The South African all-girls school founded by Oprah Winfrey has seen a few scandals pass through the institutions halls and this week a newborn baby was found dead in a bag belonging to a 17-year-old student.
The body was found after the girl who attends the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls, 25 miles south of Johannesburg placed the baby in a plastic bag. The teen is said to have handed over the bag to hospital officials after being admitted for excessive bleeding.
Investigators have not said whether or not the child died of natural causes or at the hands of the student who remains in the hospital at this time.

Since opening in 2007, the $40 million school has consistently come under public scrutiny. The latest scandal comes four years after the school’s former dorm matron was accused of molesting students. Virginia Tiny Makopo was eventually acquitted of the charges. Additionally, in March, 2009, four pupils were expelled and another three suspended for alleged “inappropriate behavior,†which reportedly included “sexual misconduct.â€

Lindsay Lohan will be getting back to work as early as this summer, the actress confirms to Gossip Cop.
Should Lohan remain prison-free, she’ll be starring in a film titled Escaping the Game. The movie is about celebrities who can’t handle the attention brought about by their fame and, as a result, flee to a remote island after faking their deaths or mysteriously disappearing.
Lohan is slated to play a woman who investigates these odd disappearances.

Ashley Judd is in negotiations to star in “Missing,” which would be her first TV series leading role.
The ABC action-drama, expected to debut in the fall, follows a former CIA agent as she travels abroad in search of her son.
A source close to the actress confirmed to Gossip Cop that she’s “in negotiations.”
Better known for her film work, Judd has appeared on “Sisters” and “Star Trek: The Next Generation.”

Joe Jonas charmed Ashley Greene for her birthday… with a costly charm bracelet.
While celebrating her (upcoming) 24th birthday at the Las Vegas nightclub Pure, Greene said the gold Chanel bracelet she was wearing on her right wrist was a gift from Jonas.
“The funny thing about it is when I got it, my boyfriend said it’s vintage Coach – and I was like ‘Thanks so much’” said Greene, adding, “And then I put it on and was like, ‘Oh my god, this is Chanel.’”
“It was very cute and sweet and adorable to me because my boyfriend gave it to me,” said Greene, who noted, “Coach, Chanel… makes no difference to him … I absolutely love it because he knows what I like.”
The couple danced all night at the Twilight star’s Candyland-themed birthday party, which had giant lollipops and a three-tiered birthday cake decorated with sweets.
Greene turns 24 tomorrow.

Amanda Seyfried conducted an interview with Justin Timberlake… in the nude.
In a cover story for  the March issue of Interview magazine, Seyfried spoke to Timberlake about her upcoming film, Little Red Riding Hood, while wearing nothing.
“I’m most comfortable in my birthday suit,” admit Seyfried to Timberlake, who felt, ”Well if that’s how you’d like to be interviewed then that’s totally fine.”
One thing, though. Seyfried’s interview with Timberlake – her costar in the upcoming film Now – was conducted over the phone.
During Seyfried’s naked talk with the singer, she confronted criticism that Little Red Riding is very similar to Twilight, both directed by Catherine Hardwicke.
The two films involve the supernatural and have plotlines about a love triangle.
Still, Seyfriend contended, “We have so many elements that make it completely different… We’ve modernized the story.”
She noted that the classic tale was adapted in its own unique way. “We’re just telling a story – our version of the story. It’s not everybody’s version of the story, but it’s the way we wanted to make it,” said Seyfriend, adding, “If you don’t like it then tough.”

Liam Neeson’s thriller Unknown beat the Alex Pettyfer–Dianna Agron sci-fi flick I Am Number Four for the top spot this weekend.
Unknown took in $21.8 million, while I am Number Four earned $19.5 million, edging out Gnomeo & Juliet, which nabbed third with $19.4 million.
Just Go With It and Martin Lawrence’s fat suit extravaganza Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son came in fourth and fifth place with $18.2 million and $17 million, respectively.
Rounding out the Top Ten were Justin Bieber’s biopic Never Say Never ($13.6 million), Oscar contender The King’s Speech ($6.5 million), The Roommate ($4.6 million), The Eagle ($4.1 million) and No Strings Attached ($3.4 million).

Paris Hilton and her boyfriend Cy Waits are getting serious enough that he may soon “put a ring on it.”
The couple visited Jacob & Co. luxury jewelers in New York recently, where they checked out engagement rings.
Hilton and the nightclub kingpin have been dating since last summer.
While they didn’t leave the store with an engagement ring, Hilton and Waits did walk out with birthday bling – a $25,000 white gold and black diamond bauble for Hilton’s 30th.
It remains to be seen whether Waits pops the question, but it may not be long until Paris and Cy tie the knot.

Camille Grammer, who recently appeared on “$#*! My Dad Says,” just got another TV gig.
The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star will do on-air commentary for CNN’s coverage of the Oscars next Sunday. Grammer will be part of the red carpet team for “Showbiz Tonight.”
“We can’t wait to get Camille’s unabashed take on Hollywood’s biggest night. She will be perfect for ‘Showbiz Tonight,’” the show’s executive producer Dave Levine said in a statement.
Grammer finalized her divorce from ex-husband Kelsey a week and a half ago.
