On Wednesday singer Ashlee Simpson filed for divorce from husband and Fall Out Boy founding member Pete Wentz, telling one source that she had been “extremely unhappy for a long time” and wanted out of the marriage for just as long.

On the flip side, Pete Wentz says he has always been very happy with the marriage and had no idea Ashlee was feeling the way she was.

A source close to the couple says Pete begged Ashlee to stay after she broke the news and that he has been crying a lot since that time, while begging Ashlee to give their marriage another shot.
TMZ says that Ashlee isn’t budging and that Pete’s “erratic behavior” has made for an impossible marriage.

The Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards is coming back on April 2 and Jack Black is returning to host the show once again.

The show honor’s the favorite entertainment of kids, including Film, TV, Music and Sports.

According to Marjorie Cohn, Nick’s President of Original Programming and Development:

“Jack Black is the perfect mix of comedy, rock and star-power that will set the tone for an amazing show.”

Jack Black previously hosted the show in 2006 and then again in 2008, he will be replacing Kevin James who hosted the show in 2011.

The awards ceremony will be held at the Southern California Galen Center.

Miley Cyrus, hot off the heels of her Hannah Montana series finale will be hosting Saturday Night Live when the show airs on March 5.

It will be interesting to see if Miley appears on the spoofed out Miley Cyrus Show when she hosts, a sketch that has aired on several recent showing of the popular sketch comedy series. The Cyrus skit features relative newcomer to SNL Vanessa Bayer (pictured above with Miley Cyrus) as she plays the 18-year-old star as an “everything’s about me” type of persona. Saturday Night Live often likes to get the real stars involved in the spoofs of themselves, which could make for an interesting moment on the show.

At this time the musical guest for the night has not been announced, although it could be Miley herself, after all she’s one of the best selling artists of the last several decade.

The white dress that Lindsay Lohan wore to her recent court hearing has been flying off the shelf so fast that you’d be hard pressed to find it in stores or online at this time.

The “Glavis” dress, featured as part of the Kimberly Ovitz Pre-Fall collection sells for $575 but that hasn’t stopped customers from snatching them up at every online boutique and other locations they could find.

Lindsay told the press that she wore the white dress to signify her “innocence” in her recent jewelry theft case.

While the dress has been met with much fanfare, Lohan gawked at the idea that what she was wearing should matter:

“What i wear to court shouldnt be front page news. it’s just absurd.”

Regardless of what Lohan things, we’re sure Ovitz is very pleased with the results.

HBO is yet again taking a new approach for how they deliver information about their shows to fans. Network executives on Friday announced plans for a blog devoted solely to their hit series True Blood.

While a welcome post has already been established on the site, the blog will not officially go live until 9 AM EST on Saturday Feb. 12.

The Blog will focus on behind-the-scenes details from the fourth season of the show, essentially acting as a “production blog” for the series.

The idea of a production blog has already been highly successful for HBO on their series Game Of Thrones which has drawn many fans to the site to check up on current events.

Apparently, the tension between Ashton Kutcher and George W. Bush at Super Bowl XLV made the Packers and Steelers seem like best friends by comparison.

During an interview with BBC Radio 1, Kutcher talks about his experience sitting behind the former President during last Sunday’s big game in Dallas.

“I don’t think he’s very happy with me. He just was not very nice to me. He just kind of snubbed me a little bit,” Kutcher says of Bush.

Asked why Bush may have been icy toward him, the No Strings Attached actor explains, “I think I said some mean things [about Bush] during the election.”

“I feel like he probably doesn’t like me very much.”

Kutcher describes Bush as being “curt” when acknowledging him, telling the BBC hosts that former president greeted him with something between a growl and a “burp.”

At one point, Kutcher says Bush turned around and “gave me this scowl.”

Wow.

Maybe President Bush thought he was about to be punk’d?
