Taylor Swift and Harry Styles are not getting back together, contrary to a widespread report. Gossip Cop can put the brakes on this false tale, which originated in Australia and is now making waves here in the United States. That’s how far fake news can spread.

According to the Australian tabloid New Weekly, also known as NW, “Four years on, Haylor are older, wiser… and ready to give their love another shot!” The gossip magazine alleges Styles and Swift recently had a “super-secret meet-up in Nashville,” which confirmed the “spark” between them is “still there.” A so-called “insider” supposedly “close” to Swift claims she always “secretly hoped” they’d reunite, and believes Styles has now “matured” into the “man she needs.”

And their mutual pal Ed Sheeran is credited for by the publication for bringing “them back together” as their would-be “cupid.” Claims the outlet’s supposed source, “He was only too happy to help.” As for Styles, the tabloid contends he didn’t need “much convincing,” anyway. As proof, NW points to speculation songs on his upcoming solo album are about Swift, and quotes from Styles’ Rolling Stone interview, in which he spoke about their relationship.

That’s evidence all right… evidence of just why the tabloid suddenly ran this story. Much like the gossip magazines here in the U.S. do, NW took a kernel of truth (Styles recently talking about Swift) and built a whole narrative around it (they’re “hanging out on the down-low” and “getting back together”). The timing is just a wee bit suspicious, no?

Another red flag, of course, is that this Australian publication wants readers to believe it has a source “close” to Swift. Let’s be clear: Should she and Styles ever one day actually decide to reunite, it won’t be a tabloid from Down Under breaking the news with anonymous sources. So, all that said, are Swift and Styles actually giving it another go right now?

Absolutely not, Gossip Cop is told by one of our impeccable contacts. And, we’ve confirmed, they haven’t had any secret rendezvous in Nashville, either. But if you’re still not convinced, we again ask you to consider the original source. NW is the same outlet that falsely claimed in a 2014 cover story that Swift and Styles were back together, a made-up tale that similarly alleged the songstress was happy he’d “matured.” It’s also the same tabloid that wrongly announced months before that that Styles was a “dad at 20.” Now we rest our case.

“The Voice” had its first live results show of season 12 on Tuesday, with one artist eliminated and another instantly saved. Get the full recap and find out who made the Top 11 below!

As Gossip Cop has reported, season 12 of the NBC competition began in February with the Blind Auditions. The Battles and Knockouts followed, leading to last week’s Live Playoffs. Over two nights, the four teams were cut in half so each coach was left with three contestants: Two voted in by America and one chosen by the coach him or herself. All together, that left 12 competitors.

And on Monday, the Top 12 took the stage, each performing in hopes of winning viewers’ votes. Most successful it would seem was Brennley Brown (Team Gwen), who was the only artist to rank in the top 10 on iTunes. That won her the coveted vote multiplier, so it was no surprise on Tuesday when host Carson Daly announced she was the first safe from elimination.

One by one, Daly continued to reveal which artists had made it through to the Top 11 until two singers were left in jeopardy: Troy Ramey (Team Gwen) and Mark Isaiah (Team Adam). For the first Instant Save this season, they would perform once more in hopes of winning redemption. As has become tradition, viewers would then vote on Twitter in real time for the artist they most wanted to get a second chance.

For their respective shots at staying in the competition, Ramey performed first, singing “Drift Away.” Isaiah followed with “When I Was Your Man.” The five-minute voting window then opened up. After that period ended, Daly announced ISAIAH had WON! Unfortunately, that meant Ramey was now eliminated.

Looking ahead to next week, the new Top 11 stands as follows: Blake Shelton still has all of his artists, Lauren Duski, Aliyah Moulden and T Soul. Alicia Keys keeps her three, Vanessa Ferguson, Chris Blue and Stephanie Rice. Thanks to the Instant Save, Adam Levine still has Isaiah, as well as Jesse Larson and Lilli Passero. And now due to the elimination, Stefani is down to Brown and Hunter Plake.

Nick Viall and Peta Murgatroyd struggled on Monday’s “Dancing With The Stars.” They danced a jive to The Beach Boys’s Fun, Fun, Fun.” Watch the video below.

