Cameron Diaz is “secretly mourning the end of her relationship” with Alex Rodriguez, according to Life & Style.
“They’ve broken up,” an alleged “insider” tells the tabloid, explaining that Rodriguez “told her that he needs to focus on baseball and that’s all there is to it.”
Really?
“That’s all there is to it”?
Life & Style is adamant the couple has split, claiming it was Diaz’s need to get more serious that drove away the slugger.
“For a long time, Alex thought she was a ton of fun,” explains the tab’s “insider,” and because Diaz “kept saying that she never wanted to get married and have kids, he thought she would be an easy girlfriend.”
“But then she pushed for more of a commitment, and he told her to cool it.”
What a shame.
We don’t mean about Diaz and Rodriguez – they’re still together.
We’re referring to Life & Style’s latest failed stab at relevance.
A source close to Rodriguez tells Gossip Cop the report “is not true.”
Once again, Life & Style strikes out.

Camille Grammer filed for primary custody today for her and Kelsey Grammer’s two kids, confirms a rep for the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star to Gossip Cop.
Camille’s filing comes less than a month after Kelsey sought sole physical custody of the kids.
According to Camille’s papers, her ex’s earlier legal maneuvering was ”done in order to create a false impression to the media and to wrongfully disparage” her.
The former couple divorced in early February, paving the way for Kelsey to marry Kayte Walsh later that month.

Bono found himself hitchhiking in Vancouver, Canada on Tuesday, and was picked up by none other than Edmonton Oilers center Gilbert Brule.
The hockey pro was driving to a park with his girlfriend Kelsey Nichols when he spotted the U2 frontman on the side of the road, reports the Edmonton Journal.
“I didn’t want to stop, but they waved and [Gilbert] yelled ‘that’s Bono’,” Nichols says. “I didn’t believe him so I kept driving.”
When Bono and his assistant got into the vehicle, the rocker revealed they had gone out for a walk only to get caught in a downpour.
Bono paid his thanks to the couple by giving them tickets and backstage passes to U2’s Wednesday night show in Edmonton.
The rock star reportedly gave Brule a shout-out at the concert that night, telling the crowd, ”I like ice hockey because people who play ice hockey are the kind of people who pick up hitchhikers.”
“I’m ever so grateful. I’ve decided that I want to be Gilbert Brule.”

Did Lindsay Lohan try to make a run for it?
No, but the actress’ electronic monitoring ankle bracelet did go off earlier this week, prompting probation officers to visit her Venice townhouse, where the actress is serving 35 days of detention.
It turns out that the monitor malfunctioned, sending an alert even though Lohan was right where she’s been ordered to be – at home, reading scripts and watching television.
“Lindsay’s electronic monitoring system went off on Monday,” confirms her attorney Shawn Chapman Holley in a statement.
“When a representative from the monitoring company went to her home, the representative found Lindsay there. The equipment was replaced the following day.”
Phew. No manhunt necessary.
Lohan’s house arrest is to last 35 days.
The confinement is part of her sentencing after pleading no contest to a misdemeanor charge for stealing a $2,500 necklace from a jewelry boutique.

“Fear Factor” is coming back to NBC.
One of the earliest hits in the reality TV genre, the stunt show will get a reboot in the wake of the network’s success with singing competition “The Voice.”
“No one has come close to doing what [they did] on that show,” NBC executive Paul Telegdy tells EW. “You go back and they’ve stood the test of time. It always had this incredible spectacle to it.”
“Fear Factor” originally ran from 2001 to 2006, with Joe Rogan serving as host.
“The stunt and camera technologies have evolved since then; we’re going to be able to make it even bigger,” says Telegdy.
The reboot is expected to launch in 2012, although neither a timetable nor a new host has not been confirmed.
Are you excited for a revived “Fear Factor”?

Olivia Wilde and Bradley Cooper are “definitely hooking up” according to Us Weekly.
The mag says the stars got “cozy” at The Hangover Part II after-party on May 23, and that Wilde “didn’t like sharing” Cooper with other female party-goers.
“Olivia acted jealous when other girls came up to him,” says a supposed “source” for the tab.
And that’s not all.
Two days before, the “House” star supposedly “took off” with Cooper after the “Saturday Night Live” season finale wrap party.
But as Gossip Cop previously reported, Wilde and Cooper are NOT romantically involved.
A rep for Wilde again reiterates that she and Cooper are not together, saying they’re “friends only,” and there’s “nothing” going on between them.
UPDATE: Wilde herself just addressed the rumor, tweeting, “I think Us Weekly has the same sources who promised us WMDs in Iraq.”
Oh snap!

Amanda Seyfried and Ryan Phillippe have called it quits – again.
The pair first met at a Halloween party held by Kate Hudson last year and dated for a few months before breaking up in February. They reunited for a while and Seyfried even stayed by Phillippe’s side when news broke that his ex-girlfriend is pregnant with his baby. Still, they now announced that they’re breaking up again.
According to one source, the decision to split was mutual. Apparently Amanda and Ryan were never even exclusive.
“They were always on and off. They were always seeing other people.”
There’s “no bad blood” between the two and they will remain friends.
