Jennifer’s been in some high-profile relationships, from Sean “P. Diddy” Combs to Ben Affleck to her marriage to Marc Anthony. Jennifer wrote:

I’ve never gotten a black eye or a busted lip, but I’ve felt abused in one way or another: mentally, emotionally, verbally.”

Hmmm… Jennifer explained why she chose to write her memoir.

It started out as fan book, a diary of the years I went on tour. But it turned into something else. As I started looking at things, it helped me face a lot. I would never go into specifics about my relationships, and I don’t. But the idea was that I learned something.”

I might have to check this book out! She’s had, and continues to have, such an amazing career as well as quite a colorful personal life. Are you interested?

We all know Lena’s position. You have so much work to do, sleep feels like a luxury, even if it really is a necessity. Hopefully Lena got some rest. She’s in the middle of a book tour for her new memoir, ‘Not That Kind of Girl,’ so I’m sure she’s busy. How about you: are you ready to rise and shine? Need a cup of coffee first? I completely understand!

I really love Aaliyah, she was really wonderful. She made the best music  and I used to listen to her music over and over again, non-stop. I can’t wait to see this movie!!! Lifetime has been making some good movies, so I can’t wait…I have faith that this will do her justice and maybe show some of the younger people what a true talent she was!!!

Lifetime’s Original Movie, Aaliyah: The Princess of R&B, premieres Saturday, November 15, at 8pm ET/PT, starring Alexandra Shipp (House of Anubis) as the beloved actress and music sensation

The movie is based on the bestseller Aaliyah: More Than a Woman by former Time Magazine music editor Christopher John Farley (Game World) and chronicles the Superstar’s Rise to Fame and Tragic Death.

Before Beyonce and before Rihanna, self-proclaimed “street but sweet” Aaliyah was poised to become a global icon with top-selling albums, a hot movie career and an adoring fan base. The film follows the beautiful and talented performer’s inspirational journey, from her debut on Star Search at the age of ten, to the challenges she faced during her rise to become the Princess of R&B. On August 25, 2001, at the height of her popularity, her life was tragically cut short when a plane carrying the singer and some of her video crew crashed after takeoff from a Bahamian runway. Although just 22-years-old at the time of her death, Aaliyah continues to lead a legacy as Billboard’s tenth most famous R&B artist of the past 25 years and one of the recording industry’s most successful artists in history.

The two-hour movie is executively produced by Howard Braunstein, Debra Martin Chase and Wendy Williams.

I’m eagerly anticipating her new show, ‘State of Affairs.’ The premiere date still has me baffled. It will debut on November 17 on NBC. That’s the week before Thanksgiving. Most shows are going on hiatus then!

On one hand, I get it: since most shows will go off the air or start showing reruns, it could mean less competition for ‘State of Affairs.’ On the other hand, there’s a reason most shows go into reruns at that point: people are too busy with holiday activities to watch TV. Who’s going to be available to tune in? I guess we’ll find out in a couple of weeks. I’m hoping for a good show that manages to get an audience.
