Ellen DeGeneres put Justin Biebers famous hair up for auction on eBay and part of his famous “do” brought in more than $40,000.

A company wagers $40,688 for a lock of his hair which has changed recently due to a new haircut.

After changing his hair Justin Bieber lost 80,000 Twitter followers (yes some Bieber followers are really really petty) before donating his hair to Ellen during a taping of the Ellen DeGeneres show.

That won’t be the only Bieber hair pieces in a specialized signed glass box being given away to raise money for auction and it probably won’t be the only hair to reach $10,000 in offers within the first hour of going online.

Proceeds from this sale will go to The Gentle Barn Foundation, a rescue organization that rehabilitates farm animals in need.

The auction winner, online casino GoldenPalace.com have been invited onto Ellen’s show the next time Bieber makes an appearance.

Jenny Bale and her 37-year-old son haven’t spoken to one another since he broke down in a hotel suite back in July 2008, attacking his mom and his sister Sharon right before the London premiere of The Dark Night.

Now Jenny says of his win:

“I hope this Oscar can bring us together. The family are so pleased for him. This Oscar is well deserved. I saw other celebrities there with their mothers and got upset,” adding “I would have loved to have been there by his side. I’d love for Christian to walk through the door right now and. I’d give him a big hug and a kiss and we could forget about the last three years. I don’t know why he’s doing this.”

According to his mother in an interview with The Sun:

“If I had done something wrong I’d apologize, but I really don’t know why it’s come to this.”

Christian Bale says “it’s a personal matter” but won’t comment on whether or not he will talk with his mom anytime soon.

Though his costar has burned a few bridges (with gasoline and napalm), Jon Cryer’s relationship with Warner Bros. remains just ducky.

Jon Cryer is making his first TV appearance since production shut down on “Two and a Half Men.”

An audience member tells Gossip Cop exclusively that Cryer just taped “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”

But don’t expect him to dish about Charlie Sheen.

Our tipster says Cryer did a comedic bit in the “Ellen” offices, where he’s seen filling in as a temp receptionist since he “needs the work.”

“It was really funny,” says our source.
