recently kicked a group of his friends “to the curb” when they showed up at his house with bags of greasy fast food.

A supposed source tells the outlet, “Drake’s on a healthy vegan diet and was so disgusted his friends would bring over cheap drive-thru meals that he refused to let them inside his Hidden Hills house with the meaty grub.” The alleged insider adds, “The hangry guys had to sit outside, and munch their supersize lunch on the sidewalk!”

For starters, these quotes sound totally fake and unnatural. Who in casual conversation would refer to Drake’s home as his “Hidden Hills house”? Let’s not even get started on “munch their supersize lunch.” Still, Gossip Cop checked in with a source close to the rapper, who wasn’t able to speak on the record, but assures us the incident described in the magazine never occurred.

It’s worth noting, Drake has spent the majority of the month on tour in the U.K., so it’s unclear when any of this was supposed to have gone down. Additionally, the gossip media has a habit of making up odd stories about celebrities being difficult due to their vegan lifestyle. Last month, for example, Gossip Cop called out Star’s sister outlet, OK!, for falsely claiming Zac Efron refuses to eat in restaurants that serve meat.

Gossip Cop also busted the National Enquirer for making up a story about Emma Watson being a “diva” on movie sets. The reason? The actress allegedly refuses to eat the food from craft services and demands that vegan meals be delivered to her trailer. There’s no truth to that narrative either.

Gossip Cop also debunked a made-up story about Joaquin Phoenix urging Rooney Mara’s family, who own football teams, to get the NFL to stop using leather footballs. The tabloid claimed the vegan actor wanted his girlfriend’s family to convince NFL bosses to stop using footballs derived from animals.

There’s a recurring theme here. The tabloids clearly enjoys coming up with storylines about famous vegans creating drama due to their diet. This latest take on the subject is more fiction.

Has Queen Elizabeth “disowned” and “booted” Prince Harry and Meghan Markle from the royal family? That’s the premise of a cover story from one of this week’s magazines. Gossip Cop, however, can correct this absurd report.

The front page of the National Enquirer declares, “Royal Family Disowns Harry & Meghan!” It also asserts the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been “banished to Malta” by the queen, who’s “fed-up” with them. Inside the supermarket tabloid, it’s immediately claimed the two have been “booted out of the royal family” because of their “behavior,” “disregard for protocol,” and “tension” with Prince William and Kate Middleton.

The magazine then maintains it’s the only outlet in the world to have learned how “Her Majesty secretly summoned both couples to her private quarters, and raked Meghan and Harry over the coals.” And to make its tale sound legitimate, the often discredited publication quotes a so-called “palace aide” as saying, “Her Majesty was incensed” by a variety of issues Markle allegedly has caused,” and without warning “Meghan and Harry got the shock of their lives, because the queen disowned them both right on the spot.”

But that’s not all. The tabloid’s supposed tipster adds that Queen Elizabeth “banished the couple from Britain and ordered them into exile on the remote Mediterranean island of Malta. The purported “aide” notes Prince William and Middleton were “stunned,” but agree with the queen’s decision to throw his brother and sister-in-law out of the country. And in an attempt to lend credence to its story, the magazine bizarrely include a picturesque photo of Malta, along with a caption about how Markle and Prince Harry have been “ordered” to live there.

Next, a “palace insider” relates that after being tossed out of the royal family, “Meghan was so angry, she threw her ring at Harry.” The outlet then points out how “Meghan’s diamond engagement sparkler was not on her finger during an official visit to London’s Canada House.” Following that observation, the same unnamed and seemingly made-up “source” concludes Markle and Prince Harry are “headed for the rocks.”

The rest of the article is filled with a slew of untrue claims about why basically everyone in the family has had enough of the redheaded royal and and his bride, and how Prince Harry and Prince William have “vowed to never speak again.” Towards the end of the piece, the alleged “royal aide” states Prince Charles even scolded his youngest son, telling Prince Harry, “You’re not part of this family any longer.”

There’s so much provably false information in the tabloid’s cover story it’s hard to know where to start. Among the many issues is the magazine offers no details whatsoever about when this supposed meeting at the Queen’s “private quarters” took place. Presumably, it was before March 11 when the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were at Canada House. That, of course, brings up the question of why if they’ve been “banished” and “booted out of the royal” are they still living in the U.K. and performing royal functions?

As for that “fight” on that specific day, while the Duchess wasn’t wearing her engagement ring, Markle was photographed holding hands and looking happy with Prince Harry while sporting her wedding band. Also purposely omitted by the habitually disproven outlet is how on that same day, the Duke of Sussex was pictured chatting with his brother Prince William, while Markle stood near Middleton and joked with Prince Charles as they all joined Queen Elizabeth and several other royals at a Commonwealth Day service inside Westminster Abbey. Significantly, Middleton first greeted Markle with a kiss on the cheek. That all shoots down the entire “banished” from the U.K. theory, as well as the phony narratives about the two duchesses feuding and Prince William and Prince Harry no longer speaking to each other.

