‘Kate Plus 8‘ star Kate Gosselin is in NYC to promote her show, and along the way she’s sharing that things are good between her and ex-husband Jon Gosselin.

She says that things are getting better between the kids and their dad, too!
The kids enjoy spending time with him. They wish he would see them more, but as long as they come home happy – and more or less they do – I’m okay with that, so that’s good.”
Kate is ready to jump back into dating if the right man presents himself, but if not – she’s okay with it:
“I want somebody who is older, at least in their 40s. I can’t be bothered with these little boys.”
“It would be really great to find somebody in real life who can handle the stress around here and who can love my kids the way I do. I want someone who is strong and smart and driven. I think those are the best qualities.”
“If it’s meant to be, it’ll be. And if not, then whatever. I’m happy as I am.”

A sequel to the Angelina Jolie hit Salt is in the works, with the actress interested in reprising her role as butt-kicking spy Evelyn Salt.
Sony has ordered a script for a new Salt movie, and work on the story has begun already, reports Deadline.
The first movie’s plot left open the possibility for a sequel.
It opened last summer to a strong box office and wound up earning more than $300 million worldwide.

The day after one vampire movie dominated the MTV Movie Awards, there’s a new trailer for bloodsucker remake Fright Night.
(Not coincidentally, the Fright Night trailer even references the Twilight series.)
Opening on August 19, the movie stars Anton Yelchin as a teen battling the vampire who just moved into his neighborhood, as played by Colin Farrell.

Jessica Biel and Gerard Butler are the subjects of a “new couple alert” issued by Perez Hilton, who says Biel “may have finally found someone to replace the Justin Timberlake size hole in her heart.”
Biel and Butler have been filming their movie Playing The Field in Louisiana, but Hilton says they’ve been acting like more than friendly co-stars.
“Maybe they are taking the state motto to heart!” declares Hilton.
Hmm.
Louisiana’s state motto is “Union, Justice and Confidence.”
We’re not really sure where Hilton was going with that one.
In any case, the blogger says Biel and Butler’s “actions around each other suggest something a bit more could be going on.” Specifically, they sat next to each other during a recent cast dinner, and they were reportedly spotted on Butler’s motorcycle over the weekend.
“Sounds like the start of something new to us!” gushes Hilton.
Actually… sounds like the same tired old wrong rumor about the pair that’s been popping up for a while.
A rep for Butler assures Gossip Cop that he and Biel are just friends.
