The trailer for Oz The Great and Powerful debuted at Comic Con in San Diego on Thursday.
Described as a prequel to The Wizard of Oz, James Franco stars as Kansas magician Oscar Diggs, who encounters three witches – played by Mila Kunis, Michelle Williams and Rachel Weisz – upon arriving in the Land of Oz.
The film will be released March 8, 2013.

Wow. Well, here’s something we don’t see very often: Lady Gaga wearing a rather “normal” outfit out in public. The chart topper was spotted enjoying an afternoon out at the famed Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles, Calif. on Thursday afternoon.
It was not too long ago that Gaga said that we wouldn’t be seeing very much of her… but it looks like we’re seeing her almost everyday. And to be honest, I actually like this outfit here. The criss-crossed suspenders are actually cute and I can see that style catch on as a trend in Hollywood.

Dear God No, Please Don’t Let Them Reboot The Twilight Series

Of course the Twilight cast was at San Diego Comic-Con since they have to take advantage of every marketing opportunity as the window of time between now and the release of the final movie Breaking Dawn, Part 2 shrinks and shrinks. But, not content to bleed enough profit from this franchise — see what I did there, ’cause they’re vampires? — the cast was joking at their panel about just rebooting the entire Twilight series with a whole new cast.
Allow me to bring in Michael Scott, who can best summarize my reaction to this news:
OK, so it’s just a rumor. And Summit/Lionsgate have legitimately confirmed that they have no plans to start this protracted Edward/Bella saga all over again: “We are not remaking Twilight. We will happily support Stephenie Meyer if she decides to proceed in any way. But this will be the last one unless that should change.” But that doesn’t stop the cast from joking about it! Those cruel folks, creating fodder for articles that, when they come up in my Google Reader, give me a mini heart attack.
New dad Jackson Rathbone joked that they’d have to call the reboot The Amazing Twilight, and that “Andrew Garfield is going to play all the roles. I can’t wait to see what he does with Bella.” Robert Pattinson‘s attempt was less funny, but we don’t blame him since he was understandably rattled after knocking himself in the head with a microphone over and over: “I pity the person who would take over my part. I would make a campaign against them!” Sigh, so close to a Mr. T impression…
Seriously though. Would you actually watch a Twilight reboot?

Katie Price And Leandro Penna Are ENGAGED!

Anyone hoping that Katie Price and Simon Cowell would take their rumored-fling and make it into something more are going to be disappointed, because it appears that the UK glamour model/reality fixture has become engaged for the third time…to her Argentinian model boyfriend, Leandro Penna!
The pair were spotted out and about in London this past week, with Jordan wearing a massive pink engagement ring, and her spokesman confirms:
“It’s true — they are engaged. Leandro proposed to Katie while they were away skiing recently — and she said yes. They told her children but had intended to keep it secret for a while. No wedding arrangements have been made and they are both quite relaxed about that for the time being.”
Well of course no arrangements have been made – she still isn’t completely divorced from her second husband, Alex Reid!
But hey! If they’re happy – and don’t mind exchanging vows with translators – then who are we to judge?
