George Clooney may be politically active, but the actor who has been talked about as a possible candidate says, “I didn’t live my life in the right way for politics, you know.”
He tells Newsweek, “I f—ed too many chicks and did too many drugs, and that’s the truth.â€
Uh, sounds like he’s perfect for politics.
Still, Clooney says a good politician gets all the skeletons out early, noting he “would start from the beginning by saying, ‘I did it all. I drank the bong water. Now let’s talk about issues.’ That’s gonna be my campaign slogan: ‘I drank the bong water.’”
Clooney, however, spends less time focusing on U.S. politics than he does on the Sudan, where he’s devoted considerable effort drawing attention to the war-torn region.
About the relief workers in that area, Clooney says, “These guys have a day job that pays them nothing and is dangerous… My day job pays very well, and the worst thing that happens is you get some bad food from craft service.â€
Clooney stars as a politician in the upcoming film, The Ides of March.

Beyonce and Jay-Z seem like two perfectly happy married super-duper stars.
For some reason, this really bothers MediaTakeOut.
Last week, the site unleashed the so-called “BLOCKBUSTER news” that the couple was taking a “trial separation” because Beyonce was reluctant to have children.
Gossip Cop busted MTO for making up the alleged breakup.
With Beyonce and Jay-Z looking anything but “separated” as they laughed courtside at the NBA All-Star Game this weekend, MediaTakeOut had to backtrack in a hurry.
But instead of just cutting its losses and moving on, MTO invents ANOTHER story to explain the couple’s togetherness.
Jay-Z allegedly convinced Beyonce to have kids after all, says the site’s “insider,” who claims that she is “set to BEGIN FERTILITY TREATMENTS.”
And what evidence does MediaTakeOut provide?
Photos of Jay-Z supposedly standing outside of Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles, where the couple “showed up” to “begin the fertility process.”
Except the pictures are missing a few things.
Like Beyonce.
In fact, all MTO can muster are three snapshots of Jay-Z in front of the hospital, with his famous wife nowhere in sight.
That’s it.
Forgive Gossip Cop if we aren’t exactly convinced about the alleged treatments, especially given MediaTakeOut’s spotty (cough) track record when it comes to all things Beyonce.

Lindsay Lohan will go to jail if she pleads guilty or even no contest in her felony theft case.
Any plea is an admission that she violated her probation, the judge indicated in court today.
Should she choose the plea bargain, the only question, according to Judge Keith Schwartz, would be for how long she’d be behind bars.
But first, to gain more insight, the judge requested that he receive “psychological information” about Lohan.
Nothing was officially decided today.
Lohan has until her next court date on March 10 to decide whether she’ll plea bargain or risk a year in state prison by going to trial.
“I want you to get on with your life,” said a compassionate Schwartz. “I don’t want you to be a repeat offender.”
He recommended that she receive “psychological counseling on a regular basis,” and that she “get a reliable, trustworthy sponsor” who is not related to her in any way, and whose only motivation is that Lohan succeed.
In the next two weeks, Lohan will be conferring with her attorney Shawn Chapman Holley to decide whether to plea bargain.

Actor George Clooney says he can’t be the President of the United States because he has “f**ked too many chicks and did too many drugs, and that’s the truth.”
Clooney made that statement and others during a recent interview with Newsweek while adding “I didn’t live my life in the right way for politics.”
The A-Lister went on to add that a politician could get past his escapades if they just:
“Start from the beginning by saying, ‘I did it all. I drank the bong water. Now let’s talk about issues.”
He even joked:
“That’s gonna be my campaign slogan: ‘I drank the bong water.’”
Realistic in his point? Perhaps, but he’s also always funny and charming, after all that’s the George Clooney way.
