Reese Witherspoon Goes Out On A Date

Well, we don’t know if Reese Witherspoon was out on a date with talent agent Jim Toth (he works at Creative Artists Agency, CAA, where Reese is a client), but according to onlookers, it looked like a date 🙂

After greeting each other with a hug and settling into a corner table, the pair “were very flirtatious throughout dinner,” says a fellow diner. “They were having a lot of fun, totally getting along and laughing and talking the whole dinner. Reese seemed very happy. She was smiling all dinner. The mood was upbeat and really good.

“Reese reached around his neck and pulled him close for a hug,” says the onlooker. “They kissed bye on the cheek – but it was a very friendly goodbye.”

A source close to Reese told People it was just a business dinner, but a source close to Jim said it was a date but “nothing serious.” Apparently, Jim has the reputation of being a “ladies man” and is “enjoying the single life.”

It doesn’t sound like that’s a problem for Reese, though, if what this person says is true:

“Reese is in a good place,” a friend told PEOPLE at the time of her split. “She’s doing things for her these days. She’s married to her kids right now, and they’re honestly her first love.”
