Joss Stone : Police uncover a murder plot on the singer

The price of fame and fortune can be steep for any celebrity at any point in their lives. Some may be lucky to have been able to gain from their stature , and yet some … fall in too deep to even fish themselves out. And yet there are those who just happen to be in the area and get snagged.
This is what may have been the case with British Musician Joss Stone. BBC News reports of two men who are currently held by authorities on suspicion of conspiracy to rob and probably murder Joss Stone in her Devon home. Both suspects are from Manchester, England.
Sources say that neighbours noticed a suspicious looking vehicle parked on the premises of the singer’s residence and made it a point to call and report the activity to the police. Although no one knows if Stone was in her home when the men were arrested, but the sultry singer confirms she was aware of them and that she was absolutely fine and trying to get on with her life as normal.
Police reports have compelling evidence of a murderous plot having found swords, ropes, forensic style overalls and a body bag in possession of the two suspects ages, 33 and 30. Aside from these, the men also had detailed maps and aerial photographs of Stone’s rural home.
The Detective Inspector handling the case reassures they are currently carrying out patrols and would like to make it known that no properties have been robbed and no individuals have been harmed.

Mel Gibson Sued Over Used Rubber

Mel Gibson has had his fair share of serious legal issues in recent months, and now he’s being sued over… recycled tires?
A man named Nader Sherif alleges that Gibson prodded him into investing his life savings – $200,000 – in Green Rubber, a company that uses special technology to recycle old tires.
According to Sherif, Gibson eventually convinced him to do so by promising he’d buy back Sherif’s stock at full face value whenever he wished.
But when Sherif later approached Green Rubber about selling his stake, the firm supposedly refused. When he then asked Gibson, says Sherif, he was dismissed.
Now Sherif is suing for $200,000 plus interest.
The lawsuit was first reported by TMZ.

REPORT: Gabrielle Giffords Released From Hospital

Gabrielle Giffords has reportedly been released from the hospital, five months after the congresswoman was shot in the head while speaking with constituents in Tucson, Arizona.
A gunman named Jared Lee Loughner killed six people and wounded 13 others, including Giffords, during a January 8 shooting rampage.
The first new photos of Giffords since the shooting were released on Sunday.
Her hospital release has not been officially confirmed.

Jessica Biel is “using” Gerard Butler to win back Justin Timberlake, reports Star magazine.
According to a tabloid “insider,” Biel is hanging out with her Playing the Field co-star not because she enjoys his company, but because “she’s hoping her blatant flirting with him with catch Justin’s attention.”
“Jessica would never get into a real relationship with a playboy like Gerard,” explains another supposed “source,” but “she figured that seeing her with a guy like him would make Justin jealous.”
Hmm…
Sounds like the mag is simply trying to cover themselves after recently wrongly reporting the two were “getting close.”
As Gossip Cop has told you from day one, Biel and Butler are NOT romantically involved.
They’re just friends who hang out without any dramatic ulterior motives involving exes.
A source close to Biel confirms to us that the tab’s latest story is NOT true.

Russell Crowe Reportedly in Talks to Play Superman’s Father

Russell Crowe is reportedly in negotiations join Man of Steel as Superman’s father Jor-El.
The role was famously played by Marlon Brando in the classic 1978 Superman.
It’s not been confirmed that Crowe will appear in Man of Steel, but multiple reports say a deal is close.
Henry Cavill stars as the title character in the new film, directed by Zack Snyder.
Kevin Costner and Diane Lane are set to play Clark Kent’s human “parents.”

Just a day after news broke that Crystal Harris had called off her wedding to Hugh Hefner, she talked to Ryan Seacrest about what happened.
The Playboy Playmate told Seacrest on his KIIS-FM radio show that there wasn’t a “nasty argument,” as widely reported. “There was no fight, we sat down and we talked about it,” said Harris. ”It was mutual between Hef and I.”

According to Harris, who is 60 years younger than Hefner, “For a while I’ve been having second thoughts about everything. I haven’t really been at peace with myself lately. I didn’t think it was really fair to him.â€
She even acknowledged that the twice wedded Playboy founder didn’t want to get married either. “He was doing it for me because he thought it was what I wanted,†admitted Harris, noting “Hef’s lifestyle isn’t the most normal lifestyle,” and often involves “multiple girls.â€
She added, “I respect him more than anything, and we’re still going to be really close.”
As for Hef, late last night he showed that he still has a sense of humor, even if it’s a bit darker this week.
“Since we’re not getting married on Saturday, I’ve scheduled a movie: ‘Runaway Bride,’†he tweeted. “Seems appropriate.â€

Christina Aguilera takes off her clothes for July’s W magazine cover.
The singer poses nude beneath a cascade of frizzy hair extensions and behind an artfully placed bouquet of roses.
In the accompanying interview, Aguilera talks about recent personal and professional failures, her relationship with Matt Rutler, and her new job on “The Voice.”
She touches upon her divorce from Jordan Bratman, explaining, “It got to a point where our life at home was reminding me of my own childhood. I will not have my son grow up in a tension-filled home.”
As for her infamous rendition of the national anthem at the Super Bowl, Aguilera says she got “lost in the emotion of being there.”
But she rejects the rumor that she was found wasted in Jeremy Renner’s bed during a party.
“It was an open party, and everyone was spread out all over the house,” she recalls.
“At one point I sat on the edge of a bed. It was a guest room. But it only takes one person to start the negativity, and then everyone wants to hop aboard and continue the story.”
Aguilera argues that the bandwagon effect also had something to do with her arrest for public intoxication (and Rutler’s for drunk driving), a case that was ultimately thrown out for lack of evidence.
