Sammy Hagar may have been on a bunch of “trips” as a rocker, but in a new book, the former Van Halen lead singer swears he’s gone intergalactic – having been abducted by aliens.
Yes, you read that correctly.
While promoting “Red: My Uncensored Life in Rock,” Hagar told MTVHive.com that his dreamlike descriptions of extraterrestrial encounters reflected actual events.
The rocker writes in his book, “I saw a ship and two creatures inside of this ship… And they were connected to me, tapped into my mind through some kind of mysterious wireless connection.â€
When asked by MTV to clarify whether he believes he’s ever been abducted by aliens, Hagar admits, “I think I have.”
“It was real. [Aliens] were plugged into me. It was a download situation,” explains Hagar.
“This was long before computers or any kind of wireless. There weren’t even wireless telephones. Looking back now, it was like, ‘F**k, they downloaded something into me!’ Or they uploaded something from my brain, like an experiment.â€
“Another thing happened when I was about four that I didn’t put into the book,” recalls Hagar to MTV. “One time I saw what I considered to be, well, at the time I thought it was a car with no wheels. We lived out in the country and I saw this thing floating across a field, creating this big dust storm. I threw rocks at it and s**t.”
He admits he was reticent to discuss this “Especially back a few decades ago, when this stuff happened to me. I couldn’t talk about it because I didn’t know how to explain it.”
Hagar says some of his lesser known songs like “Space Station #5,†“Spaceage Sacrifice,” and “Silver Lights,†grew out of his experiences with aliens.
“People say there’s no other life in the universe. But you know how big the universe is? It’s freakin’ huge! If we’re really the only ones out there, that’s scarier to me than thinking there are aliens,” said Hagar, who noted, “I don’t want to sound like I’m crazy” before adding, “My opinions about the UFO stuff, well, I could write a whole book just devoted to that.”

Holly Madison and Jack Barakat officially announced their breakup. Holly’s rep said,
“I can confirm Holly and Jack are no longer dating. Their decision to split was both mutual and amicable.”
The former Playboy bunny and the lead guitarist of All Time Low dated for ten months after meeting on Twitter. They exchanged messages and numbers virtually before meeting in person. The two tried to keep their relationship under wraps before going public at Holly’s 31st birthday party late last year.
Despite the breakup, Madison seemed to be in good spirits over the weekend. She hosted a party with Brody Jenner at Chateau nightclub in Las Vegas. She’ll also stay busy with her performances in the Peepshow at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Vegas while Jack will begin touring with his band soon to promote their new album.

Charlie Sheen is winning! CBS is reportedly in talks with the troubled actor so he’ll return to the set of the networks uber-popular sitcom Two and a Half Men. The announcement comes just two weeks after Sheen was fired and subsequently banned from the Warner Bros. studio lot.
NBC reporter Jeff Rossen tweeted on Monday:
“CBS has offered him his job back. Discussions ongoing. Not a done deal.â€
That tweet was backed up by other reports on Monday that CBS CEO Les Moonves was attempting to bring Sheen back on board, while Jenny McCarthy, a frequent guest star was also named as a replacement.
Sheen has filed a $100 million wrongful termination lawsuit, however an insider told RadarOnline.com:
“Moonves wants to get the show back on the air. He’s all for it,†adding, “He says certain people need to forget anything and everything Charlie’s done recently and just move on with the business at hand.â€
Also on the table, a possible late-night gig on Fox. It looks like crazy wins….you heard it here, crazy is winning.

In his new memoir; Red: My Uncensored Life in Rock former Van Halen frontman Sammy Hagar says he believes in aliens because he was “mind tapped” years ago with some type of “Wi-Fi” connection.
Hmmm…perhaps Mr. Hagar took one too many drugs when he was touring to the rock & roll lifestyle.
According to Hagar he was in a vivid dream in which he found two aliens inside a UFO he stumbled onto in the early ’80s.
Hagar for his part plays down the meeting, more than likely not attempting to sound insane as he does during the passage.
