Will.i.am is calling out Perez Hilton for his careless “reporting.”

The notoriously bad blogger claimed to have an “exclusive” that the Black Eyed Peas will “replace” Fergie, who is currently expecting her first child.

Citing “a source VERY close to the situation,” Perez said “the funk-tastic band has secretly been auditioning aspiring female leads for the group.”

“Since The Duchess has made it common knowledge that she plans to take the next few years to herself — for parenting and another solo album — the band agreed it was time to move on,” alleged Perez.

“It should definitely be noted that this is a temporary arrangement,” he went on to claim, ”as Fergie will be welcomed back with open arms whenever she chooses to return.”

Stepping in it further, Perez then wrote, “For the time being, however, the boys just simply cannot wait to make new music. They’ve gotta let their muses guide them, and they need/want a lucky new lady to fuse talents with.”

“No time-frame on when we can expect them to debut their new gal, but whoever she is — she’s got BIG shoes to fill… good luck!!” concluded the blogger.

Well, Perez might be waiting a long, long time for his “exclusive” to come true.

Will.i.am slammed the blogger’s clueless “reporting” on Twitter on Thursday night, writing that “the rumors on @fergie being replaced are so false.”

The musician added that Perez “is the furthest from the truth,” and noted, ”#BEP4ever #fergieROCKS…#family.”

The social media phenomenon took the world by storm on March 21, 2006.

Anyone hoping that Katie Price and Simon Cowell would take their rumored-fling and make it into something more are going to be disappointed, because it appears that the UK glamour model/reality fixture has become engaged for the third time…to her Argentinian model boyfriend, Leandro Penna!

The pair were spotted out and about in London this past week, with Jordan wearing a massive pink engagement ring, and her spokesman confirms:

“It’s true — they are engaged. Leandro proposed to Katie while they were away skiing recently — and she said yes. They told her children but had intended to keep it secret for a while. No wedding arrangements have been made and they are both quite relaxed about that for the time being.”

Well of course no arrangements have been made – she still isn’t completely divorced from her second husband, Alex Reid!

But hey! If they’re happy – and don’t mind exchanging vows with translators – then who are we to judge?
