Julia Roberts Leaving Husband For Brad Pitt?

Brad Pitt Julia Roberts Leaving Husband

(Getty Images)

Julia Roberts is not leaving husband Danny Moder for Brad Pitt, despite a ridiculous tabloid report. Gossip Cop can debunk the premise. There’s simply no truth to it.

Last week, Roberts posted an Instagram tribute to Pitt in honor of his 55th birthday. Along with a photo of the two from their 2001 movie The Mexican, the actress wrote, “Happy Birthday to one of the all time GREATS,” followed by emojis of a cake, pink hearts and the word “LOVE.” Roberts’ post was all the evidence that Woman’s Day Australia needed to decide she wants to develop a romance with her friend and former co-star.

googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display(‘div-gpt-ad-1526939461036-0’); });

“Julia seems to be hinting that she’s got a crush on Brad, not that anyone could blame her,” an alleged insider tells the magazine. “He’s single now, he’s gorgeous and he’s at a good place in his life where he might be open to having another relationship.” The outlet’s supposed source adds, “Maybe she’s hoping once things settle down with Danny, and Brad has figured out what he wants to do when his divorce is finalized, they can finally give romance a shot.”

From there, the seemingly phony tipster contends that Roberts and her husband of 16 years are headed for a divorce. The magazine has no proof to back up the claim, but the “source” insists the’ve “been living separate lives for a while.” The questionable insider adds, “If Julia does have a divorce and a potential custody battle looming, Brad will no doubt be her rock and offer a fountain of support and advice after going through the same.” The suspicious source concludes, “Everyone says they’d make a gorgeous couple. He’s not only her dear friend but he could be her dream man.”

The tabloid’s story is predicated on the idea that the actress’s marriage is in trouble, but that’s simply not the case. Last month, Roberts gushed about her husband on Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop podcast. The actress noted that Moder changed her life “in the most incredible, indescribable way,” adding, “He truly, to this day, to this minute is just my favorite human.” Roberts went on to say that marrying her husband was “the best decision I’ve ever made.”

Additionally, Roberts addressed the false tabloid rumors about her marriage in a November interview with Harper’s Bazaar. “It can still hurt my feelings, because I’m so proud of my marriage,” said the actress. “We just celebrated being married for 16 years this Fourth of July, and there’s so much happiness wrapped up in what we’ve found together.”

This also isn’t the first time a tabloid has attempted to create a fake romance between Roberts and Pitt. Gossip Cop busted OK! in June for falsely claiming that the two were meeting up for secret dinner dates. This latest article attempting to link the two movie stars is equally baseless. Roberts simply wished her friend a happy birthday on social media, and that’s where the story begins and ends.

RadarOnline Flip-Flops On Caitlyn Jenner “Snubbed” By Kardashians With “Reconciles” Story

Caitlyn Jenner Kardashians

(Getty Images)

After falsely claiming Caitlyn Jenner was “snubbed” by the Kardashians and not invited to their annual Christmas party, RadarOnline is now flip-flopping with a story about how she’s reconciled with the family. The reality is the site was 100 percent wrong about Jenner and her gal pal Sophia Hutchins not being invited the yearly bash, and now it’s pretending as if it never published the first article and actually has insight into her life. But Gossip Cop can once again expose the outlet.

On December 24, the website ran a story titled, “Blindsided! Caitlyn And Sophia Snubbed From Kris’ Annual Christmas Eve Bash.” In that 100 percent untrue report, the unreliable outlet wrote, “Caitlyn Jenner and Sophia Hutchins were intentionally left off the invite list.” The blog even claimed to have a “source close to Caitlyn,” who supposedly said, “The Kardashian-Jenners don’t want Caitlyn in attendance.” What’s more the so-called “source” added how Jenner’s daughters, including Kendall “won’t be photographed with [Sophia]” these days.

googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display(‘div-gpt-ad-1526939461036-0’); });

As Gossip Cop noted hours after that phony piece was posted, Jenner and Hutchins actually attended the Christmas party and were not “snubbed.” They were not “left off the invite list” at all. And Kendall was happily photographed with Hutchins and Jenner at the bash.

