The death of Michael Jackson has turned into a gold mine for his estate with an estimated $310 million being earned since the singers death in 2009.
According to documents obtained by TMZ, Jackson died with approximately $400 million in worldwide debts, while $310 million has already been made from his death with nearly half of that money already being spent.
Of that $310 million owed, executors have paid back $159 million in debt, income taxes and other expenses including family support for Jackson’s mother Katherine.
Also included in expenses were illness and memorial service charges.
According to the legal documents, Jackson’s estate has received more than 65 claims from creditors with some asking for extremely high interest rates.

“Guess what? Another man did get between Ashlee & Pete,” writes Perez Hilton, who adds, “And his name is Joe Simpson.”
Recalling how there was “talk of Joe interfering” when Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey split up, Perez alleges “Joe’s pulling the same thing with his youngest daughter, Ashlee Simpson.”
The blogger goes on to say that sources claim, “Joe doesn’t have anything against Pete Wentz personally, but he wants to be the “only man in his daughters’ lives.”
Really?
Nope.
Gossip Cop looked into this, and a mutual friend of ours and Joe’s says it’s simply “not true” the Simpson patriarch wants to interfere in his daughters’ romantic lives.
Our impeccable insider explains, “Joe wants [Ashlee] to be happy,” and supports “whatever she needs to be happy.”

“Is Zoe Saldana Pregnant? All Signs Point To YES!” exclaims HollywoodLife.
And then after asking again, “Could she be expecting,” the site blares, “We think so!”
According to HollywoodLife, Saldana was sporting “what looks to be a baby bump” yesterday at the Calvin Klein Fashion Week show in New York.
As added proof, says the blog, “She has no new projects lined up for the year. Hmm… we’re smelling a pregnancy announcement!”
No, what HollywoodLife is smelling is the stench of its own putrid reporting.
Two seconds of fact-checking and the site would have known that Saldana begins production on another Star Trek movie this summer.
Additionally, Saldana has NO bump, and she was enjoying wine last night at the restaurant The Lion.
Oh, one more thing…
A rep for Saldana tells Gossip Cop, “Yet again HollywoodLife got it wrong. She’s not pregnant.”

David Archuleta has been dropped by Jive Records after his latest album flopped.
“The Other Side of Down” sold only 63,000 units, leading the company to cut the singer from its roster.
Archuleta was the “American Idol” Season 7 runner-up to David Cook.
In the wake of his “Idol” success, Archuleta’s 2008 self-titled debut went platinum.

The body of a newborn baby was found at the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls outside Johannesburg, South Africa.
A 17-year-old student at the school gave birth to the infant, which was discovered in a plastic bag.
Police are investigating.
It has not been determined whether the baby died of natural causes or was killed.
The mother is currently being treated at a nearby hospital.
A rep for Oprah tells Gossip Cop they’re not commenting right now on the situation.

Paris Hilton celebrated her 30th birthday the way she always marks her milestones – with a slew of parties.
Her first 30th bash, which took place on February 15 at a home in Hollywood, was so wild that apparently she didn’t notice a birthday cake went missing, claims an alleged party-crasher.
A man by the name of “Paz” tells Gawker he snuck into the party and swiped one of the socialite’s cakes.
The man says after Hilton blew the candles out on one of her many birthday cakes, he asked a waiter what would happen to an unsliced one beside it, to which the waiter allegedly responded, “They’ll probably just throw it out.”
“In one fluid motion, I sidestep a confused waiter, seize the prize, and about-face to the door,” he recounts. “I pass the security chief again on the way out. I nod purposefully. He nods in return. 40 seconds later I’m in the front seat of a Nissan Maxima with 70 lbs. of awesome in my lap.”
Gossip Cop is looking into the veracity of this tale, and has reached out to Hilton’s reps.

Howie Mandel and FOX will team up on “Mobbed,” a reality special that puts “Glee”-style musical numbers into the everyday real world with flash mobs and hidden cameras.
The veteran TV host and hundreds of strangers will help surprise unwitting guests with a giant song-and-dance that reveals a big piece of news, such as a marriage proposal or job offer.
Viewers will see the group rehearse for the big moment.
“It’s so exciting to be a part of this huge musical spectacle never before attempted on this scale,” says Mandel.
“Mobbed” will air on March 31 after “American Idol.”

“Celebrity Rehab” alum Mike Starr was arrested early this morning in Salt Lake City for drug possession.
Police say Starr was pulled over as part of a routine traffic stop at approximately 1:30 a.m., at which point officers discovered six opana tablets and six alprazalam tablets.
The Alice In Chains co-founder/bassist did not have a prescription for the medications, which were in an unmarked bottle.
He was charged with two third-degree felony and one misdemeanor counts of possession of a controlled substance.
He’s being held on $20,000 bail.
Starr appeared on the third season of “Celebrity Rehab” in 2010.
Last month, fellow “Celebrity Rehab” vet Jason Davis was busted for heroin possession.

Whether they’re just friends or something more, Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson have been spending a lot of time together lately.
The pair were at the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood late last night, and left together after 2 a.m.
Ronson tweeted this morning, “watching grey’s anatomy-my fav show- @lindsaylohan sleeping next 2 me- should i wake her up to let her know her mom is going on GMA? #why ?”
Lohan, who moved into the condo next to Ronson’s after leaving rehab in January, has said in the past that she “loves” her.
