Penn Badgley & Uma Thurman Film "The Slap"I had NO idea Uma Thurman was doing a TV show! She is; a couple of months ago she was cast to replace former ‘Weeds’ star Mary-Louise Parker in the NBC miniseries ‘The Slap.’ Here she is shooting with former ‘Gossip Girl’ star Penn Badgley. ‘The Slap’ is based on a hit Australian TV series about a man who slaps another couple’s child. Oh boy. NBC is making it an eight-episode miniseries. Melissa George, Thandie Newton, Peter Sarsgaard and Zachary Quinto also star. Talk about an impressive cast!

This premise is intriguing to me. I’ll be keeping an eye out for a trailer. Does ‘The Slap’ sound good to you?
