Zendaya, formerly the star of Disney’s Shake It Up and the runner up on Season 16 of Dancing With The Stars, has just landed the role of a lifetime… on Lifetime.
According to Variety, the singer/actress is set to star as the late R&B singer Aaliyah, who died in a plane crash in 2001 at the age of 22, in a Lifetime bio pic titled Aaliyah: Princess of R&B.
For her role, Zendaya will actually be recording four of Aaliyah’s songs which will be used in the bio pics soundtrack.