The following day, Jenner posted an Instagram video of her and Hutchins entering the Christmas party. She also wrote alongside the footage, “So happy to be with family last night! …Love you all. @kendalljenner @kyliejenner @kimkardashian @kourtneykardash @khloekardashian @krisjenner.” Basically, RadarOnline was wrong about everything.

Without referencing its previous flop of a story, the often discredited site flipped its angle for a new piece about how “Caitlyn reconcile[d] with [the] Kardashians.” The outlet again alleges it has a “source,” who this time claims she’s worked hard “to prove to the girls that she was so sorry” for some of the remarks she made in her memoir, The Secrets Of My Life, that caused a rift in the family. “Caitlyn was really touched that she was invited to the [Christmas] party,” adds the blog’s supposed “insider.”

The website makes no mention whatsoever about how days earlier it published a full article about Jenner being “snubbed” and purposefully “left off the invite list.” Gossip Cop, however, is not entirely surprised by this, considering how many times we’ve busted the blog for its bogus tales about her.

In February 2017, for instance, the site maintained Jenner was suing ex-wife Kris Jenner for lost earnings related to “Keeping Up With The Kardashians.” That never happened. And yet two months later, Gossip Cop nailed the same outlet when it flip-flopped and asserted Kris wanted to get back together with Jenner. It further untruthfully contended Jenner and Kris were going to do a reality show together.

Among the other falsehoods published by the blog was that the former Olympian was on such “rotten terms” with Kendall and Kylie that Jenner had “adoption plans” to “fill the void caused by her strained relationship with her daughters.” Of course, that never happened either. Nor did Jenner join the all-athletes cast of “Dancing With The Stars, which the outlet swore up and down she would.

Simply, that site is not reliable when it comes to articles about Jenner. While it alleges it has a “source close to” her, it’s hard to believe, given how many factually inaccurate stories it’s written about her. At minimum, it would be nice if the blog admitted its mistakes rather than flip-flopping or pretending it hasn’t posted so many untrue reports about the transgender activist.

Top Bradley Cooper, Lady Gaga Rumor Of 2018: They Fell In Love

Bradley Cooper Lady Gaga Rumors

(Getty Images)

The release of A Star Is Born resulted in several bogus tabloid stories about co-stars Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga in 2018. The year’s top rumor came last month when a tabloid made up a story about the two falling in love with each other in real-life. Gossip Cop debunked the narrative when it first emerged, and it remains untrue.

In November, an In Touch cover story read, “Bradley & Gaga: How They Fell For Each Other.” The accompanying article suggested a romance was developing between the stars, much to the displeasure of their respective partners, supermodel Irina Shayk and talent agent Christian Carino.

googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display(‘div-gpt-ad-1526939461036-0’); });

An alleged insider told the magazine that Cooper and Gaga’s significant others were jealous of their chemistry and suspicious of all the time they spent together while promoting A Star Is Born. But the only remotely true aspect of the magazine’s report was that the co-stars love each other as friends. Their relationship is completely professional and platonic, and neither of their partners have an issue with their bond.

In the weeks since we busted the bogus article, Cooper supported Shayk at her Versace fashion show in New York City. A few days later, Cooper and Shayk were spotted smiling during an outing with their daughter in New York’s Central Park. The actor and the model have also been spotted out and about with their little girl in Los Angeles as of late, including a trip to an outdoor shopping complex, where they all took a picture with Santa Claus.

Meanwhile, Gaga thanked Carino during an emotional speech at Elle’s 25th Annual Women in Hollywood Celebration in November. During the speech, the singer confirmed she’s engaged to the talent agent. People magazine later noted that Gaga’s fiancé “is a good, grounding force and understands her career.”

Cooper and Gaga formed a close friendship on the set of their hit film, which the actor also directed, but there’s no off-screen romance between the pair. As we’ve noted, Cooper and Gaga both keep their respective romances very private. On the one hand, that means they both get to avoid answering questions about their personal lives. On the other hand, it gives the tabloids free rein to make up stories about their relationships.

