Reese Witherspoon Dumped On Her Birthday?

Reese Witherspoon was not “dumped” by husband Jim Toth on her 43rd birthday, despite a bogus tabloid report. Gossip Cop can correct the false story. There’s no truth to it.

Last month, a photo emerged of Witherspoon stumbling down the stairs at Jennifer Aniston’s 50th birthday party. Star now alleges that the actress fell because she has “overindulged” in alcohol and her husband was furious about the incident, to the point where he “stormed out” ahead of her birthday on March 22, leaving her to celebrate alone.

The tabloid further contends that Toth is sick of his wife’s alleged boozing, while a supposed source is quoting as saying, “It’s no secret that they’ve had problems, and that people are buzzing their marriage has hit a rough patch.” The questionable insider adds, “Even though the marriage has resolved itself time and again, it’s no secret it’s getting tough. Reese is fiery, and when she drinks, her temper can sometimes get the better of her!”

There’s a ton of evidence to disprove the tabloid’s phony report. On March 24, two days after Witherspoon’s birthday, the actress supported Toth as he ran the Los Angeles marathon. The actress stood on the sidelines along with the couple’s six-year-old son and her two older kids from her first marriage to Ryan Phillippe. Witherspoon and her children cheered on the talent agent as he competed in the race.

Two days later, Witherspoon and Toth were spotted on date night in Santa Monica. Both were smiling as they exited a restaurant. And on Thursday, Witherspoon and Toth stepped out for lunch with the actress’s 15-year-old son. Although it’s unclear how the actress and her husband celebrated her birthday on March 22, it’s quite evident that she didn’t get “dumped.”

Despite the outlet’s story being provably untrue, Gossip Cop still checked in with Witherspoon’s spokesperson, who tells us on the record that it’s flat-out “ridiculous.” Just last week, we busted Star for wrongly alleging that Witherspoon’s marriage was “falling apart.” The premise wasn’t true then and it’s no more accurate now. The happy spouses, who celebrated their eighth wedding anniversary earlier this week, are going strong.

It’s worth noting, Star’s sister publication, OK!, wrongly reported a few weeks ago that Witherspoon and Toth were having another baby. That story wasn’t true either, but it shows how the magazine and its related publications don’t even bother to keep their fake narratives consistent.
