Jennifer Garner will reportedly play Miss Marple in a reboot of Agatha Christie’s mystery series.

The sleuth, who has always been portrayed by older actresses as a mystery-solving spinster, was expected to be revived as a younger character after Disney made a deal to bring back the franchise.

Christie wrote 12 mystery novels starring Miss Marple, beginning in 1930. The character inspired several motion pictures and a long-running BBC series.

Beyonce has ended her business relationship with father Mathew Knowles, who served as her manager.

According to a statement released by her publicist, Beyonce explained that she and her dad would part ways “on a business level,” although no specific reason was given.

“I am grateful for everything he has taught me,” said the superstar. “I grew up watching both he and my mother manage and own their own businesses. They were hardworking entrepreneurs and I will continue to follow in their footsteps.”

The elder Knowles had guided his daughter from her teen years with girl group Destiny’s Child to her spectacular success as a solo performer.

Mathew Knowles also managed Destiny’s Child members Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams when they launched their own solo careers.

He and Beyonce’s mother Tina Knowles divorced in 2009.

David Beckham was looking oh so fantastic today in Los Angeles where he was dressed up for a photo shoot. I don’t think it’s possible for this man to take a bad picture.

David and wife Victoria recently revealed that they are expecting a girl later this year. That is going to be one busy house! Pretty sure that is going to be the most fashionable little girl in Hollywood though:)

What do you think of David’s latest hair style? Call me crazy but he totally minds me of Luke Perry! I like it though, he can definitely make it work.

We rarely see Uma Thurman, and her kids with Ethan Hawke, Maya and Levon, even less rarely, so it’s nice to see them having some fun in Paris. Uma must’ve taken her kids abroad for spring break; here they are getting some ice cream.

Look at how tall 12-year-old Maya is (remember, Uma is six feet tall): she’s taking after her mother! I can’t believe how both Maya and Levon are, can you?

Lady Gaga isn’t the only one going country: Justin Bieber does it, too, with his song ‘That Should Be Me,’ featuring Rascal Flatts.

This urge to go country doesn’t surprise me: I’ve heard that country music sells more albums than any other music genre, although I couldn’t find anything conclusive. Can anyone verify that?

Although Natalie Portman herself has not responded, ‘Black Swan’ filmmakers have issued a joint statement with studio Fox Searchlight in response to American Ballet Theatre soloist Sarah Lane’s claims that she did most of the dancing for the movie.

“We were fortunate to have Sarah there to cover the more complicated dance sequences and we have nothing but praise for the hard work she did. However, Natalie herself did most of the dancing featured in the final film.”

I honestly don’t know if this statement makes things better or worse. Natalie herself admitted that there was no way she could learn to dance like a professional ballerina in one year (and who honestly could?).

While we never hear from most stunt doubles or other body doubles, it sounds like Sarah simply wanted some recognition for her work. Given that ballet dancers have been training since childhood, I don’t blame her, but it’s unfortunate it had to come to this.

Well, the rumors were true: Reese Witherspoon did indeed marry Jim Toth yesterday at her home in Ojai, California. Reese’s rep confirmed the news.

Us Weekly reports that 120 guests were on hand, including Renee Zellweger (whom we saw arriving in Ojai), Alyssa Milano, Salma Hayek, Robert Downey, Jr. and his wife, Susan, and Tobey Maguire. Reese’s children, Ava and Deacon, participated in the ceremony.

Reese wore a custom-designed Monique Lhuillier gown. The wedding was outdoors in the front courtyard of the house with “a rustic-themed decor.”
