According to a number of reports, Naomi Campbell and her Russian billionaire beau Vladimir Doronin are engaged.

Rumors escalated after Doronin supposedly “confirmed” the news to an online outlet in Russia.

While he “refused to go into details about the big day,” claims Daily Express, the tycoon “spoke candidly” about the couple’s bridesmaid choice.

“I can’t say it took us long to decide who will be bridesmaid,” Doronin is quoted as saying. “We are good friends with Dasha Zhukova, she is a wonderful person and talented designer. So she will be next to Naomi at our wedding.”

The Express mentions that Doronin failed to say “when the wedding will take place.”

Gossip Cop knows why: There is no engagement.

A representative for Campbell tells Gossip Cop the rumor the couple plans to wed is “not true.”

On the day Oprah Winfrey premiered the new trailer for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse on her program, word arrived of an even bigger vampire invasion next month.

Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, and Dakota Fanning are all scheduled to appear on “Oprah” on May 13 to promote Eclipse.

Pattinson, Stewart, and Lautner appeared together on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” back in November for New Moon.

Gossip Cop will report on more promotional events for Eclipse as the June 30 release nears.

Russell Hantz of television’s “Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains” was arrested this morning after attacking someone at a Louisiana street festival.

Hantz was partying at the Festival International de Louisiane in downtown Lafayette when there was a “disturbance” with a woman around 2:00 AM, law enforcement sources tell Gossip Cop.

We’re told it was an alleged case of “simple battery.”

A “villain” on the still-airing “Survivor” season, Hantz was jailed because he did not have any identification with him. Otherwise, Lafayette City police would likely have just issued a summons. Instead, Hantz was taken into custody.

The official could not comment on whether he’d been released.

Hantz was the runner-up on “Survivor: Samoa.”

Christina Ricci might want to check her couch cushions for loose change.

According to a federal tax lien filed earlier this month, the actress owes the Internal Revenue Service $179,568.30 in unpaid taxes from 2008.

A representative for the Addams Family star claims Ricci learned about the lien on Wednesday, and is taking “immediate action to address it in a responsible manner,” reports TMZ.

If Ricci wants advice on paying up, she probably shouldn’t consult Pamela Anderson.

Amanda Peet was slated to appear on “Late Show with David Letterman” on Tuesday to promote her film, Please Give, but she had to cancel.

Her excuse?

She went into labor early.

Peet and her husband David Beniof, who wrote the screenplays for Troy and Wolverine, welcomed a second child, Molly June Benioff.

Molly joins three-year-old sister Frances. 

We’re told mother and baby are doing well.

Last September, rumors circulated that Kate Hudson was pregnant. She wasn’t.

A month later, baby buzz returned. It was just as wrong the second time.

Now, with spring here and blogs in a tizzy about the size of Hudson’s breasts, one site stumbled upon a completely original theory: She must be pregnant!

Rumors of implants seem “hilarious” to The Superficial, because it’s “clearly the case” that Hudson “just got knocked up by some random dude,” illustrating the point with photos of the actress… um, not really looking too pregnant.

But The Superficial cries gestation without hesitation.

“If Kate Hudson isn’t pregnant, then I obviously don’t understand female anatomy.”

There may be a biology class in The Superficial’s future.

A source close to the star tells Gossip Cop she isn’t expecting another child.
