EXCLUSIVE Backstage Oscar Dish

(Oscars)

Gossip Cop has your backstage Oscar dish.

Check out what you didn’t see on the show!

Melissa Leo (Best Supporting Actress - The Fighter) apologized for dropping an f-bomb during her acceptance speech, saying, it was “a very inappropriate place to use (those words)… I apologize to anyone that they offend.”

Leo was told in the press room backstage that she was the first person in the history of the Academy Awards to drop an f-bomb during the telecast.

Oops!

Leo’s co-star Christian Bale (Best Supporting Actor – The Fighter) was at the bar with Dicky Eklund – the real-life boxer he portrayed – and missed his Leo’s f-bombed acceptance speech. Bale said he was pounding on the door, “and they wouldn’t let us in.”

On the subject of f-bombs…

David Seidler (Best Original Screenplay - The King’s Speech) said he was glad Queen Elizabeth didn’t put him in the Tower of London for putting the f-bomb in her father’s mouth.

Aaron Sorkin (Best Adapted Screenplay – The Social Network) said backstage, “Tonight I’m going to enjoy this; tomorrow I’m going to start something new.” Sorkin also noted Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg has been a “good sport” about the film.

A less good sport was one of the Oscar-winning editors of The Social Network, who was backstage when he heard The King’s Speech won for Best Director…. and booed!

On a lighter note…

Natalie Portman revealed her baby was kicking “a lot” during the song portion of the evening – leading her to conclude that s/he will definitely be a dancer! So will she be naming her child Oscar? “Definitely out of the question,” she said while laughing.

Speaking of dancing, Colin Firth kidded that his invite to the royal wedding “must be lost in the post,” and said, “I’ll be tracing it soon.” When asked what he thought about the new PG-13 cut of The King’s Speech, he said, “I am against it… I think the film has its integrity as it stands.”

Helena Bonham Carter was the epitome of a well-mannered Brit when dealing with press. When tired of a reporter’s questions backstage, she simply pointed to her bracelet, which had a tiny hour glass on it, and said demurely, “time is up.”

And so is ours…

Charlie Sheen Shopping Book Deal Worth At Least $10 Million

Charlie Sheen on Set Of Two And A Half Men

Charlie Sheen is ready to spill the beans on his entire sting on Two And A Half Men and if you’re a book publisher the rights to his tell-all can possibly be yours with a starting bid of $10 million.

That is the rumored price of the Sheen book which has yet to be written tell all about the actors 8 seasons on the hit CBS show in which he says he’ll name names including co-stars.

The bloated title? When The Laughter Stopped.

With the newest season of Two and a Half Men shut down and Sheen calling show creator Chuck Lorre every name in the book, it’s probably the end of the show and this would be almost a series finale for fans, which could draw many book sales since the show was TV’s highest rated sitcom.

Fake “Jon Cryer” Twitter Dupes Outlets with Comments on Charlie Sheen

(GettyImages.com)

A fake “Jon Cryer” Twitter account fooled several major outlets into believing the “Two and a Half Men” star had broken his silence on the Charlie Sheen situation.

“It’s too sad! Sorry guys, that you must hear so bad news! I’m also shocked!” tweeted the phony “Cryer” early this morning, referring to the cancelation of the show’s season amid Sheen’s bizarre, combative rants.

Entertainment Weekly’s website and E! Online were among the places to be duped by the Cryer imposter, posting stories about the “shocked” co-star’s supposed reaction to Sheen’s public meltdown.

A rep for Cryer confirms to Gossip Cop that the account cited in these items is “absolutely fake” and that the actor “is not on Twitter.”
