E! News has just caught wind of the split up of this power couple after 13 years of marriage. The two have been living separate lives for a while, which makes it all the more possible.
A representative for Zeta-Jones says, “Catherine and Michael are taking some time apart to evaluate and work on their marriage.”
As memory serves it, the thespians exchanged their vows back in 2000 through a fairy tale wedding at Manhattan’s Plaza Hotel. Naturally, Hollywood and its enthusiasts — the paparazzi — were all on it.

However, the hardships they encountered during the past few years might have aggravated the situation.
Zeta-Jones has been struggling with a bipolar disorder since 2011 (she sought treatment twice, and just this April), while Douglas has fought with throat cancer in 2010, where he luckily survived.
“The stress has taken a toll on their marriage,” a friend tells People.

It didn’t help that Michael revealed the origins of his cancer: from HPV he got during oral sex, which prompted them to be separate for a while.
Although, time’s not yet up for the two.
“They want the best for their kids, no matter what happens,” another source shares.

Khloe kicked the NBA star out of the Tarzana, Calif. home — but welcomed him back to their multi-million dollar mansion after Lamar gave her an ultimatum: “Let me move back into the house or I am going to file for divorce.â€
“Lamar is back at home with Khloe as of Monday,†a source said.
“Khloe slept at her mom’s Tuesday night, but returned to her house this afternoon. Rob [Kardashian] was also at Khloe and Lamar’s house earlier today and left in the late afternoon.â€
Lamar’s Aug. 26 reunion with Khloe was so emotional that it left the NBA star in tears.
“He broke down, literally broke town in tears when he was with her,†a source said.
“He has more shame than anything. Khloe held him, and she cried too. It’s a sob fest.
“He’s ashamed of himself and feels like he’s let a lot of people down. I don’t know that many women with the strength to go through all this and in public. She’s true to him and he knows that deep down.”

In November of 1964, fearful of his connection to the Communist Partythrough Stanley Levison, the FBI anonymously sent Martin Luther King the following threatening letter, along with a cassette that contained allegedly incriminating audio recordings of King with women in various hotel rooms — the fruits of a 9 month surveillance project headed by William C. Sullivan.Unsurprisingly, King saw the strongly worded letter as an invitation for him to take his own life, as did an official investigation in 1976 which concluded that the letter “clearly implied that suicide would be a suitable course of action for Dr. King.”
