Johnny Depp has done many movies during his long career in Hollywood, while most are brilliant (like Edward Scissorhands) not all have been well received.

Like his film The Rum Diary aka where he met his soon-to-be wife Amber Heard.

So what do you do when you have movies that absolutely FLOP at the box office?

Learn to not give a f*ck! That’s what Johnny does!

J.Depp explained in a recent interview that he learned this strategy from none-other-than Marlon Brando himself!

He said:

“As Marlon once so beautifully f*cking said to me, life is a birdsong. That’s stuck with me. What is really satisfying is, like Marlon, getting to that place where he just didn’t give a f*ck.

First, I reached a point where I cared so much and was so diligent in terms of approaching the work.Then you get to where you care so f**king much that it gets goddamn beleaguering, you know?

But then a great thing happens. Suddenly you care enough to not give a f**k, because not giving a f**k, that’s the total liberation. Being game to try anything.”

Ya know, we think this is absolutely a brilliant strategy!

Sure, the movies may not have been successful, but as long as you enjoyed making them and thought your work was good, then… Who really gives a f*ck?