A Star Is Born, which has already received a number of Golden Globe nominations, is expected to be one of the top contenders at the 2019 Oscars. Of course, the tabloids will likely come up with more false narratives about the co-stars during their time on the awards circuit. As always, Gossip Cop will separate fact from fiction. In the meantime, the award for 2018’s top rumor about Cooper and Gaga goes to In Touch, which would have its readers wrongly believe they’ve fallen in love.

Top Will Smith, Jada Pinkett Rumor Of 2018: Divorcing After 20 Years

Will Smith Jada Pinkett Top Rumor 2018

(Getty Images)

Will Smith and Jada Pinkett frequently appeared in the tabloids in 2018. The top wrong rumor about the longtime spouses came when a tabloid wrongly reported they were getting a $ 270 million divorce after 20 years of marriage. Gossip Cop debunked the story when it was first published, and the happy couple is still going strong.

In February, RadarOnline published a bogus story alleging that Smith and Pinkett had been “living separate lives” for quite some time, and were finally ready to end their marriage. An alleged insider told the magazine that the couple had agreed to a trial separation, and both were enjoying “getting a taste of the single life.”

googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display(‘div-gpt-ad-1526939461036-0’); });

The supposed source further contended that the longtime spouses started growing apart once their kids moved out of the house, “so it wouldn’t be a surprise if Will and Jada decided they’re better off separated and make this split permanent.” The questionable tipster went on to say that Pinkett wanted to focus on her career instead of “living in Will’s shadow.”

When this breakup story was first published back in February, a source close to the situation assured us Smith and Pinkett were still together. Time has proven that to be the case. In May, Smith addressed false rumors about his marriage by releasing a new song called “To the Clique.” The movie star and rapper says in the track, “20 years of swag y’all just witnessed, stop the divorce rumors and mind your damn business.”

In October, Smith appeared on Pinkett’s Facebook show “Red Table Talk” to have an open and honest discussion about their marriage. The couple admitted they hit a rough patch several years ago, “but divorce was never even an option,” said Smith, who added, “I was reading in the tabloids that we were getting divorced and all that stuff. It was never even a consideration.” Pinkett noted, “It never even crossed my mind.”

Last week, Smith shared several Instagram photos and videos of his family’s Christmas celebration. One of the images features him and Pinkett wearing Santa Claus and Rudolph outfits. One of the videos shows the elaborate Christmas decorations his wife set up, while another picture features the entire Smith family decked out in festive outfits. Smith credited the celebration to his wife, writing, “Jada LOOOOVES Christmas! I think she’s finally Rubbin’ Off on the rest of us.”

It’s worth noting, the spouses’ 21st wedding anniversary falls on December 31, and Gossip Cop suspects they’ll be posting loving tributes to one another on social media, as they have in past years. As for RadarOnline’s claim about a “$ 270 million divorce,” that marks 2018’s top wrong rumor about Smith and Pinkett.

Robert Pattinson “Surprised” Kristen Stewart Has New Girlfriend Is Made-Up Story

Robert Pattinson Kristen Stewart

(Getty Images)

Robert Pattinson being “surprised” Kristen Stewart has fallen “hard” for her new girlfriend Sara Dinkin is yet another made-up story. It comes from a website that’s well-known for fabricating phony tales about Pattinson. Gossip Cop can explain how the latest manufactured article came about.

HollywoodLife, which is frequently referred to as HollywoodLies, maintains it knows Pattinson “thinks” about Stewart “all the time,” and is now shocked how his ex-girlfriend has become smitten “so fast” with Dinkin, a Los Angeles-based stylist. After the often discredit blog establishes the premise it’s trying push, it conveniently has a so-called “source close to” Pattinson reiterate how he’s “surprised” Stewart has “move[d] through so many girlfriends so quickly.” The same almost assuredly bogus tipster adds, “He thinks about Kristen all the time,” and “he hopes Kristen finds true love and happiness.”

googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display(‘div-gpt-ad-1526939461036-0’); });

None of what’s stated in the purported quotes is necessarily negative, but Pattinson did not share his inner thoughts with anyone who blabs to websites. What’s going on is that in the past few days there have been a number of photos of Stewart stepping out with Dinkin, leading everyone to naturally assume the two are now dating, and that the actress is no longer with Stella Maxwell, her girlfriend of nearly two years. With that as its starting point, HollywoodLies has concocted an angle to draw Pattinson in.

