Another Hollywood couple is calling it quits. Former ‘Twilight’ star Nikki Reed and ‘American Idol’ alum Paul McDonald announced their split last night. It sounds like distance was the problem.
Nikki’s rep released a statement to People.
After much consideration, Nikki Reed and Paul McDonald are ending their marriage. They have been living separately for the past 6 months due to work obligations.
“They will continue to share their love of music, and are still working on their debut album, I’m Not Falling, releasing in 2014. They remain best friends and look forward to their continued journey together.”
Well, things can’t be TOO bad if they’re still able to collaborate on an album together, can they?

Nikki and Paul married in October 2011. Maintaining a marriage in the entertainment industry isn’t easy. At least they are able to keep things amicable.