While in jeopardy of being eliminated last week, Viall wowed the “Dancing With The Stars” judges with his jazz routine to “I’ve Got No Strings” from Pinocchio. No lie, all the judges loved his performance. Carrie Ann Inaba exclaimed, “You were fantastic!” And Len Goodman noted, “Watching that dance, you made me feel better.” Julianne Hough and Bruno Tonioli also praised “The Bachelor” for his improvement on the dance floor. Even though he knew he was on the verge of being sent home, Viall stepped up his footwork to receive his highest score of the season, a total of 34 out of 40 points.

This week, Viall tired his hardest again in the ballroom. Of his jive, Goodman said, “I wasn’t feeling the good vibrations.” Tonioli remarked “I loved the effort.” Inaba remarked, “I like watching you enjoy the process.” And Nick Carter, who was on Season 21, stated, “You got to work on the moves a little more.” For his effort, Viall received 28 out of 40 points. He’s finally starting to malfunction, y’all.

Irrelevant, self-serving rantings are something we’ve grown to expect from Donald Trump, and his latest interview with the Associated Press certainly did not disappoint.

Not only did POTUS rattle off some of his signature contradictory bull during Friday’s sit-down, but based on the full transcript, his responses are getting closer and closer to just straight up nonsense!

The President babbled his way through the one-on-one interview so incoherently that the word “unintelligible” appeared on the transcript 16 times, meaning whatever Trump was saying was impossible to transcribe.

First off, he admitted being Commander-in-Chief is a LOT harder than he ever thought it would be, saying:

“Well the one thing I would say — and I say this to people — I never realized how big it was. Everything’s so [unintelligible] like, you know the orders are so massive.”

Big boy orders for a big boy job! Like when Trump decided to launch the Syrian missile strike — which, by the way, he had quite the moral debate about… we think.

In regards to the responsibility he felt behind ordering the airstrikes — including one that “misdirected” and killed 18 allied Syrian fighters — Trump eloquently explained:

“[I]f this missile goes off and lands in the middle of a town or a hamlet …. every decision is much harder than you’d normally make. [unintelligible] … This is involving death and life and so many things. … So it’s far more responsibility. [unintelligible] ….The financial cost of everything is so massive, every agency.”

No loss is more tragic than financial loss. Smh.

Don’t worry, Trump also covered his usual bases, like how the press is mean to him and (don’t forget!) he pulled off one helluva electoral college win back in November!

In case you didn’t know just how hard it is for a Republican to win the election, Trump spelled it out:

“The Democrats, they have a big advantage in the electoral college. Big, big, big advantage. I’ve always said the popular vote would be a lot easier than the electoral college. The electoral college — but it’s a whole different campaign [unintelligible]. The electoral college is very difficult for a Republican to win.”

When he got to his obligatory “dishonest press” section, Trump admitted he thought the media would have his back in the general election. He continued:

“It happened during the primaries, and I said, you know, when I won, I said, ‘Well the one thing good is now I’ll get good press.’ And it got worse. [unintelligible] So that was one thing that a little bit of a surprise to me. I thought the press would become better, and it actually, in my opinion, got more nasty.”

None of these adversarial outlets is “more nasty” than Trump’s ultimate nemesis, CNN, though it’s hard to say whether or not he still watches the network.

After mentioning he saw something on CNN, the following exchange went down:

TRUMP: “The one thing I’ve learned to do that I never thought I had the ability to do. I don’t watch CNN anymore.”
AP: “You just said you did.”
TRUMP: “No. No, I, if I’m passing it, what did I just say [inaudible]?”
AP: “You just said –”
TRUMP: “Where? Where?”
AP: “Two minutes ago.”

LOLz! (We have to laugh so we don’t cry…)

As for what’s next, Trump teased the upcoming unveiling of his big tax reform plan, which his administration has been… uh… working on? He said:

“We’ve been working on it [unintelligible]. Secretary Mnuchin is a very talented person, very smart. Very successful [unintelligible]. … We’re going to be putting that out on Wednesday or shortly thereafter. Let me leave a little room just in case [unintelligible].”

And those are just the lowlights!

On Sunday’s “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” Kris Jenner became furious with Caitlyn Jenner after reading a copy of her new memoir, in which she reveals private details about their marriage. Get the full episode recap below!