The reality is Pattinson and Stewart split half a decade ago, and he does not think of her “all the time.” Since their breakup up, he’s been involved with a few women, most notably FKA Twigs and his current girlfriend Suki Waterhouse. What Stewart does is not of utmost importance to Pattinson anymore.

Still, HollywoodLies tries this tactic of taking news about other people and then dragging Pattinson into it. For instance, the habitually disproven site claimed in March that Pattinson “misses” FKA Twigs after Apple released a commercial with her in it. And in September, the same outlet contended it knew Pattinson’s reaction to Shia LaBeouf dating FKA Twigs after the Transformers star’s split from Mia Goth.

Sometimes, though, because HollywoodLies simply takes a nugget of news and crafts tales around them, the blog ends up getting burned. For instance, in January after it was wrongly reported Pattinson and Katy Perry were “making out” in a Los Angeles restaurant, the outlet took that (since widely debunked) story and made up an entirely new angle. It asserted Pattinson “crushed” on Perry for years and that they had been “dating for a while.” It was all a lie.

The three aforementioned articles were among the many fabricated reports HollywoodLies published about Pattinson in just the past year alone. In the past 365 days, the same untrustworthy site also falsely speculated that Pattinson and Bella Hadid were a “new couple.” It’s also the same blog what wrongly spread that Pattinson was dating Sienna Miller.

If HollywoodLies truly had Pattinson sources, which his camp has dismissed in the past, the outlet wouldn’t post so many untrue stories about him. The reality is Pattinson doesn’t think “all the time” about an girlfriend from more than five years ago. He has long moved on from Stewart. It time for HollywoodLife to move on from its bad habit of making up articles about Pattinson.

Top Jennifer Lopez, Alex Rodriguez Rumor Of 2018: Getting Married And Having Baby

Jennifer Lopez Alex Rodriguez Rumor 2018

(Getty Images)

Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez’s relationship was a constant fixture in the tabloids in 2018. This year’s top wrong rumor about the couple involved them getting married and having a baby. As time has shown, that didn’t happen.

Back in August, Gossip Cop called out In Touch for publishing a cover story claiming Lopez and Rodriguez were planning a $ 10 million wedding after getting engaged in Capri. An alleged source told the magazine that the former MLB star had “popped the question on a romantic boat ride,” and the two were in the process of “excitedly planning their dream wedding.”

googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display(‘div-gpt-ad-1526939461036-0’); });

According to the publication, more than 250 guests would be in attendance at the ceremony, which was to be held at a “tropical resort” in the Caribbean. The outlet didn’t bother to mention when the supposed celebration would take place, but maintained that Lopez and Rodriguez were already writing their vows. The magazine’s seemingly phony source went on to say that following the wedding, the couple would have a child together.

When the tabloid’s article was first published back in August, Gossip Cop reached out to Rodriguez’s spokesperson, who called it “ridiculous.” Despite what the magazine’s anonymous “insider” had claimed, a rep qualified to speak on the athlete’s behalf told us that he and Lopez weren’t planning a wedding or thinking about a baby.

It’s now been more than five months since we debunked the bogus wedding and baby story, and the couple still hasn’t gotten engaged. In fact, Lopez said in an interview on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” last month that she doesn’t know if they’ll get engaged anytime soon, but they’re “very happy” together. Earlier this month, Lopez told USA Today that she and Rodriguez are “taking it day-by-day. And it’s great.” The singer added, “2018 has really moved us to a place where we feel like a real family. That’s nice. And it’s good enough right now.” Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem good enough for the tabloids, which insist on sending the couple down the aisle.

