Victoria Beckham: “I Do Not Know the Sex of My Baby!”

(GettyImages.com)

“Contrary to rumors, I do not know the sex of my baby,” says Victoria Beckham, who already has three boys with soccer star husband David Beckham.

Beckham says she’s not even sure whether or not she’ll find out the baby’s sex, adding she and her husband just ”feel so lucky and so blessed” to be having another child.

The mother of Brookyln, Romeo and Cruz tells USA Today, “We know what to do with boys.” And while the kids are “excited about having a little brother to teach how to play soccer. … If it’s a girl, we’d be over the moon as well.”

Bono Supports South African Song That Advocates Violence

(GettyImages.com)

Bono, who just finished performing his “360 Degree Tour” show in Johannesburg, has caused controversy after telling South Africa’s Sunday Times that songs like “Shoot the Boer,” have their place.

The word “Boer” translates to “farmer” and originally referred to the Dutch settlers who came to South Africa in the 18th Century, but is now considered a derogatory term for white people.

The issue has been a hot topic in South Africa ever since the leader of the ruling African National Congress’s Youth League, Julius Malema, publicly sang the anti-Apartheid song last year.

Even though “Shoot the Boer” advocates violence, Bono said he supports the tune.

“I was a kid and I’d sing songs I remember my uncles singing… rebel songs about the early days of the Irish Republican Army,” said the U2 frontman, who then crooned (for the interviewer) a few lyrics about carrying guns and getting them ready for action.

Bono did note, however, that some songs can’t be sung in certain contexts. ”It’s about where and when you sing those songs. There’s a rule for that kind of music.”

What do you think about Bono’s controversial comments?

Intruder Arrested Outside Ellen DeGeneres’ Home

Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi

A scary moment occurred this week for TV star Ellen DeGeneres and partner Portia de Rossi when a female intruder was arrested while roaming the couples property.

According to TMZ, the intruder never actually ran into the couple thanks to the security force they have at their home.

Apparently the couple use a 24-hour security team to protect their home, a rep told TMZ:

“The property is protected by a 24-hour security team that detected and detained the intruder until she was turned over to the custody of Beverly Hills police officers, who arrested her.”

I guess an intruder is better than a stalker.

Justin Bieber Loses ‘Best New Artist’ Grammy To Esperanza Spalding

Esperanza Spalding

If you’ve been following the career of Justin Bieber you would almost certainly think he was a shoe-in for the “best new artist” Grammy at this years awards show, after all he’s sold millions of albums, has fans around the world and heck even his hairdo has become a pop phenomenon, however that wasn’t enough to keep Esperanza Spalding from robbing the Biebs of the award.

Esperanza took the title at the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards with her jazzy songs and bass playing abilities, proving that sometimes even the Academy wants “real” musicians to take home top honors.

Kanye West didn’t go all Taylor Swift at this show either, saying of the “Best new artist” nod:

“Damn… I can’t find the words to explain how I feel about the best new artist award… Don’t wanna say the wrong thing.”

After performing with Usher the Biebs responded to losing the best new artist category:

“I’m happy for her. I had a great night! I got to perform with my mentor.”

The “best new artist” category is full of artists who have been around for a while, for example Spalding is already on her third album.

The award made history as Spalding is the first jazz artist to win “Best New Artist.”
