Anyone hoping that Katie Price and Simon Cowell would take their rumored-fling and make it into something more are going to be disappointed, because it appears that the UK glamour model/reality fixture has become engaged for the third time…to her Argentinian model boyfriend, Leandro Penna!

The pair were spotted out and about in London this past week, with Jordan wearing a massive pink engagement ring, and her spokesman confirms:

“It’s true — they are engaged. Leandro proposed to Katie while they were away skiing recently — and she said yes. They told her children but had intended to keep it secret for a while. No wedding arrangements have been made and they are both quite relaxed about that for the time being.”

Well of course no arrangements have been made – she still isn’t completely divorced from her second husband, Alex Reid!

But hey! If they’re happy – and don’t mind exchanging vows with translators – then who are we to judge?

Kate Gosselin has been pretty quiet lately, but while we thought that meant she had finally given up on the famewhoring, it sounds like this silence is more plotting than surrender. Although it’s just a rumor right now, RadarOnline has heard tell that Kate is currently taping a brand-new reality show, and (no surprise) it’s based around her eight kids.

Now, let’s pause and remember that this tip comes from Robert Hoffman, who wrote a very negative tell-all titled Kate Gosselin: How She Fooled America. He’s also called Child Protective Services on her. The latest Octomom controversy has taught us that sometimes you do need outsiders to intervene for the children’s safety… but Nadya Suleman‘s ex-nannies stayed anonymous, whereas Hoffman obviously has an agenda and is trying to get famous.

Further casting doubt on this story is Hoffman’s own admission, to RadarOnline, that “I don’t know anything for fact.” However, he cites a credible source when he says, “I got a call from a source who told me about Kate filming the kids with someone else in the past two weeks for a new reality show. The person is a big name.”

He also claims that the new show will “exploit and humiliate” her sextuplets and twins, even moreso than the TLC show Jon and Kate Plus 8 that made her famous. Now, a few months ago we heard that Kate was plotting to put her dating life up on the TV, but it sounds like no networks ever took the bait. So, it would be sad if she were reverting back to thrusting her kids in the spotlight for the attention she obviously craves. She claims that her kids “miss the crew,” but the adults they should have in their lives are teachers and parents who care about their well-being first.

It should come as no surprise that Kate is currently tweeting throughout the duration of Hurricane Sandy, keeping her 120,000 followers updated as to how she and the kids are prepping for the storm. Oh, and she’s retweeting everyone who says they’re watching the Kate Plus 8 marathon. Yep, we still know where her priorities are.

Reports are coming in that Jessica Simpson’s Dad, Joe Simpson has finally come out of the closet. How will this affect Jessica Simpson’s weightloss plans? Insiders say Jessica is devastated by the news and the rumored reasons behind the divorce are scandalous enough to have Jess go for some comfort food. Her dad Joe had confessed to having an affair with a 20 year-old boytoy. Apparently, even 10 years younger than Ashley Simpson.

It has been a difficult year for the Simpsons as Joe was charged with two counts of DUI in August after going beyond the legal limit on a breathalyzer test in Sherman Oaks, California. According to the Enquirer, “The police report stated that there was someone else in the car with Joe. Some reports have stated it was Tina, but now the belief is that it may well have been a boyfriend.”

Joe, a former Baptist minister turned music diva manager had split earlier this 2012 from Jessica’s mom Tina after 34 years of marriage.