Gossip Cop debunks tabloid stories as soon as they emerge, and the passage of time frequently shows that we were right to do so. That’s the case here. It’s worth noting, Lopez and Rodriguez’s relationship appears to be going quite strong, so it’s very possible they’ll tie the knot at some point in the future. In Touch, however, clearly has no insight into the couple’s relationship. The magazine’s story surrounding a $ 10 million wedding and a baby marks 2018’s top wrong rumor about the couple.

Mariah Carey Jealous Of Lady Gaga’s Movie Career?

Lady Gaga Mariah Carey

(Getty Images)

One of this week’s tabloids claims Mariah Carey is jealous of Lady Gaga’s success with A Star Is Born because she’s hoping to have a movie career of her own. The story is completely made-up. Gossip Cop can debunk it.

A headline in the latest issue of Star reads, “Mariah Going Gaga With Jealousy!” The accompanying article says the singer is determined to rebrand herself as a movie star after seeing all the praise Gaga is getting for A Star Is Born, which was a major hit at the box office and is poised to be a contender at the Oscars.

googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display(‘div-gpt-ad-1526939461036-0’); });

In 2001, Carey starred the big-screen musical drama Glitter, but the movie was a bust with both critics and audiences. “Mariah’s movie Glitter will go down as one of the worst films in history,” a supposed source tells the magazine. “She’s never really pursued acting after that, but she can’t stand how people are going, well, gaga over A Star Is Born. Mimi thinks she deserves an Oscar-worthy role too!”

As for Carey’s supposed “dream gig,” the alleged insider says, “She basically wants to be Whitney Houston in The Bodyguard. ” The questionable tipster adds, “Mariah is fully aware that her star power is waning, and she figures making a hit movie is her only way back to the top now.”

The tabloid’s story is based on claims from a seemingly nonexistent “source,” but Gossip Cop reached out to Carey’s spokesperson, who tells us on the record that it’s both “lame and fake.” The singer’s rep, who’s authorized to speak on her behalf, adds, “It’s incredibly sad that the media insists on making up false narratives that pit women against each other. This isn’t true.”

In reality, Carey is continuing to focus on her music career. The singer recently wrapped her All I Want For Christmas Is You European Tour. In February, Carey is kicking off her Caution World Tour in support of of her latest album Caution, which debuted last month.

It’s worth noting, the tabloids have an ongoing storyline about various stars being envious of Gaga’s success with A Star Is Born. In June, Gossip Cop debunked a story claiming Barbra Streisand, who starred in the original 1976 film, was trying to overshadow Gaga’s remake by releasing a new edition of her own movie.

In September, RadarOnline falsely claimed that Madonna was “livid” about A Star Is Born getting Oscar buzz. Shortly after that, In Touch alleged that Jennifer Lawrence was angry with Bradley Cooper for casting Gaga in A Star Is Born instead of her. Carey is now the latest celebrity said to be jealous of Gaga’s hit movie, but this ongoing tabloid saga is baseless.

Jessica Simpson NOT Spending Millions Of Dollars On Baby’s Nursery, Despite Report

Jessica Simpson Baby Nursery

(Getty Images)

Jessica Simpson is not spending millions of dollars on her unborn baby girl’s nursery, despite a new report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this outlandish claim. We’re told it’s not true.

According to OK!, Simpson is “planning to spoil her little girl rotten.” An unnamed and untraceable “source” is quoted by the magazine as alleging the pregnant star “has set aside several million to build a new state-of-the-art nursery at her L.A. mansion.” The anonymous tipster further contends the nursery will be “equipped with the best of the best.”

googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display(‘div-gpt-ad-1526939461036-0’); });

For instance, the little girl’s crib comes with a $ 5,000 price tag, asserts the publication. Its supposed insider adds, “Jess is going for an artsy, urban feel in the nursery with Lucite furniture and lots of cartoon artwork in black frames, plus wall decals.” “This baby will be pampered beyond belief, even by Hollywood standards,” concludes the so-called “source,” who notes the newborn will have “round-the-clock nannies and a nurse” to watch over her.

