Anyone hoping that Katie Price and Simon Cowell would take their rumored-fling and make it into something more are going to be disappointed, because it appears that the UK glamour model/reality fixture has become engaged for the third time…to her Argentinian model boyfriend, Leandro Penna!

The pair were spotted out and about in London this past week, with Jordan wearing a massive pink engagement ring, and her spokesman confirms:

“It’s true — they are engaged. Leandro proposed to Katie while they were away skiing recently — and she said yes. They told her children but had intended to keep it secret for a while. No wedding arrangements have been made and they are both quite relaxed about that for the time being.”

Well of course no arrangements have been made – she still isn’t completely divorced from her second husband, Alex Reid!

But hey! If they’re happy – and don’t mind exchanging vows with translators – then who are we to judge?

Congratulations, you two! All the best!

This performance, part of the Celebrity Series of Boston, was no exception. Hahn was accompanied by the brilliant pianist, Cory Smythe. Hahn played an exquisite 1864 Paganini-style violin, and her performance was, to my semi-trained ear, flawless.

Even though we are rather fond of Andrew Garfield as Spider Man, we are STILL frustrated that Sam Raimi‘s fourth Spider-Man film with Tobey Maguire couldn’t get made because of stupid studio bullshiz…

Because according to Mr. Raimi, Anne Hathaway was thisclose to starring in his next Spider-Man as cat burglar-turned crime fighter Selena Kyle Felicia Hardy, codename Black Cat!!

And after seeing her portray Cat Woman, it’s obvious that she would have DOMINATED the role!

Raimi expressed:

“I didn’t get to see Batman yet, because I’ve been working nonstop… but I hear she’s great in it. I’m not surprised, because I loved what she was doing with the auditions for Spider-Man 4.”

UGH LAME SAUCE! Why oh why couldn’t this movie have happened?! Oh wait, we know why, cause Sam recently divulged the dirty deets!

He shared:

“It was simply that we had a deadline and I couldn’t get the story to work on a level that I wanted it to work. I was very unhappy with Spider-Man 3, and I wanted to make Spider-Man 4 to end on a very high note, the best Spider-Man of them all. But I couldn’t get the script together in time, due to my own failings, and I said to Sony, ‘I don’t want to make a movie that is less than great, so I think we shouldn’t make this picture. Go ahead with your reboot, which you’ve been planning anyway.'”

LOLz! Even though he mostly takes the blame, Sam still sounds a tad sour about how everything went down!

Who knows, perhaps Anne can STILL portray Black Cat in a future Amazing Spiderman flick?!

Nah, probably not. She’s got an Oscar now!

ALAN Tierney was a police constable with Surrey police who sold information about Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood and Chelsea footballer John Terry’s mother to the Sun in 2009. He earned £1,750. Terry’s mother, Sue Terry, had been cautioned on suspicion of shoplifting (clothes). Wood had been involved with a fracas with his then Russian lover, Ekaterina Ivanova.

He has since left the force.Also, former prison officer Richard Trunkfield also sold stories, reportedly about a high profile prisoner in 2010.

He has left his job.

Was it worth it? For a phone call or two, £1,750 is good money. But careers have been ended. The two men will most likely go to prison.

But is it even about them? Isn’t Operation Elveden a purge on the press and the police’s relationship about the police working a high-profile campaign to look relevant, trusty and upstanding. If the tabloid press can let them do that, then the cops will go for it with relish…

Worrying times…

Any by that we mean he can’t stop using you to garner a little attention for himself.

It’s been two years since his divorce from Katie Price, yet the memory of Peter Andre’s marriage to her haunts his memories still. Peter was a guest on Piers Morgan’s Life Stories this weekend, and he opened up about how their relationship has scarred him for life.

He explained:

“I think that’s what hurts the most about what went wrong a few years ago. Because I’d just come from the worst place in my life. I’m not blaming anybody, but when I finally found happiness (with Price), it was the first time I’d felt good. I felt good about everything. I think that’s probably why I’ve never been able to (move on)… I’ve moved on in leaps and bounds in one way but in another way I’m still a bit tortured inside.”

Yes, breakups can be difficult.

But c’mon! Time to move on! This tortured soul bit isn’t really going to get you anywhere. Let’s try a different angle to get your career started again, okay?
