Ellen DeGeneres has a knack for spotting unknown talent on YouTube. After all, the talk shot host (and onetime “American Idol” judge) plucked sixth grader Greyson Chance from obscurity last year.
Today, DeGeneres invited 18-year-old Sara Niemietz on the program to showcase her singing.
Niemietz will no doubt get a big bounce from her “Ellen” appearance.
But in an era when everyone from Rebecca Black to Maria Aragon gets her moment in the sun, does Niemietz have the chops to stick around?
Take a look at the videos below!

Marie Osmond remarried her first husband, Stephen Craig, today in the Las Vegas Mormon Temple.
Following the ceremony, friends and family members attended a reception at their home nearby.
Osmond and Craig tied the knot for the first time on June 26, 1982 and divorced in 1985. They have a son, Stephen, who’s now 28 years old.
Incredibly, the bride walked down the aisle in the same Ret Turner-designed wedding dress she wore at their first wedding.
The wedding date — May 4 — is significant since it marks both the birthdays of Osmond’s late son Michael and late mother Olive.
Osmond remarked, “It was important that both Michael and my mom were with us on this special day.†She added, “I am so happy and look forward to sharing my life with Stephen, who is an amazing man as well as a great father to my children.”
A former professional basketball player, Craig is now a motivational speaker. And Osmond is currently performing with her brother Donny at the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas.
This is the third marriage for Osmond and second for Craig.

Blake Lively, Leighton Meester and Taylor Momsen are “at war” on the set of “Gossip Girl,” reports Star, claiming the actresses are “battling it out to be Queen Bee.”
The mag quotes a so-called “insider” as saying, “They know this will probably be the last season of the show for them, and they’re all lobbying for more screen time and the best plot lines for their characters.”
“All three of them feel like their star is on the rise and don’t want the other two to surpass them,” adds the supposed source.
Star claims things came to a head recently when the ladies got into “a nasty argument over costumes,” with Lively and Momsen supposedly flipping out because Meester’s wardrobe budget was increased.
“Blake has had the most success outside the show in feature films, so she was really annoyed about the wardrobe situation because she felt it was done behind her back,” the alleged insider reveals.
However, the tab’s story is nothing more than recycled gossip.
Asked about the rumor, Lively tells Gossip Cop exclusively, “It’s so not true,” adding, “People don’t like it when we get along… unfortunately [for them] we get along too well.”
Once again, Star confuses fact with fiction.

“Selena & Vanessa BFF Bustup!” exclaims Star magazine about Disney alums and pals Vanessa Hudgens and Selena Gomez.
According to the tab, Gomez is “now distancing herself” from Hudgens, even “cutting back on her calls and texts to Vanessa,” because image is everything to Gomez, who’s concerned Hudgens’ “wild lifestyle” will tarnish her [own] “spotless reputation.”
Star quotes a so-called “source” claiming, “Vanessa has been jumping from guy to guy and going out multiple nights a week” since splitting with Zac Efron, and Gomez is “very conscious of what the public thinks,” and is concerned Hudgens’ “constant partying… could reflect badly on her too.”
Really?
NO.
A source close to Hudgens calls the Star piece “a joke,” and Gomez’s rep tells Gossip Cop the article is “complete bulls**t” and “100% not true.”
Everything is fine between the two young stars.
Whew!

“This tour was all about going out and performing for our amazing fans who have supported our show from the beginning, but due to the limited time we had to travel during our hiatus, there were only so many cities we could get to before we had to resume work on the television series,†said series creator Ryan Murphy.
“We knew that not every fan who wanted to attend a concert would get that opportunity. Now, thanks to our friends at Twentieth Century Fox Film, we’ll be able to bring the concert experience to movie theaters across the country in full three dimensional glory.”
“We promise every passionate ‘Gleek’ a cinematic experience that will have them singing and dancing in the aisles.â€
