Since Mirror Mirror didn’t perform as well as Hollywood had hoped and Snow White and the Huntsman is about to explode into the summer box office, Disney has decided to stop making more movies based on the classic fairy tale.
Order Of The Seven, a production that substituted dwarfs for samurai warriors and Kristen Stewart for Hannah‘s Soairse Ronan, has been shelved.
The project has reportedly been in the works for a decade, but thanks to too many other Snow White movies and a giant budget, it’s not going to get made.
It’s kind of a shame because the plot sounds like the coolest take on the tale yet. We would have rather watched seven samurai fight an evil queen over Mirror Mirror any day!
