Justin Timberlake goes in depth with Playboy about his own career in a new interview, but the singer-actor also had some interesting opinions about other superstars.
“Let’s talk about Lady Gaga for a minute,” says Timberlake. “She’s a force. Beyond awesome…. If I were Lady Gaga, I’d do whatever I wanted, which it looks like she’s doing. She’s just plain old good.”
The former boy bander also thinks highly of Justin Bieber, but warns him to keep his eyes on the future.
“He’s obviously a talented kid,” reflects Timberlake. “I just hope he has a good support system, because I think back on myself wearing the cornrows. It’s awkward growing up in front of the public.”
“[Bieber’s mentor Usher] will teach him that you can’t just ride this out,” he adds. “You need to have somewhere to go. You need to have a plan, and somebody like Justin Bieber should be thinking about that right now.”
“Otherwise, before you know it, there’s going to be some kid who’s younger than you.”
Timberlake also blasts a spate of unflattering Internet videos comparing early performances by his ex Britney Spears with current ones.
“What a f**ked-up thing to do,” says Timberlake, calling the Internet a “cruel place.”
“People think they can say anything and it doesn’t matter to people. I’d love to see the people who comment about Britney online say those things to her face, because they couldn’t.”
“Also, in Britney’s defense, if you pulled up a video I did from 2003, I couldn’t do the s**t I did then either.”

Amber Portwood Hospitalized After Alleged Suicide Attempt

Amber Portwood of “Teen Mom” fame is in the hospital after allegedly threatening to commit suicide.
Indiana police tell Gossip Cop they received a phone call from someone at Portwood’s home today, saying the MTV star was “depressed and threatening to end her life.”
Police say Portwood appeared unharmed when they arrived at the house.
She’s currently still in the hospital undergoing evaluation.

Montel Williams Now Selling Marijuana

Montel Williams wants to give Californians the marijuana dispensary they deserve, leading him to take a job as a consultant to the Albatin Wellness Cooperative.
The former talk show host and weed advocate plans to create a high-end facility for the sale of medical marijuana in Sacramento.
Williams says he’ll be “involved at every level” of the cooperative.
He toured the premises with reporters, emphasizing his mission is to provide a “comfortable” and educational place that’s less seedy and more like a pharmacy.
“We’ve been caught up in a culture surrounding medical marijuana that’s 20 years old,” Williams said during a press conference. “While adhering to every single state law, we want to provide safe access for patients and really medicalize this.”
Williams was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in the 1990s.
He says medical marijuana has provided invaluable pain relief.
In January, he was busted for carrying a pipe through an airport security checkpoint.

REPORT: Shaquille O’Neal Linked to Alleged Sex Tape and Gang Kidnapping

Shaquille O’Neal is reportedly linked to a wild criminal case in which gang members allegedly kidnapped and beat a man who claimed to have a sex tape of the NBA legend.
Ladell Rowles and six other men associated with the Main Street Mafia Crip Gang are alleged to have abducted a man named Robert Ross from a Los Angeles convenience store on February 11, 2008, later pistol whipping him and taking jewelry and $15,000 in cash.
Ross previously had a business deal with O’Neal go sour and told the basketball giant he possessed security camera footage of O’Neal having sex with other women before his split with wife Shaunie.
That’s when the gang members supposedly went after Ross for the tape and retribution.
The seven men, currently in custody, are charged with crimes, including robbery and kidnapping.
O’Neal has been interviewed by detectives with the LAPD to determine whether he had any knowledge of the alleged crimes, according to TMZ.
The just-retired NBA star has NOT been named as a suspect, and there’s no evidence that he was involved in the violence.

Kim Kardashian’s Extravagant Wedding Registry

Kim Kardashian is wasting no time preparing for her upcoming nuptials to Kris Humphries.
The reality star headed to luxury store Gearys in Beverly Hills on Monday with Humphries and her mom Kris Jenner to put together their wedding registry.
Not surprisingly, she’s going big.
Kardashian’s wish list includes a $6,500 vase, an $880 salad fork and $23,000 worth of Hermes place settings.
Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom also registered at Gearys for their wedding.
Although some outlets reported Kardashian would tie the knot this summer, the date listed on her registry is October 31.