Allow Gossip Cop to more fully examine the tabloid’s claims. Even though it maintains Simpson has set aside “several million” to build the nursery, it doesn’t really offer many details about how the baby’s room will cost so much money. While the outlet asserts the nursery will be “state-of-the-art,” it doesn’t give a single example of what high-tech equipment will in the room. And even if one were to ascribe outrageous price tags to the Lucite furniture, cartoon artwork, and wall decals, it would be nearly impossible to come to a figure in the millions.

This is actually a typical tabloid tactic. Make claims about how everything will be the “best of the best,” without offering any specifics, and then slap on to it an absurd dollar amount. For example, its sister site RadarOnline inaccurately contended last year that Beyonce was building a million-dollar nursery for her and Jay-Z’s twins. As opposed to the publication, which hides behind a nameless and quite possibly fictitious “source,” Gossip Cop reached out to Simpson’s rep, who told us on behalf of the entertainer that the entire premise behind OK!’s article is not true.

Of course, this tall tale is coming from the same outlet Gossip Cop busted in August when it wrongly declared Simpson and husband Eric Johnson were headed for a $ 1 billion divorce. Just a month later, the happily married couple announced with their two kids, Max and Ace, that Simpson was expecting again. As stated above, the magazine likes to tack on big dollar figures to its stories about Simpson, but the claims make no cents, er, sense.

Gwen Stefani “Relieved” Blake Shelton Didn’t Propose On Christmas Is Made-Up Story

Blake Shelton Gwen Stefani Christmas

(Getty Images)

Gwen Stefani being “relieved” Blake Shelton didn’t propose on Christmas is a made-up story. And it comes from a site that has been repeatedly caught manufacturing phony and often contradictory articles about the couple.

HollywoodLife, which is so well-known for its fibbing that it’s routinely referred to as HollywoodLies, has published so many bogus tales about the No Doubt singer that her rep once told Gossip Cop, “I pretend they don’t exist.” To the chagrin of real journalists (and many celebrities), the blog does exist and frequently posts concocted articles like the current one alleging Stefani’s “relieved” that her boyfriend of three years didn’t pop the question on Christmas. In what’s almost assuredly a lie, the site maintains it has a “source close to” Stefani, who supposedly shared she’s “relieved” Shelton “didn’t propose during their Christmas celebrations… a marriage proposal was the last thing on her mind.”

googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display(‘div-gpt-ad-1526939461036-0’); });

The reason why she was grateful beyond words not to get engaged to Shelton, according to HollywoodLies, is that Stefani wanted to make the holiday strictly about her three sons. The blog then notes it “reached out to Gwen’s rep for comment.” But, as mentioned above, her spokesperson thinks so little of that outlet, if they heard back from the rep it would truly be a Christmas miracle.

It’s interesting how HollywoodLies now claims Stefani is happy Shelton didn’t propose because on December 18, 2016, in a piece titled, “Blake Shelton & Gwen Stefani Getting Engaged Over The Holidays?” the same untrustworthy outlet quoted one of its seemingly make-believe sources relating how Shelton has “definitely been shopping for diamond jewelry,” and “if he is ready to pop the question she is ready to say yes!” Ooh, that didn’t age well.

Let’s now fast-forward to November 13, 2017 when HollywoodLies posted its article, “Is Blake Shelton Planning To Propose To Gwen Stefani During Her Christmas Special?” In that fabricated report, the site trotted out yet another unnamed and purposely untraceable “insider,” who contended how “the Christmas special would be the perfect opportunity for Blake to propose,” and there was a real possibility viewers could “see him go down on one knee.” That tale, which also contradicts the latest narrative of Stefani being “relieved” Shelton didn’t propose, didn’t age well either.

Let’s skip to 2018, another year in which HollywoodLies threw everything against the wall, hoping desperately something would stick. On February 5, the repeatedly discredited site posted an article titled, “Blake Shelton Shopping For $ 500K Diamond Ring: Proposing To Gwen Stefani For Valentine’s Day?” It answered its own question by stating, “We hear it could happen” following “rumors that Blake would be proposing to Gwen over Christmas.” Of course, it was that habitually disproven blog that started those “rumors” back in 2016 and again in 2017.

