According to a report, newly married Prince William and Kate Middleton are slated to visit Los Angeles this summer as part of their first overseas trip as husband and wife.
“Royal aides have penciled in a two day visit to Hollywood at the end of their tour of Canada which takes place in late June and early July,” claims the “exclusive,” which acknowledges that “at this stage details are sketchy.”
David and Victoria Beckham, who attended last Friday’s Royal Wedding festivities and live in Los Angeles, would reportedly be involved in a potential California trip.

REPORT: Nicole Scherzinger to Host ‘The X Factor’

Nicole Scherzinger will reportedly host “The X Factor,” the singing competition series Simon Cowell is launching this fall.
The former Pussycat Dolls member has not been confirmed for the job, but she’s been tapped already, according to People.
Cowell has announced music executive L.A. Reid as one of the judges, and he’s expected to sign Paula Abdul and Cheryl Cole for the other panel spots.
Scherzinger appeared on the British version of “The X Factor” last year as a guest judge, earning enormous praise.
In interviews, Cowell has said of Scherzinger, “I absolutely adore her. She’s gorgeous and ruthlessly ambitious.”

Lindsay Lohan Did Not “Blow Off†Community Service, Despite Report

“LINDSAY LOHAN BLOWS OFF COMMUNITY SERVICE AT DOWNTOWN WOMEN’S CENTER” blares an “exclusive” from X17Online.
The outlet reports that Lohan “was scheduled to begin her community service at the Downtown Women’s Center on Skid Row in Los Angeles,” but “was a no-show this morning.”
Lohan has been ordered to perform 360 hours of community service at the DWC after she was found guilty of a probation violation in her necklace theft case.
X17 claims they spoke with a supposed “employee” at the center, who said that Lohan was “late for her service this morning,” and therefore would not be let inside.
But this report is completely bogus.
Lohan tells Gossip Cop exclusively, “I’m not even set to start until next week.”
In other words, X17 was way too early with this fabricated controversy.
It’s no surprise, because X17 is consistently WRONG when it comes to Lohan.
Maybe the site shouldn’t “blow off” facts.

Chris Hemsworth Tops ‘Huntsman’ List for Kristen Stewart’s ‘Snow White’

Chris Hemsworth is reportedly the new front runner for the lead male role in Snow White and the Huntsman.
The Thor hero would join expected stars Kristen Stewart (Snow White) and Charlize Theron (Evil Queen) in the Rupert Sanders project, one of two major Snow White adaptations being readied for theaters.
Multiple outlets are reporting that Hemsworth is the studio’s current top choice, especially as Thor puts up big international box office numbers (it will be released in the United States this Friday).
However, nothing – not even an offer – has been confirmed, and it’s worth noting that deals for potential huntsmen Viggo Mortensen and Hugh Jackman failed to close.
Gossip Cop is waiting for comment from Hemsworth’s camp.

Dwayne Johnson Knew About Osama bin Laden’s Death Before Anyone Else?

Dwayne Johnson (The Rock) appears to have known about Osama bin Laden’s death before almost anyone.
The Fast Five star was already enjoying a record weekend at the box office when, at 10:24 p.m. ET last night, Johnson tweeted, “Just got word that will shock the world – Land of the free… home of the brave DAMN PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN!”
What’s interesting about Johnson’s excited tweet is that it came roughly 45 minutes before news confirming bin Laden’s death began leaking to media outlets.
While online sources were obviously speculating about the reason for President Obama’s last-minute speech long before he took the podium, Johnson’s 10:24 p.m. note seems to have popped up shortly before journalists and other “people in the know” started spreading the Osama shocker.
Intriguing.
Of course, it’s possible Johnson, as his “Saturday Night Live” character The Rock Obama, gets special security and intelligence briefings every day.
In any case, he sped past everyone else this weekend, both at multiplexes and in the news cycle.
Oh, and in case you were wondering whether The Rock’s roll will continue – today is his birthday.

Flavor Flav Arrested in Las Vegas

Flavor Flav was arrested this weekend in Las Vegas after cops realized during a traffic stop that the rapper-turned-entrepreneur had four outstanding warrants.
He was booked in a local jail on Friday night and eventually released.
Flav reportedly had four earlier vehicular issues that were still legally unresolved, including driving without proof of insurance, a parking violation and two busts for driving without a license.
Born William Jonathan Drayton, Jr., the Public Enemy hype man has a long history with law enforcement, having served several jail stints in the past.

REPORT: Justin Bieber Labeled “Security Risk†on Qantas Flight

Justin Bieber is having a rough time in Australia.
After being targeted by egg tossers in Sydney, the teen pop star reportedly got into some trouble on his flight to Melbourne.
Qantas staff are said to have ordered Bieber and a security guard to sit down after they began “roaming the plane” as it taxied at the airport in Sydney, according to Sky.
Reports claim one flight attendant admonished Bieber and told him his behavior represented a “security risk.”
Supposedly, staff scolded the “Baby” singer for “acting like a child.”
Wow.
There has been no official comment from the airline or Bieber’s camp.

Charlie Sheen Tours Tornado Wreckage in Alabama

Charlie Sheen is using his free time to help those in need.
Sheen visited the tornado-devastated areas in Tuscaloosa, Alabama today, and said he wants to organize a relief effort for victims affected by the disaster.
The actor said he decided to visit the state after a University of Alabama student asked him to perform a relief show via Twitter.
Among his stops were a decimated Kentucky Fried Chicken and a crumbling apartment complex, where Sheen said he hoped people could find some of their possessions.
“Little personal items mean so much in this kind of devastation,” he said.
The former “Two and a Half Men” star just tweeted, “I’m in Tuscaloosa. it’s beyond words. Info coming soon on how you can all help.” He included a picture of a ruined home.
Last week, Sheen donated profits from merchandise sales at his April 30 show in San Francisco to Bryan Stow, the Giants fan badly beaten on baseball’s Opening Day in Los Angeles.

Rick Springfield Arrested for DUI

Rick Springfield was reportedly arrested for drunk driving last night in Los Angeles.
The 1980s “Jessie’s Girl” rocker and “General Hospital” star allegedly failed field sobriety tests during a traffic stop and was subsequently booked on suspicion of DUI, according to TMZ.
Springfield was released on $5,000 bail.
He recently released a memoir entitled “Late, Late at Night.”
