Retail giant Target will have to look elsewhere for celebrity endorsements after Lady Gaga pulled her upcoming support from the chain when it was discovered that Target had made donations to political figures with anti-gay agendas.

Target was slated to sell an exclusive version of Gaga’s new upcoming album Born This Way however she stepped away from the lucrative deal when it was discovered that Target has been supporting anti-gay politicians and organizations.

One of Target’s biggest donations went to MN Forward, a political action committee that supported Tom Emmer, an anti-gay gubernatorial candidate for the state in 2010.

When Lady Gaga, a gay rights advocate first entered the deal she came under fire and released the following statement:

“That discussion was one of the most intense conversations I’ve ever had in a business meeting,” she said at the time. “Part of my deal with Target is that they have to start affiliating themselves with LGBT charity groups and begin to reform and make amends for the mistakes they’ve made in the past…our relationship is hinged upon their reform in the company to support the gay community and to redeem the mistakes they’ve made supporting those groups.”

Apparently Target didn’t take the steps necessary to fix their image among gay rights groups. Good for you Gaga.

Rumer Willis, the 22-year-old daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore is getting ready to make her acting debut just off the great white way, appearing in the off-broadway production of “Love, Loss & What I Wore.”

Willis has appeared in several recent films including Sorority Row and The House Bunny, while also guest starring for an arc on the CW’s 90210.

Willis will act alongside Anne Meara and B. Scott from March 23 through April 24 at the Westside Theatre in Manhattan.

The production is a stage adaption inspired by Ilene Beckerman’s memoir. Love is currently in it’s second year and is directed by Karen Carpenter.

Ashley Olsen and Justin Bartha from The Hangover have split up, Gossip Cop has learned.

Bartha and the actress/fashion designer dated for more than two years.

A year ago there were tabs rumors, which Gossip Cop busted, that Olsen was trying to get Bartha to race down the aisle with her.

Reps for Olsen and Bartha did not respond to our requests for a comment about the couple’s split.

Perez Hilton and other outlets seem convinced that LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian are bringing in cameras to film a reality show about their nuptials and life as newlyweds.

As is often the case, “reality” is the last thing the blogger cares about.

“LeAnn’s rep, of course, denies [the show], but the possibility is strong!” claims Hilton.

No – the possibility is NOT strong.

Rumors about a Rimes-Cibrian reality show have swirled for a long time, despite the fact that the couple has no interest in doing one.

Hilton seems to be operating under the assumption that a denial is the same thing as an admission. Except it isn’t, especially when there’s absolutely no evidence to support the claim in the first place.

Rimes herself even tweeted, ”I dont know how many time[s] I have to say Eddie and I would never do a reality show about our lives,” later adding, ”I despise desperate stories from desperate people needing to fill a page, but it’s a good laugh at the same time.”

Hilton’s reporting is definitely good for comic relief – and little else.

Ryan Seacrest will be a “surprise guest star” on this season’s “Dancing with the Stars,” reports the National Enquirer.

According to a so-called “source” for the tabloid, Seacrest is “swapping his swanky leather slip-ons for… a pair of dancing shoes, thanks to his pro dancer sweetheart, Julianne Hough.”

Hough supposedly “talked the reluctant ‘American Idol’ host into a special guest appearance – even though he protests he has two left feet.”

“But after giving her squeeze private dance lessons,” the mag continues, “Julianne gushed to pals that Ryan will totally amaze viewers when the darling duo appear as guests during May sweeps.”

So is Seacrest really going to tear up the dance floor on ‘DWTS’?

“No,” says a source connected to the show, adding that the host of a competing program wouldn’t be asked to be on “Dancing with the Stars.”

Seacrest’s rep also tells Gossip Cop that he won’t be getting jiggy on the show any time soon.

Yet another misstep by the Enquirer.

“CONFIRMED: Jen’s Big News – A Baby on My Own!” blares the cover of OK!, which claims Jennifer Aniston recently revealed to friends that “it’s a done deal” – she’s going to be a mom.

The actual inside article, however, completely backtracks on the “done deal” assertion, suggesting that Aniston is merely getting ready to have children.

The tab’s main “evidence” that Aniston is planning on becoming a mom is… real estate. She is supposedly putting her Beverly Hills home on the market because “it’s no place to raise a baby,” says a so-called “friend.”

Another so-called “confidante,” explains that the Just Go With It star “felt the Beverly Hills home was too sprawling and unmanageable for a new mom,” so she’s renovating her old Hollywood Hills home “because she thinks it’s smaller and a better-laid-out home for a baby.”

Not proof enough?

OK! also uses Aniston’s new “sassy bob” hairstyle as evidence she’s going to have a child. “She’s breaking out of the Jennifer Aniston mold,” says a supposed pal. “She had that same haircut for so long; it almost felt like it what trapping her.”

The haircut was preventing motherhood?

Of course, the tab remains deliberately vague about how she’ll have a child, reporting she “consulted a fertility doctor” and would prefer to get pregnant by “in vitro fertilization,” but adds she “isn’t against using a surrogate,” and is also considering adoption “as a last resort.”

Unfortunately, despite OK!’s astounding collection of “evidence,” Aniston is NOT currently in the process of preparing for a baby.

A rep for Aniston tells Gossip Cop the story is complete “nonsense,” pointing out that not long ago the tabs claimed the actress was building a baby nursery in her current L.A. home  – yes, the same one that OK! now says is too “unmanageable” for a baby.

Adds the rep, “The whole story is false.”
