‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ star Teresa Giudice reportedly is still trying to make moves to avoid having to report to prison on January 5, 2015. So what’s her latest strategy? It’s one her husband, Joe Giudice, might not be too thrilled with. RELATED: Teresa Giudice says good-bye to ‘RHONJ.’

Sources told Radar Online that Teresa wants:

Joe to go to rehab first. Teresa’s lawyers would then ask the judge to delay the surrender date because there wouldn’t be a parent in the house to take care of their four daughters.”

Joe is said to be “extremely angry” with this new strategy, especially since Teresa has always said before that she doesn’t believe he has a drinking problem. Joe also supposedly feels:

going to rehab early and postponing Teresa’s prison sentence would only delay the inevitable, and he doesn’t seem the point in dragging this on anymore.”

He kinda has a point there. It’s probably better for Teresa to go ahead and get it over with rather than having this sentence continue to hang over her head. I know that’s easier said than done, but it’s the truth. Desperate people resort to desperate measures, though. I wouldn’t be surprised if this story was Fact.

It was a low-key weekend afternoon for Reese Witherspoon. She spent it hanging out with the fam at the farmer’s market in LA. Deacon didn’t appear to be with them, but everyone else was: Jim Toth, Ava, and little Tennessee. RELATED: Get Reese Witherspoon’s look from the ‘Wild’ premiere.

Reese and Tennessee got to pet some of the animals there before they moved on over to the food area. Ava is following the current punk-inspired trend with her hair color, as you can see: that is one bright shade of pink – LOL. She can now be easily distinguished from her mother, however.

Ava also appeared to be the doting big sister. You can see her holding Tennessee in some of the pictures in the gallery once Reese got down to business picking up produce. This makes me wish I lived in the dessert out west, where the weather stays pretty mild year-round. The farmer’s markets are closed in my neck of the woods.

Melanie Sykes might find she has competition in the exhibitionist stakes as Nadia Forde has decided that if she can’t beat them, join them.

Here’s former ‘Twilight’ star Robert Pattinson hanging out with his girlfriend, FKA Twigs. The two went out for lunch in LA. Robert even got a little “handsy” with his girlfriend in front of the cameras. After a recent interview FKA Twigs gave, they seem well-suited for each other to me. FKA Twigs, who is a singer, told Rolling Stone she has no desire to be famous.

I’m not thirsty. I’m not a pop star. I don’t want to reign over all forever. I don’t want to be famous! It makes me feel sick, the thought of being a famous person. It’s just not me. I’m the happiest when I’m in the studio, not on a beauty parade.”

That seems to be very much how Robert feels about being a movie star. On one hand, I can understand. Since the world found out FKA Twigs was dating Robert, people sent her racists messages via twitter.

It was all this crazy, racist abuse out of nowhere. But if you’re an artist, you have to use everything to your advantage, even the pain.”

She responded on twitter with a statement of her own.

I am genuinely shocked and disgusted at the amount of racism that has been infecting my account the past week. Racism is unacceptable in the real world and it’s unacceptable online.”

Hear, hear! Good for her for standing up for herself. Racism is unacceptable in any form.

Yet I have to wonder, with both her and Robert, if they hate fame so much, then WHY do things that put them in the spotlight? I mean, you can act, and sing, without becoming a high profile entertainer. Dating a high-profile entertainer is one way to raise your own profile (which is why Jessica Chastain, for example, won’t date other celebrities). It just all seems a tad bit disingenuous to me.

We haven’t seen much of Billy Ray lately; it’s good to see that he still has contact with his kids. I’ve lost track: are he and Tish Cyrus together or apart at this point? Last I heard in 2013 they were divorcing. They’ve been keeping pretty quiet, so I haven’t seen pics of either one of them except if they’re with Miley. It’s good that she’s maintaining relationships with both of her parents, at least. It’s not easy when your parents are having troubles, even when you’re an adult!

Things got pretty quiet for Billy Ray, professionally, once Miley outgrew ‘Hannah Montana’ and ended the show. It’s how careers go in show business: you’re lucky to get a few hot years, then things calm down for most entertainers. Maybe he and Miley will collaborate on something again one day.