The truth, with which the tabloid seems vaguely acquainted, is that Prince Harry and Markle have not been exiled. The only move they are making is into Windsor Castle’s Frogmore Cottage, a large home the Queen Elizabeth gifted Prince Harry and Markle to live in with their newborn baby. And while Markle has begun her maternity leave, Prince Harry is still executing his royal duties. For instance, a quick scan of Kensington Palace’s Twitter feed reveals Prince Harry will continue his “ongoing work” with Heads Together, an organization devoted to mental health support, by attending an event in London on April 3.

The very next night, Prince Harry will join Prince William and Prince Charles for the Netflix premiere of Sir David Attenborough’s new documentary Our Planet at London’s Natural History Museum. The publication makes no mention of Prince Harry going to the screening with his brother and father, who it insists told the younger royal he was “not part” of the family anymore. Much like a number of its previous tales about the royals, it’s clear virtually every aspect of the tabloid’s new article is a lie, and talk of Markle and Prince Harry being exiled to Malta is a complete fabrication.

Simply, the Enquirer routinely publishes falsehoods about the royal family, while ignoring its past errors. Curiously, for example, the magazine doesn’t explain how Her Majesty was clearheaded enough earlier this month to banish Markle and Prince Harry when just a few weeks ago it swore up and down Queen Elizabeth has “dementia,” and made Prince William and Middleton the next king and queen. Actually, maybe the publication has memory problems since 11 months before that article, Gossip Cop had already busted the same outlet when it had similarly printed another bogus cover story which wrongly contended Prince William and Middleton were crowned king and queen in a “secret succession” plot.

It also surprising the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were together at the alleged recent meeting with Queen Elizabeth since nine months ago the very same outlet reported Prince Harry stormed out on Markle after a “blistering fight” one month into their marriage. It appears that tabloid and its sister publications, such as the Globe, which Gossip Cop corrected last week when it ridiculously claimed Queen Elizabeth “ordered” Prince Charles to divorce Camilla Parker Bowles, care little for consistency or accuracy when it comes to their articles about the royal family. Gossip Cop suggests it’s time for those outlets to have their sources “booted” for repeatedly feeding them a stream of fictitious tales.

One of this week’s tabloids claims Britney Spears is demanding that her boyfriend Sam Asghari propose to her. The story is completely untrue. Gossip Cop can correct it.

“Britney To Sam: It’s Now Or Never!” reads a headline in the latest issue of OK! The accompanying article says the singer is desperate for her boyfriend to pop the question, but he doesn’t think the timing is right since her father Jamie is still recovering after suffering a ruptured colon in December. Spears’ dad has been her conservator for more than a decade, and would likely need to give his permission before she can tie the knot.

As Gossip Cop has reported, Spears’ father nearly died as a result of his medical condition, and the singer has canceled her Las Vegas residency to be by his side and help him get well. As a result, a supposed source tells the magazine, “Sam wants to wait until they’re on a more grounded path, but his stalling has made her nervous that it’s never going to happen.” The alleged insider adds, “The growing view is that Sam needs to propose now or risk Brit walking away, though there’s no doubt the breakup would leave her heartbroken.”

The tabloid’s story isn’t particularly logical. When Spears announced in January that she’s taking an “indefinite work hiatus,” the singer explained that she’s putting her “full focus and energy” on helping her father recover. In addition to canceling her Las Vegas residency, Spears also postponed the release of a new album she had in the works. The idea that she’s eager to walk down the aisle at this time simply doesn’t make sense. As she herself noted, her father is on the mend but “still has a long road ahead of him,” and she’s only concerned with his well-being at the moment.

Still, Gossip Cop checked in with a source close to Spears, who wasn’t able to speak on the record, but confirms that the outlet’s story is untrue. The singer simply isn’t pressuring her boyfriend to propose. OK! is the same tabloid we busted in December for falsely claiming Spears and Asghari were having a secret wedding in her home state of Louisiana. That never happened.

Back in 2017, Gossip Cop called out the publication for wrongly reporting Spears was pregnant with Asghari’s baby following a “secret wedding” in Hawaii. It’s clear the unreliable outlet comes up with new storylines on a whim. This latest one about Spears demanding her boyfriend marry her is more nonsense.

Reese Witherspoon was not “dumped” by husband Jim Toth on her 43rd birthday, despite a bogus tabloid report. Gossip Cop can correct the false story. There’s no truth to it.