Once that didn’t happen, the outlet waited until November 1 to post a story with the unambiguous headline, “Gwen Stefani Wants An Engagement Ring From Blake Shelton As Their 3rd Anniversary Approaches.” Again, the site’s purported “source close to” Stefani was quoted as saying, “She is hoping this anniversary or holiday season, Blake surprises her with a ring.”

For those keeping track, just 54 days ago, the same outlet that now claims she’s “relieved” the country singer didn’t ask her to marry him, asserted then that Stefani wanted Shelton to give her “a ring” during the “holiday season.” “A ring would truly be the best Christmas present for Gwen,” contended the aptly nicknamed HollywoodLies. A skeptic might say the website simply makes it up as they go along, which is why it’s so wrong so often.

Ordinarily, Gossip Cop doesn’t link to outlets that manufacture phony stories, because it’s our belief they shouldn’t be rewarded for bad reporting, as best, or completely fabricating, at worst. In this case, however, we’ve made an exception (above) because we’d like our readers to see for themselves how HollywoodLife makes up fake articles.

Blake Shelton Gwen Stefani Rumors

(HL)

It’s hard to believe that outlet really has any sources close to Shelton or Stefani, considering how many untrue tales it’s published about them. Not to belabor the point too much more, but it’s also the same blog Gossip Cop busted when it inaccurately maintained in 2017 that Shelton and Stefani got engaged after he supposedly gave her a diamond ring. That never happened, neither did Stefani and Shelton having split up, which HollywoodLies also falsely claimed.

Another total lie Gossip Cop corrected was when the outlet alleged this past May that Stefani was pregnant with Shelton’s baby. Basically, the blog concocts all sorts of stories about their relationship. If, at the end of this, you still think HollywoodLies actually has legitimate and reliable Shelton and Stefani sources, there’s a good chance you also believe Santa Claus is real.

Top Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie Rumor Of 2018: Back Together Again

Brad Pitt Angelina Jolie Top Rumor 2018

(Getty Images)

The tabloids spent much of 2018 publishing false stories about Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s divorce. The top wrong rumor came earlier this year when a tabloid wrongly reported they were getting back together. Gossip Cop debunked the claim when it first emerged, and time has proven the exes never reunited.

In May, Life & Style published a bogus cover story claiming Pitt and Jolie were “secretly dating” again following their 2016 split. According to the magazine, the supposed reunion came after an hour-long phone call, during which the actor gave a “heartfelt apology” to his estranged wife for how his drinking affected their family.

googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display(‘div-gpt-ad-1526939461036-0’); });

An alleged insider told the magazine that the exes started seeing each other several times a week, and “the old feelings” between them were starting to return. The supposed source further contended that the exes were “keeping the reinvigorated relationship under the radar” because they didn’t want to confuse their six children.

When these claims were first published back in May, separate sources close to both Pitt and Jolie assured us the exes weren’t back together. As time has shown, the two never reconciled. Instead, their custody battle intensified. Just one month after Life & Style claimed the estranged spouses were “dating again,” “Entertainment Tonight” reported that Pitt and Jolie “still don’t get along at all.” The reputable celebrity news outer added, “In fact, they can barely be in the same room.”

In June, a judge ordered Jolie to allow Pitt more access to the children or risk losing primary custody of them. In early November, it was reported that Pitt and Jolie’s custody battle would go to trial because they were unable to settle the situation on their own. A few weeks later, Pitt and Jolie finally reached a custody agreement with a private judge, eliminating the need for a trial. As it stands, Pitt has some form of joint legal and physical custody of his kids, but the custody arrangement isn’t yet permeant.

There have been a lot of developments in Pitt and Jolie’s divorce since May, but a reconciliation isn’t one of them. In reality, the estranged spouses have continued fighting over their children, despite making some positive strides as of late. As for getting back together, that premise could only be found in the pages of Life & Style. Pitt and Jolie haven’t reunited in any capacity, and the claim otherwise marks 2018’s top wrong rumor about the exes.