Sarah Jessica Parker Says She “Enjoys Jury Duty,†Despite Newspaper’s Claim

“Sarah Jessica Parker got called for jury duty yesterday, but didn’t appear eager to serve,” reports the New York Post.
The paper says Parker was overheard “griping to another prospective panelist about the better things she had to do than cool her heels in Manhattan federal court.”
The “Sex and the City” star supposedly made different excuses about why she couldn’t serve, allegedly telling fellow panelists, “My daughter is at home sick,” and then later noted she had an “international flight” the following day.
However, that’s NOT what happened.
Far from “griping,” Parker, who arrived early to court yesterday, was happy to serve, and she NEVER offered any reasons to be excused. She also did not have – nor claimed to have had – an “international flight” today.
In fact, even though one of Parker’s twin daughters was running a temperature of 103 degrees, the actress arranged for a babysitter and coordinated with husband Matthew Broderick, just so that she could fulfill her jury duty obligation.
Gossip Cop spoke directly with Parker, who tells us, “I’m one of the few who enjoys jury duty,” noting she’s met interesting people the past two times she’s willingly served.
And despite the Post’s claim that she was angling for an out, Parker never listed any reasons why she couldn’t serve when filling out a form given to prospective jurors yesterday morning nor did she offer any excuses when later asked by court officials or the presiding judge.
Incredibly, the Post was fully aware that Parker didn’t note any hardships or excuses on her juror form when she handed it in before court began. Instead, the tab only quoted (albeit inaccurately) a conversation Parker had  four hours later about her  sick daughter in an effort to make it seem like she was trying to get of jury duty.
A court spokeswoman confirms to Gossip Cop that Parker never attempted to slide out of jury duty, and “had every intention to serve.”
Actually, Parker far from acts like a Hollywood diva. She’s routinely spotted in New York walking her son James to school, dropping off dry cleaning, and even taking the subway, which she did yesterday to court.
Not only did the actress tell Gossip Cop she would be “happy to serve” when asked again, but she encourages everyone to “do it.”
“I respect the process,” says Parker, adding, “it’s a necessity.”

Hugh Hefner Confirms Wedding to Crystal Harris is Canceled

Hugh Hefner and Crystal Harris‘ wedding has been called off.
Hefner tweeted moments ago, “The wedding is off. Crystal has had a change of heart.”
TMZ claims the couple had an argument this weekend that led Harris to cancel their nuptials just days before the June 18 ceremony.
Gossip Cop confirmed the new with a rep for Harris.
The pair became engaged last Christmas.

REPORT: Sean Bean Stabbed in Bar Fight

Sean Bean was reportedly stabbed outside a London pub on Sunday evening after getting into a confrontation with a male patron.
The Lord of the Rings and “Game of Thrones” actor was smoking a cigarette outside Hill Bar and Brasserie with Playboy bunny April Summers when a man began making inappropriate comments about his companion, reports the Daily Mail.
Bean allegedly confronted the man, and thought he’d settled the matter until the man returned and attacked him, allegedly punching him in the face and stabbing him in the arm with broken glass.
Hill Bar staff says Bean refused a trip to the hospital, and tended to his own wounds with the pub’s first aid kit before ordering another drink.
Gossip Cop has reached out the a rep for Bean in order to confirm the report.

Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Baby Mama Mildred Baena Breaks Her Silence

In an interview with Hello! magazine, Baena describes realizing Schwarzenegger was her son’s father.
“It was as Joseph grew and I started to see the resemblance that I wondered – but it became more apparent as time went on,” she says.
“I knew Arnold was the father, and maybe as Joseph got older and began to look like him, [Schwarzenegger] wondered. But he never said anything to me.”
Baena also opens up about the moment Maria Shriver confronted her.
“She asked [about Joseph] point blank,” recalls Baena, who says Shriver “cried with me and told me to get off my knees.”
“We held each other and I told her it wasn’t Arnie’s fault,” recalls the housekeeper, explaining, “It takes two.”
Baena still has affection and good wishes for Schwarzenegger and Shriver, who separated after 25 years of marriage just days before the scandal broke.
“He’s a good man and I know he’s suffering, too. He loves Maria. I hope with time they work things out.”