Last month, a photo emerged of Witherspoon stumbling down the stairs at Jennifer Aniston’s 50th birthday party. Star now alleges that the actress fell because she has “overindulged” in alcohol and her husband was furious about the incident, to the point where he “stormed out” ahead of her birthday on March 22, leaving her to celebrate alone.

The tabloid further contends that Toth is sick of his wife’s alleged boozing, while a supposed source is quoting as saying, “It’s no secret that they’ve had problems, and that people are buzzing their marriage has hit a rough patch.” The questionable insider adds, “Even though the marriage has resolved itself time and again, it’s no secret it’s getting tough. Reese is fiery, and when she drinks, her temper can sometimes get the better of her!”

There’s a ton of evidence to disprove the tabloid’s phony report. On March 24, two days after Witherspoon’s birthday, the actress supported Toth as he ran the Los Angeles marathon. The actress stood on the sidelines along with the couple’s six-year-old son and her two older kids from her first marriage to Ryan Phillippe. Witherspoon and her children cheered on the talent agent as he competed in the race.

Two days later, Witherspoon and Toth were spotted on date night in Santa Monica. Both were smiling as they exited a restaurant. And on Thursday, Witherspoon and Toth stepped out for lunch with the actress’s 15-year-old son. Although it’s unclear how the actress and her husband celebrated her birthday on March 22, it’s quite evident that she didn’t get “dumped.”

Despite the outlet’s story being provably untrue, Gossip Cop still checked in with Witherspoon’s spokesperson, who tells us on the record that it’s flat-out “ridiculous.” Just last week, we busted Star for wrongly alleging that Witherspoon’s marriage was “falling apart.” The premise wasn’t true then and it’s no more accurate now. The happy spouses, who celebrated their eighth wedding anniversary earlier this week, are going strong.

It’s worth noting, Star’s sister publication, OK!, wrongly reported a few weeks ago that Witherspoon and Toth were having another baby. That story wasn’t true either, but it shows how the magazine and its related publications don’t even bother to keep their fake narratives consistent.

One of this week’s tabloids claims Katie Holmes got a “$ 50,000 makeover” following her so-called “split” from Jamie Foxx. The story is wrong on every level. Gossip Cop can debunk it.

Earlier this month, Holmes looked sleek and stylish at the opening of Neiman Marcus’ new flagship store in New York City. Of course, there’s nothing so unusual about an actress putting herself together for a public event where she’s going to be photographed. Life & Style, however, insists Holmes “was sending a clear message: I’m single and I’ve still got it.”

An alleged insider tells the magazine that Holmes and Foxx ended their romance last month, and she’s “made a concerted effort to get back out there,” starting with a “breakup makeover.” The supposed source adds, “It was difficult for her to get over her split with Jamie. But now, she’s more confident than she’s ever been and it really shows.”

The suspicious tipster adds, “Katie’s not holding back; when you add in all the factors, including the clothing and the glam squad, she easily spent $ 50,000.” The seemingly phony source concludes, “She looks chic, sexy and powerful. Eat your heart out, Jamie!”

The tabloid’s phony story is very poorly-timed. Earlier this week, Holmes and Foxx were spotted taking a stroll through Central Park in New York, proving they’re still very much together. It’s worth noting, the two don’t have the most conventional of relationships. “Entertainment Tonight” reported last year that Holmes and Foxx have “very independent lives,” and “it’s not uncommon for them to go long stretches without seeing each other.”

As for the “$ 50,000 makeover,” Gossip Cop checked in with Holmes’ spokesperson, who tells us on the record it’s untrue. The actress didn’t spend an exorbitant amount of money on her appearance in the wake of a nonexistent “split.” Holmes simply got dolled up for a public event, and that’s where this story begins and ends. Despite what the magazine’s anonymous “source” claims, the actress’s rep assures us she didn’t undergo an expensive makeover following a breakup that didn’t occur.

Life & Style is the same outlet that Gossip Cop busted in December for falsely claiming Foxx had “dumped” Holmes on her 40th birthday. In reality, the couple celebrated her birthday together at a restaurant in New York. It’s also worth noting, the outlet seems to have a preoccupation with the idea of the actress undergoing a costly “makeover.” Last year, Gossip Cop called out the magazine for making up a story about Holmes spending thousands of dollars to “look sexy” for Foxx. This latest take on the subject is even more baseless.

Is Angelina Jolie working with family-friendly Disney to “clean up” her image amid her “ugly divorce” from Brad Pitt? That’s the claim in one of this week’s celebrity magazines. Gossip Cop, however, can correct this highly inaccurate premise.