Early on in the show, Rob Kardashian posted a series of distressing Snapchat videos in which he reveals Blac Chyna moved out of their house with their baby daughter, Dream. Kim and Corey Gamble went to Rob’s house to check on him, and Rob assured them he didn’t feel “suicidal,” but “wanted people to know that I’m hurt and this is fu**ed up.” He added, “I bet money she does not come back to me.” Kim told her brother, “I’ve always been super cool with her. I have a different relationship with her than what you guys have with Kylie and I always hear her out and stuff, but just seeing the motives is what’s hurtful.” Rob noted, “That’s what I need to know from her in person,” but Kim told him, “She’ll never tell you!”

Kim added in an on-camera confessional, “I’ve always felt like them as a couple just isn’t that healthy and I think they know that too. Rob can be really irrational and he just has to learn to really take responsibility for himself and not blame Chyna.” But Rob continued venting his frustration, saying about Chyna, “You had a baby with me. I would expect you to be in love with me… I wouldn’t expect that to be lies and fake.” Kim added on-camera, “It’s so clear what this relationship is and that they’re just not meant to be with each other.” The next day, however, Rob and Chyna made up and he traveled with her to a nightclub appearance in New York City.

Khloe said in a confessional, “Apparently Rob and Chyna are back together and that makes me sad for Rob.” The sisters called Rob regarding the situation with Chyna, and after he confirmed they were on good terms again, Khloe told him, “She texted all your sisters and said she’s disgusted by you and ready to leave you. You’re staying in something so dark and toxic?” Kim added, “We just think that it’s a really toxic relationship and we’d love you to focus on being a dad and focus on yourself.” But Rob got angry at the suggestion he break up with Chyna and told the girls, “You guys are speaking out of your ass. Stop being stupid.” After he hung up the phone, Kylie offered, “He’s so delusional.”

Kourtney later spoke to Scott Disick about Rob and Chyna’s complicated relationship, telling him that her brother wanted to film another season of their reality show, “Rob & Chyna,” but she thought it was a bad idea. “I think he wants to do it for the wrong unhealthy reasons, thinking that it’s hanging on to his relationship when it’s not,” Kourtney said. Later, Rob sat down with his mom and insisted he wants to be in a relationship with Chyna despite the family’s concerns about the model being bad for him. “Her and I are completely fine right now,” said Rob, and Kris agreed to let her son make his own decision regarding his love life. Rob later wrote the entire family an email letting them know he was grateful they cared about his well-being, but was “working through [his] issues” with Chyna.

Later, Caitlyn called Kris and suggested they get together. The momager was hesitant, but ultimately agreed, adding in a confessional, “My emotions are definitely a roller coaster when it comes to Cait… For the sake of my kids, I’m really trying to be a good friend.” The former Olympian then stopped by Kris’s house to deliver a copy of her new memoir, The Secrets of My Life, and the ex-couple ended up chatting over a bottle of wine. Kris noted in a confessional she believed Caitlyn and her were taking “a really positive step in a great direction” by being cordial with one another. The transgender star then told her ex-wife that she had left her gun at the home and now wanted it back. “The only problem that I have with the gun is it’s registered in my old name,” Caitlyn explained. “I’ve got to get that changed… But in some states, I think if you go through gender confirmation surgery it’s the only way you can.” On that note, Kris exclaimed, “What? Would you have done that?” After pressing the topic further, Caitlyn shot back, “You know what, don’t even go down this road cause I’m not talking about it.” Caitlyn tried to change the subject, but Kris then quipped, “I always wondered why you peed sitting down.”

Kris later told daughters Kim and Khloe that she read Caitlyn’s book, “and basically the only nice thing she had to say was that I was great socially at a party one time.” Kim responded, “But yet, he stayed married to you the longest. So, it doesn’t make sense.” The momager added, “None of it makes sense. Everything she says is all made up.” Kris went on to explain how Caitlyn claims in her memoir that Kris knew her then-husband felt like a woman while they were married, but the momager insists that wasn’t the case. Kim said in a confessional, “My mom’s been putting in so much effort trying so hard to have a good relationship for their kids together. Caitlyn has every right to feel however she feels, but why bring my mom into it one more time? I just feel so bad for my mom.”

Kris went on to note that she’s “really tried hard to improve the relationship and spend a little bit of time” with Caitlyn, but she’s tired of opening her “home and my heart to a person who doesn’t give a sh*t. So, I’m done.” She added, “I’ve never been so angry and disappointed in somebody in my whole life. I’m done!”

What a weird weekend at the box office!

