Although Justin Bieber fans were upset that Esperanza Spalding beat the young singer for Best New Artist at last night’s Grammy Awards – and even attacked her own Wikipedia page – The Biebs was totally gracious in defeat.
Admittedly, the pop star was disappointed he didn’t win, but that didn’t stop Bieber from congratulating Spalding.
“I didn’t meet her…. I’m gonna go say what up…. [and] congratulate her,” Bieber told MTV News backstage before seeking out the singer.
What do you think of the young singer’s show of graciousness?

Selena Gomez is now starring in Snow White and the Huntsman?
Just two weeks ago, Gossip Cop was told by insiders involved in the production that Gomez was not being considered for the role, and that Kristen Stewart had been offered the part.
Now IMDb lists Gomez as the lead in the highly anticipated film.
So, did Stewart drop out and Gomez step in?
Nope.
A production source assures Gossip Cop that Gomez has been erroneously added to the cast on the user-generated site, and that Stewart is still “in negotiations” for Snow White.
As we previously reported, it’s simply a matter of whether the filmmakers and Stewart can sign off on an agreement.
Who would you like to see as Snow White – Kristen Stewart or Selena Gomez?

Taylor Swift just got a special treat for Valentine’s Day.
Adam Young, the Owl City singer for whom Swift wrote the love ballad “Enchanted,” has responded with his own version of the song – and it sounds like Swift gives him butterflies, too.
“I’ll be the first to admit I’m a rather shy boy and since music is the most eloquent form of communication I can muster, I decided to record something for you,” writes Young on Owl City’s site.
“You are a true princess from a dreamy fairy tale, and above all, I just want you to know… I was enchanted to meet you too.”
With that, Young gives Swift – and the world – his version of “Enchanted,” which includes a few minor lyrical changes tailored for Taylor.

Lady Gaga addressed the controversy surrounding her song, “Born This Way,” which some claim is a rip off of Madonna’s “Express Yourself.”
While appearing on the “Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” the talk show host asked her about the comparison, and Lady Gaga responded by first saying, “There is really no one that is a more adoring or loving Madonna fan than me. I am the hugest fan personally and professionally.”
Then the singer told the audience that she received an e-mail from Madonna and her people “sending me their love and complete support on behalf of the single. And if the queen says it shall be, then it shall be.”
What do you think about the comparison of “Born This Way” to “Express Yourself”?