According to the National Enquirer, Jolie is getting help from Disney with “damage control,” so that her divorce from Pitt doesn’t affect the release of the Maleficent: Mistress Of Evil when it’s released in seven months. To make its story seem believable, the supermarket tabloid alleges it has “insiders” who say (in unison), “Having Angie and her children at Disney’s Dumbo premiere was no accident. Disney wants to show her off being a great mother.” “[Jolie] knows the damage that the divorce has done to her image,” adds the same unnamed and unverifiable “insiders.”

The truth is Jolie has been bringing her kids to movie premieres for years, well before she and Pitt split up in September 2016. Also, it’s not like the actress has suddenly aligned herself with Disney to “clean up” her image. Jolie starred in Disney’s Maleficent, which was released in 2014, a good two years prior to her filing for divorce.

As noted above, the Oscar-winner’s children have accompanied Jolie for more than a decade to film openings, some of which are decidedly not Disney-esque. For instance, Maddox and Pax were with Jolie at the 2013 premiere of Pitt’s World War Z in London. And Shiloh attended the U.S. premiere in 2014 of Unbroken, which Jolie directed. And all of Jolie’s kids joined her for the world premiere of First They Killed My Father, which most certainly was not a family movie.

Simply, Jolie recently took her kids to Dumbo because, as previously established, they often go to premieres, and also because she thought they would enjoy the movie. Sources both within Jolie’s world and at Disney assure Gossip Cop her attendance was unrelated to her divorce from Pitt or some master plan to “clean up” her image. The Enquirer or its collective “insiders” made up that narrative, much like several of the outlet’s other tales.

Just a few days ago, for instance, Gossip Cop busted the tabloid when it untruthfully contended Jolie was drinking booze because Pitt and Jennifer Aniston have been secretly meeting up. Interestingly, the magazine claimed in that article how Jolie was “caught drinking a large glass of wine” at the Dumbo premiere. That actually 100 percent contradicts the latest report about Jolie attending that film with her kids as part of Disney’s plot to “clean up” her image and to “show her off being a great mother” amid her divorce from Pitt. For the record, Jolie just had a few sips of red wine at the movie’s party.

Just two weeks before that untrue story, Gossip Cop corrected the very same publication when it falsely insisted Jolie was moving to New York to get away from Pitt. In that piece, the tabloid’s supposed tipster explained Jolie wanted to go cross-country to make it “more difficult” for Pitt to see his kids. That is not what a “great mother” does. In fact, a move like that would quite possibly lead to Jolie losing custody of her children.

Also this past month, Gossip Cop looked back at another article from that magazine which absurdly maintained Jolie was “heartbroken” Pitt and Aniston were getting back together. Of course, as their reps have repeatedly confirmed to us, Aniston and Pitt are not reuniting romantically. Maybe it’s time the publication begins doing “damage control” on its own behalf, considering how frequently wrong it continues to be about Jolie and her family.

Is Gwen Stefani really begging Pope Francis to annul her first marriage to Gavin Rossdale so she can marry Blake Shelton and have it be recognized by the Catholic Church? That’s the story in one of this week’s tabloids. Gossip Cop can set the record straight.

The Catholic Church won’t officiate a marriage after a divorce unless the initial marriage is annulled, and according to the National Enquirer, Stefani is desperate to have a Catholic wedding. The tabloid claims the singer has been meeting with her priest and other religious officials to have her first marriage wiped clean, but the process “can take up to three years” and she’s not willing to wait.

The outlet’s story is coming from a seemingly nonexistent tipster, but Gossip Cop checked in with Stefani’s spokesperson, who tells us on the record that it’s “untrue.” The singer’s rep, who’s qualified to speak on her behalf, tells us she’s not in the process of having her first marriage annulled, and she certainly isn’t planning a trip to Rome to arrange a sitdown with the pope.

It’s worth noting, this bogus premise isn’t original. Last week, Gossip Cop busted the Enquirer’s sister publication, Us Weekly, for making up a similar story about Stefani having her first marriage annulled. In that article, however, a so-called “source” was quoted as saying, “The process could take up to a year, and they’re willing to wait.” This latest report is changing the storyline by claiming the singer won’t accept any delays and is marching straight into the Vatican to demand an annulment. This updated and escalated version of the narrative isn’t accurate either.

As for the Enquirer, the outlet has trouble keeping track of its made-up reports. Just a few weeks ago, Gossip Cop called out the tabloid for falsely claiming Stefani and Shelton were having a small wedding at their Los Angeles home, but nothing over-the-top as marriage is “just a formality” for them.

Not only is there no wedding in the works, but this latest article is completely contradictory. How exactly did Stefani go from believing marriage is “just a formality” to insisting her marriage be recognized by the church? That article cited above also maintained that the couple would be having a baby through a surrogate following their wedding. That’s not the case either. This latest article is more fiction from the repeatedly discredited magazine.