We knew The Fate Of The Furious was going to keep doing well, so let’s get that one out of the way first, because the numbers continue to be staggering: in its second weekend out in theaters, Furious 8 did $ 38.7 million, which gives it a domestic ten-day total now at $ 163.6 million!

Globally, the film is doing even better, with a $ 908.4 million haul globally, including an unheard-of $ 318 million in China alone, making it quite literally one of the most popular movies in the history of the world!!!

But that’s not really where the story was, as it instead centers on two MASSIVE flops: Unforgettable and The Promise.

Unforgettable, starring Katherine Heigl, opened at just $ 4.8 million, which is a career worst for the actress. There’s good news here — the film only cost $ 12 million to make — but there’s no question that’s a REALLY bad opener for a film with higher expectations and some star power (Rosario Dawson and Geoff Stults in addition to Heigl).

The other big bust at the box office was Christian Bale‘s new move The Promise, a film about the Armenian genocide that cost an astounding $ 100 million to make and brought in just $ 4.1 million in its first weekend out in theaters.

The entire film was financed by one man — the late Kirk Kerkorian, who was of Armenian descent — and producers are pushing it as a win for the awareness surrounding Armenian genocide, but there’s no question the film itself, from a business standpoint, was a massive flop in theaters.

Two more minor films also opened in theaters this weekend, too: Phoenix Forgotten ($ 2 million opener from 1,592 theaters), and Free Fire ($ 1 million from 1,070 theaters).

Neither one of those movies were expected to be anywhere near as big as Unforgettable or The Promise, but each was expected to do better than they did. Oops.

Tough weekend at the box office?!

And now, another shoe drops on the ongoing controversies surrounding Fox News.

TV host and journalist Alisyn Camerota has come out on Sunday revealing that she was sexually harassed by Roger Ailes during her time working for the network, and she revealed it all in a tell-all interview with Brian Stetler on CNN‘s Reliable Sources.

Speaking frankly in a very serious sit-down interview, Camerota recounted her tale of Ailes trying to get, um, closer to her during her work for the network.

Camerota said, in part:

“It feels as though, if I take the Murdochs at their word, they really want to know what was wrong there and what the culture was like. Yes, Roger Ailes did sexually harass me.”

Wow.

Now, for Ailes’ part, his attorney Susan Estrich completely denied the account, saying:

“These are unsubstantiated and false allegations. Mr. Ailes never engaged in the inappropriate conversations she now claims occurred, and he vigorously denies this fictional account of her interactions with him and of Fox News’ editorial policy.”

Camerota worked at Fox for more than a decade, and worked specifically with Ailes to a large degree during her tiem on air.

She noted how there was more than one aspect to Ailes’ personality and work at the network:

“Let me be clear. Roger Ailes was — could be charming. He could be quite charismatic. He could be uproariously funny. He could also be a bit of a bully, and mean. And he also was often kind of grossly inappropriate with things that he would say, and I think that many of us experienced that. He would talk about body parts. He would say ‘Give me a spin.’ He would want to be greeted with a hug. But the time that I remember most. was when I was first starting out at Fox and I was single, and I remember Roger, being in Roger’s office, and I was saying that I wanted more opportunity. He said ‘Well, I would have to work with you. I would have to work with you on that case. I would have to work with you really closely, and it may require us getting to know each other better, and that might have to happen away from here, and it might have to happen at a hotel. Do you know what I’m saying?’ And I said ‘Yeah, I think I do know what you’re saying.'”

Protesters and the Kardashian family haven’t really seen eye-to-eye lately — or ever — and it’s not just Kendall Jenner taking heat!

Last night in Las Vegas, Kylie Jenner was attending the grand opening of Sugar Factory (pictured at the event above) when she paused for photos on the red carpet at the event… and promptly got “bum rushed” by protesters!!!

There’s a context here, of course: the protesters were animal rights activists, and they were there specifically to heckle and shout down Kylie over her stance on wearing fur.

They screamed that Kylie had “blood on [her] hands” as the exasperated reality TV star clearly looked annoyed and disheveled.

As you’ll see above, she wasn’t wearing any fur to the event, but this was a pre-planned thing and the activists wanted to make it clear that it wasn’t cool for her to sport fur in the past.

The protesters didn’t physically touch Kylie, but they were VERY loud — and it all happened so quickly and so strongly, it forced Miz Jenner to cut her photo set short and flee for cover!
