Denise Richards talks about Charlie Sheen and his troubles on “The View” tomorrow.
Sitting in with Whoopi Goldberg, Barbara Walters, Joy Behar and Elisabeth Hasselbeck, Richards was asked about her ex-husband and his infamous exploits.
And since it was taped earlier today, Gossip Cop has a preview.
Below is part of the converation that took place.
BARBARA WALTERS: We can’t have you here without asking a couple of questions.
DENISE RICHARDS: Really? Let me guess what they might be about.
WALTERS: I’m the designated hitter. But you know you were married to Charlie Sheen. You got married in 2002, you were divorced in 2006 and you have two daughters Sam and Lola. All the stuff about Charlie Sheen, the drinking, the booze, and the porn stars, the rehab, talking on television, radio programs. Does any of this surprise you?
RICHARDS: No, I mean it doesn’t. I mean, you know this is Charlie’s lifestyle. He makes no bones about it. And it is what it is.
Later in the show…
WALTERS: If you could just give us one line of what you say to your children.
RICHARDS: What can you say? It’s a very difficult situation in dealing with the subject. This has been something I have dealt with for years. This is not a new situation. There are times where his life is more colorful than others, more public than others, and as the kids get older it’s a difficult thing. I’m learning as I go too. I have never had to deal with this and this was a subject I had hoped to talk with my children about as they got older. But it’s hard. I mean there are books that are out there. One in particular, I’m blanking on the title, it explains addiction to children. There are images and pictures that a child can understand. I don’t know what they fully comprehend from these conversations. They don’t know what some of these things are. So I do the best I can and it’s not easy.
What do you think of Richards’ handling of this difficult situation?

This week it was revealed that veteran CBS News journalist Lara Logan suffered “a brutal and sustained sexual assaultâ€Â while covering the celebrations in Egypt after Hosni Mubarak stepped down as the country’s president.
The barbaric sexual attack resulted in the “60 Minutes” correspondent being hospitalized.
Logan was there doing her job the best she could.
She was the victim of a group of animals.
Yet, HollywoodLife, a site run by and catering to women, has done the unimaginable – blamed the victim.
After noting that Logan is the mother of two children, the blog asks, “Is She Brave Or Irresponsible For Putting Herself In This Kind Of Danger?”
“Irresponsible”?
HollywoodLife then essentially repeats itself, though more emphatically, in its opening paragraph: “Do you think she’s really brave, or completely irresponsible for putting herself in such a dangerous situation when she has two little kids waiting for her to come home?”
“Completely irresponsible”?
Logan is a successful woman doing her job, and yet HollywoodLife has the audacity to call her “irresponsible”?
Imagine simply if it were a hard-working male journalist with two kids at home who suffered a “brutal” and “sustained” attack: Would anyone call him “irresponsible”?
Thankfully, Logan is out of the hospital now, and eager to return to the profession she loves.
Rather than re-victimize Logan, a women’s site like HollywoodLife should be grateful she survived, and laud her for her accomplishments instead of calling her “irresponsible.”
The only “irresponsible” journalists here are the ones at HollywoodLife.

Serene Branson, the CBS reporter whose live coverage of the Grammy Awards last Sunday was marked by garbled speech, suffered a “complex migraine,†according to her doctor.
There had been speculation that Branson endured a stroke on the air, but Dr. Neil Martin says the correspondent’s verbal difficulties were actually the result of a complex migraine.
Symptoms of the condition can look like those typically associated with a stroke, including weakness, loss of vision and speech trouble.
It is caused when blood vessels in the brain spasm, and is usually only temporary.
Branson gave Dr. Martin permission to discuss her status publicly.
Video of Branson’s episode is below.

George Clooney’s girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis not only likes seeing her man in his briefs, but she also wants everyone else to see him in his underwear, too.
The National Enquirer reports that Canalis asked Clooney to pose alongside her in a new Roberto Cavalli underwear ad.
According to the tabloid, Cavalli execs came up with the idea of having Clooney rock “tighty-whities” in a new his-and-her ad after Canalis’ recent spread for the brand generated a huge response.
The Italian model is said to have “shivered in excitement” when the design house approached her with the idea, and “immediately tried to sell Loverboy on letting it all – or some of it, anyway – hang out.”
Unfortunately, however, the Oscar winner was not feeling the idea, says the Enquirer.
Clooney “admitted he was flattered,” reports the mag, “but turned the offer down flat, saying it’s just NOT the image he wants to convey.”
For real?
No.
A rep for the star tells Gossip Cop the story is blatantly “not true.”
Once again, the Enquirer has been exposed.

“John’s latest target – Sandra!” exclaims the headline of an In Touch story, which tries to link John Mayer to Sandra Bullock.
Yes, you read that correctly.
According to the tabloid, “John is trying hard to get fixed up with Sandra.”
But the mag says it’s only because he has an ulterior motive. He wants to “repair his reputation, and he thinks that dating America’s Sweetheart” will do the trick.
Uh huh…
In Touch notes Bullock was “flattered” that Mayer wanted to go out with her, but ultimately turned him down “because she’s looking for a relationship and not just a booty call.”
Got it.
Here’s what’s right: The spelling of their names.
Here’s what’s wrong: Everything else.
No such thing ever happened.
Mayer, says a source connected to the singer, did not “target” Bullock. “It’s bulls**t,” adds the insider.

It’s reached the point where HollywoodLife no longer even pretends to be anything other than a petri dish for paranoid fantasy.
Robert Pattinson, you may have heard, is set to star in a film adaptation of Cosmopolis.
Cosmopolis, as it happens, is not a monologue.
That means other people will be paid money to pretend to be fictional characters.
Some of these “actors” will even be (gasp) women!
You read that correctly – Robert Pattinson will work with females, including, HollywoodLife fears, “the very gorgeous, and much older” Juliette Binoche.
For HollywoodLife, Binoche’s participation could spell all kinds of trouble, and the site wonders, “Should Kristen Stewart be worried?”
Um… there doesn’t seem to be much of an explanation, other than Binoche being a “gorgeous older woman.”
It’s all part of HollywoodLife’s airtight logic – any woman who comes into contact with Pattinson is a threat to Stewart.
An older flight attendant serves Pattinson coffee on a flight? Alert Stewart!
Pattinson bumps into his elementary school teacher at the market? Emergency on Aisle 7!
He holds open the door for a woman at Starbucks? Scandal!
HollywoodLife really – really – should chill out with the incessant suggestions that any Pattinson interaction with someone of the opposite sex is a potential crisis for his relationship.
No one is “worried” nearly as much as the site itself.
